Hi,
I was trying to unroot my wildfire s after being rooted for more than a year... i used the below link to lock back my bootloader and unroot ..
androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/526575-guide-unrooting-gingerbread-2-3-5-a.html
On the bootloader screen, it says locked (oow)... i then used PG76IMG.zip file which i actually got by renaming the file : RUU_Marvel_S_hTC_Asia_India_2.13.720.1_Radio_47.23a.35.3035H_7.53.39.03M_release_225848_signed.zip .
After that, when i tried to reboot my phone, it never goes past the htc logo screen.. Please help.. What am i missing or doing incorrectly.
Thanks.

Are you sure you can use that guide for this phone? Different phones, different methods. Either this or you flashed the wrong zip file.

You can't flash a custom rom because your bootloader is locked :/ unlock your bootloader and then re-run cwm.

I was installing the Cyanogenmod hboot so i can install my Cool3D sense on my HTC DESIRE CDMA, and now once i restarted the phone once it successfully installed the hboot, my phone wont do ANYTHING. Fastboot works, but nothing else. I can't seem to get the official USCC RUU to download, either. I have tried USCC RUU's from other people, but all of them keep saying that there is a file error or something like that... like it says a file may be damaged on the RUU....? but yeah. I hope my phone isn't bricked, because I am about to go on a big trip and i need my phone, and ofcourse don't have money to get another one... can someone please help me, like fast?!?! I repeat, NOTHING ON MY PHONE WORKS, BESIDES FASTBOOT.

I can not know type of my htc s710d form china telecom

flashed on it CWM and rom.zip ICS for incredible 2
now my phone still on htc logo
i try to flash it wit alot of ( .ruu flash file ) But it shows error (155)
and this some Picture from it
Vivow is the incredible 2. Shows you're unlocked, but still an s-on hboot. Did you use the revolutionary unlock method from these forums or htc's bootloader unlock?
If you can't get your phone to boot,I would suggest using revolutionary unlock method to remove the s-on status.

Re-unlock your bootloader
Flash CWM touch recovery
Flash a custom rom
this will get your phone back up & running whilst giving you the root you were after in the first place.

You can use the same unlock code, use the same bin file, you don't need to generate it all again.
Once unlocked,
Enter fastboot on your phone
Plug into PC (should now say fastboot usb)
Flash CWM touch recovery
CWM touch > http://db.tt/VF9J2eo8
place it in your fastboot folder within Android SDK on your PC
Open command prompt on pc
Default commands are: (first command is different if your pc installation of Android SDK differs from its default location)
CD c:/Android-SDK/platform-tools
fastboot flash recovery CWM.img
---
Then you want to download a custom rom of choice,
You can place the zip files on your phone from within CWM recovery whilst plugged into PC - just select mount usb storage within CWM recovery, and drag them to your phone, then unmount.

Without adb to tell what is stopping the device from fully booting we cannot fully tell if its the radio or not. Besides running a ruu will reflash the radio in the process and it will check it to make sure its OK before sending it to the bootloader. Flashing radios is a dangerous game, one bad download is all it takes to kill a phone. And as you said all the user would need to do afterwards is reflash the recovery and their preferred rom I'm not looking to start a flame war here, I'm just saying that a ruu will be easier for inexperienced users. And they will not lose s-off as revolutionary patches the bootloader to ignore all updates.

Hmmm :-\ if I was you I would run ruu, and go completely to stock. Then try letting the phone boot. If that fails boot into bootloader and select factory reset. If that fails then it may well be a hardware issue pal :-\

How did you flash the radio?
It can be a bit sticky using cwm to flash it, fastboot is the most reliable way, it does sound like a radio problem to me.... Does it boot up without a sim card in, or can you quickly try to turn it to airplane mode before it switches off again? If it stays on then it is most likely a broken radio.
As stated above though an ruu should solve the problem regardless.....

I have a problem with my rooted HTC One X. I installed the AOKP 4.2.1 custom ROM on my HTC One X and it was working perfectly. I then tried to flash the CM 10.1.2, by first updating the HBOOT to 1.33.
After updating the HBOOT, I got stuck on the "Initiating Swagger" screen and can't copy any ZIP files to the SDCard.
The Fastboot actually works, as I get the serial from the CMD fastboot devices.
My question is, how can I transfer the cm- 10.1.2-endeavoru.zip file to the device from the fastboot instance?
And, what other steps could you point me to in order to get my device working again.
For reference, my device is CID 11111111, which, was changed to HTC_621 in the HBOOT upgrade process.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Go into the recovery and mount the sdcard as a mass storage device
Mounts & storage - last option in the list (on CWM recovery)
Then copy what you need.

Fastboot orders like giving you access only to bootloader without accessing the hardware , like accessing bios on computer , as dear member just mentioned above you can access your storage from inside recovery or inside a running ROM
beside being stuck at installing swagger it may come to multiple problem, like defective ROM zip file , not appropriate system cleaning before installing , defective CWM or even a defective hard drive
try to erase old system well or try to download the ROM zip again

this got flashed successfully but still the phone is in boot loop. it starts and stuck at htc logo and after that restarts.

and "ruu_endeavor_u_jb_45_s_htc_europe_3.14.401.27_radio_5.1204.162.29_release_298897_signed"
but both stuck at sending file and gave error[159]:image error.
after that i tried "RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_S_HTC_Europe_2.17.401.2_Radio_2.1204.135.20_release_274900_signed_2"
this got flashed successfully but still the phone is in boot loop. it starts and stuck at htc logo and after that restarts.
Sir could you please direct me to a correct RUU for my phone.
