Re-unlock your bootloader
Flash CWM touch recovery
Flash a custom rom
this will get your phone back up & running whilst giving you the root you were after in the first place.

You can use the same unlock code, use the same bin file, you don't need to generate it all again.
Once unlocked,
Enter fastboot on your phone
Plug into PC (should now say fastboot usb)
Flash CWM touch recovery
CWM touch > http://db.tt/VF9J2eo8
place it in your fastboot folder within Android SDK on your PC
Open command prompt on pc
Default commands are: (first command is different if your pc installation of Android SDK differs from its default location)
CD c:/Android-SDK/platform-tools
fastboot flash recovery CWM.img
---
Then you want to download a custom rom of choice,
You can place the zip files on your phone from within CWM recovery whilst plugged into PC - just select mount usb storage within CWM recovery, and drag them to your phone, then unmount.

If you have the unlock code file still, you dont need to go to HTC Dev - just use the same command you used before.

So as will be immediately obvious, I am new to posting on this site and I'm sure the title will explain why. Before I start, I was using (the 'was' will be explained later) a rooted stock ROM and I had not backed it up (the instructions I used forgot to mention it).
The 2.17 HOX OTA update was finally released by three (I'm currently on 1.28) and I hoped that this update would fix several problems I've been having (standard HOX problems like battery life, camera quality, lag, and an ever growing system data). So I was fairly desperate to install this update, but when I tried clockwork recovery told me that it failed, and by using google I discovered that I'm not the only one with this problem.
This where I get stupid. In desperation to install this update I found that SuperSu has an option to full unroot and I hoped that this would reinstall the stock recovery in the process, but now I am left with an unrooted phone with clockwork recovery installed.
If anyone can help me reinstall the stock recovery so I can install this update I'd very much appreciate it. I apologise if I was long winded, I just felt it better to try and explain the whole situation.

The problem is I can not ("unlock" Bootloder) for Root
This problem got me after installed (stock ROM) to my device via (RUU)
I followed the same steps taken by the first time , but that does not work Because (Bootloader) in the case of (relocked)
And I want to become a case (Bootloader) is (unlocked) again
But how????????????
What do you mean:

yes locking it after the first unlock,it says relocked.for unlocking it again-
place the Unlock_code.bin image file u received from htc the first time in the fastboot/platform-tools folder.
boot ur phone into bootloader.
select fastboot.
connect phone to pc.it should say fastboot usb in red.
now flash the Unlock_code.bin to ur phone using the following command-
fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin.
select yes.ur bootloader is unlocked again!
for rooting it again-
flash a recovery first.boot into bootloader then go into fastboot as mentioned above.connect phone to pc.
then place the recoveryname.img in the fastboot/platform-tools folder.flash it using-
fastboot flash recovery recoveryname.img.
the recovery is flashed.now, boot into recovery.and then flash this zip in recovery-

your phone is rooted again
Thank you "mihirengg19"

I want a second way to work
That means u don't have proper drivers installed.did u remove the drivers or the SDK kit after unlocking it the 1st time?

Question you sane???
How I Rooted my device before with that same system and the same files without any addition or deletion
I told you that the old way did not work I want another way to "unlock bootloder" to root
Sorry there is no other way to unlock bootloader;the only way is giving u an error, and that error is caused due to improper driver installation and environment setup.

ok, calm down, everyone has this problem while flashing, i get it so many times, they can cause by the following reasons
bad flash
wrong rom
you forgot to flash the kernel
wrong kernel
messed up the order in flashing
ok,
1.Bad flash-this occurs if the .zip file is corrupted
solution:= re flash the ROM, if still no, download the file again and try
2.wrong ROM- u may have downloaded a ROM that is not for ur device or a ROM which is of not ur description
for example u might me a PRIMO C device/CDMA and u downloaded a PRIMO U/GSM ROM
3.Wrong Kernel-Kernel is the link between ur software and hardware, if u flash the wrong one like the case mentioned above , download the correct one and re flash
4.[ FLASHING YOUR KERNEL SHOULD BE THE LAST STEP][UNLESS U HAVE A S-OFF DEVICE]

I hope I get a fairly quick response to this Followed some advide in that thread, flashed a kernel (I thought) using the All In One Tool, ever since, I've been stuck in a bootloop. Obviously I have access to my bootloader and TWRP (thankfully). My recovery backup returns the same results though.
Im new to this so I'll try toprovide all the info I can.
Followed the TUT on how to Unlock Bootloader and Root 2 days ago.
Yesterday, using the All In One tool, flashed TWRP onto phone.
Was unable to Flash AOKP JellyBean 4.1.2 so I asked for help again (ROM was flashed, but stuck on Initiating Swagger Boot)
Tried using All-In-One to flash (what I thought was) a kernel, since then, my phone just boots continuously or not at all (depending on if I wipe or whatnot)
While at work, I was able to Flash the AOKP rom and Boot into it, but after about 1 minute of use, it reboots.
This is where I'm at now.
My bootloader says
***UNLOCKED***
PRIMOC PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT- 1.57.0000
RADIO- 1.00.05.0929
eMMC-boot
Jun 18 2012, 10:22:43
I'm using the latest version (2.3.3.) of TWRP
Is there anyway I can find, and delete, the boot.img I flashed with All-In-One, that caused this bootloop?
Thanks again for helping.

I've been trying to downgrade the Radio but for some reason, even that isn't working. So I'm currently unable to go back to the stock rom, can't flash any roms, can't do anything but be in the bootloader and be sad.
I have a problem with my rooted HTC One X. I installed the AOKP 4.2.1 custom ROM on my HTC One X and it was working perfectly. I then tried to flash the CM 10.1.2, by first updating the HBOOT to 1.33.
After updating the HBOOT, I got stuck on the "Initiating Swagger" screen and can't copy any ZIP files to the SDCard.
The Fastboot actually works, as I get the serial from the CMD fastboot devices.
My question is, how can I transfer the cm- 10.1.2-endeavoru.zip file to the device from the fastboot instance?
And, what other steps could you point me to in order to get my device working again.
For reference, my device is CID 11111111, which, was changed to HTC_621 in the HBOOT upgrade process.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Go into the recovery and mount the sdcard as a mass storage device
Mounts & storage - last option in the list (on CWM recovery)
Then copy what you need.

Fastboot orders like giving you access only to bootloader without accessing the hardware , like accessing bios on computer , as dear member just mentioned above you can access your storage from inside recovery or inside a running ROM
beside being stuck at installing swagger it may come to multiple problem, like defective ROM zip file , not appropriate system cleaning before installing , defective CWM or even a defective hard drive
try to erase old system well or try to download the ROM zip again

Either way he'd have lost super Cid unless he did an OTA.

Do you have any CWM backup?
If not, then try a RUU.

Sir i dont have CWM backup.
i tried to install "RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_hTC_Asia_TW_3.14.709.20_Radio_5.1204.162.29_release_292865_signed_2"
and "ruu_endeavor_u_jb_45_s_htc_europe_3.14.401.27_radio_5.1204.162.29_release_298897_signed"
but both stuck at sending file and gave error[159]:image error.
after that i tried "RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_S_HTC_Europe_2.17.401.2_Radio_2.1204.135.20_release_274900_signed_2"
this got flashed successfully but still the phone is in boot loop. it starts and stuck at htc logo and after that restarts.
Sir could you please direct me to a correct RUU for my phone.

I have HTC Desire 600 working on 4.1.2...with build number 1.16.401.3
HBOOT version 1.02.0001
Rooted and Bootloader unlocked with S ON!
I tried to update my phone but it couldnt work and then i downloaded file from xda(stock rom-1.20.401.3) and manually flashed it from zip on sd card via CWM Recovery. My mistake was this that i didnt wipe data/factory reset before flashing new rom...but then i am stuck at the boot screen where HTC and BeatsAudio logo comes...My phone is unable to start. I the tried repeating the process again and again, but of no use..
I dont have Nandroid backup either...:crying:
now my phone goes into bootloader or recovery or that boot screen just...:crying:
Now i need help from anyone of u that what should i do to make my phone working...Any methods to flash some rom with S-ON?
Please guide me and u can give me links for the rom or recovery or whatever here...It doesnt matters whether its custom rom or stock or official...I just need my phone to be in a working condition.
How should i install the rom now with S-ON or how to S-OFF if anyone can help me out...
Thanks in advance...Hope to hear from you people soon

No that's only for the original HTC Desire, not the new HTC Desire 600.
I need more information on what you downloaded ( Provide Links ) , are you htcdev unlocked, what recovery, hboot information...

It still persists..Let me tell you from beginning.
1. Went into CWM recovery and formatted cache, dalvik cache and wiped to factory reset.
2. Then clicked on 'install from zip' and installed the rom which you gave in other thread,,,i.e.
Signed JB 4.1.2 HTC Desire 600 Sense5 rooted v.1.16.401.3 - https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6WB.../preview?pli=1
3. Then rebooted the device into bootloader and clicked Fastboot.
4. Extracted the rom file and copied the boot.img to fastboot folder.
5. Then opened the CMD window and gave the command fastboot flash boot boot.img
6. Got this message there
sending 'boot' <16383KB>... OKAY [2.719s]
writing 'boot'... OKAY [1.938s]
finished. total time: 4.672s
7. Then click on REBOOT from bootloader.
8. Device rebooted but still stuck on that HTC with beatsaudio logo...Can't get out of it...
NOW TELL WHERE I AM DOING THE PROCESS WRONG?
REMEMBER MY BOOTLOADER IS UNLOCKED WITH S-ON..
Can downloading kernels from htc dev website help in any way or relocking once again bootloader?

No, I could help him fix it if he new exactly what build he was on before he flashed the rom

Sorry but my first thought would have been the same as you, 24ky, to flash the boot.img with fastboot. I know nothing about the Desire 600 but perhaps you can't install ROMs without s-off. A perfect example of why people need to make backups before rushing into flashing ROMs.
