I was pretty sure that when i uninstalled several apps i had 3gb free. But then my storage view disappeared. I couldn't see the internal memory part.
After restart, these values appeared and they don't seem to match up.
Also storage view just keeps on aaying "calculating"
What could be the problem?
Oh snap! I don't have a witty tapatalk signature!
Did you use media scanner fix or something?

Try diskusage .. is free from playstore and gives you a detailed distribution of your storage

Wipe your dalvik cache in recovery and check again and if that doesn't work then go to settings/application manager/all application then scroll to Settings and clear data.

Hi,
I've been noticing this process waking my phone up a lot. Has anyone else seen it? Any ideas?

I have the same problem, my phone has been showing as being 100% awake with the sdio_al process running for 11 hours or so (how long I had my phone unplugged.)
It has something to do with the sd card, from what I've read. I tried formatting mine and it went away for a while, but it came back. I did notice that my video folder sometimes disappears. Might need a new card.

Just wanted to let you know that I wiped my cache with Darkside's Cache Wipe and it solved the problem, for now at least. So try that out and hopefully it will work for you!
I did a search and received a bunch of off topic returns. anyone seen this and perhaps can point me to a fix?

I get this constantly (as in every 60 seconds at times). I like the phone, but not if this continues.
thanks much

Yeah, I'm still stock and I get that error as well. Without getting a logcat as it happens it's difficult to tell. I wouldn't worry about it that much.
Try flashing a newer version of the Google apps

In settings > app manager, find Google Services Framework and clear cache and data.
If that doesn't work boot recovery and wipe dalvik.

Hello,
Is there a way to stop the battery drain by disabling networklocationlocator wakelock? The location settings in Maps app are all disabled but it's still happening. Thanks!

Try reinstalling maps. Never seen this before if automatic location reporting is disabled
I have the same problem and I haven't found away to get rid of it even reinstalling it.
In location services turn off "use wireless networks" setting and see if it help.

Hello all,
I just have a question about my internal storage. It says there is less than 2 GB left left but the math does not quite line up. Anyone know why?

Get an app like sd maid and it will clean corpe files from your internal storage as well as system . Sometimes I use it and recover 300-600mb that I had in junk files taking up space.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
I found out the reason
It is because I had a few backups and other junk on the root of my sdcard0, and under directories that are not "download", "pictures" and the other directories pictured.

can anyone say what directory the recovery image saves to? it says for Android 4.2 its saved in a secure location i.e not in the clockwork mod backup folder. why have they done this? just to get you to shell out on premium so you can download through your browser?
is it possible to locate it through root browser?

Doh! Mine doesn't actually say that but thanks for the tip. (Its been a long day)
In 4.2 its actually /mnt/shell/emulated/clockworkmod/backup

That's because the folders are really symlinked (like a folder shortcut in Windows)
