can anyone say what directory the recovery image saves to? it says for Android 4.2 its saved in a secure location i.e not in the clockwork mod backup folder. why have they done this? just to get you to shell out on premium so you can download through your browser?
is it possible to locate it through root browser?

That's because the folders are really symlinked (like a folder shortcut in Windows)

as the title, how to do so? is it just simply move the app into system/app?

Apps2Rom serves the purpose. Thanks a lot.
Lately I've been noticing something weird with my camera app. When I take pictures sometimes, it doesn't save the pictures properly. There's always two files (please look at screenshot). Anyone else faced this issue? Gallery shows a black image. Looking at the file system, there are two files for each pic, one JPG and other with a tmp extension

Are you using a custom rom with a modified camera app?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
I am on Rasbean Jelly, but the camera app is the original one and not modified (at least that's what I think so).

Tried 'fix permissions' in CWM recovery?
SD card nearly full? Or FS corrupted maybe, try flashing stock image and maybe even relock and unlock bootloader to make sure the storage gets a nice and juicy reformat, then flash ras again from scratch.
I'm coming from aokp and trying to flash paranoid android. I keep getting this error. Any ideas?

Also, shame on me, I don't have the original OS backed up on CWM...

You need to edit your build.prop.
change
ro.product.device
Value should be d2att
Should flash after that.
I got the same error too. Simply updating CWM to the latest version (version listed in my sig) fixed the problem.
Probably easier than editing.
So change the name of the .zip or something located in the.zip ?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
Update cwm, then flash the ROM zip. No need to edit anything.

anybody know?
what does you mean?
I don't think you can rename it because that's the deviceid, to my knowledge you would have to change the modelid to change the name and that's just my educated guess lol. Why would you want to anyway?

Maybe you can distinguish by having a certain file or folder in the root of your sd that signifies which device is which
Sent from my SGH-T999
but i haven't root on it
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda app-developers app
No the root of your sd card, you're memory in your device, like where you store songs, pictures, etc the root of the sd card means like "sdcard:/" without going into any subfolders

Notice the gradient?

I want to remove it so it will look more like this:
In 4.1.2 I could just modify the framework-res.apk files, but those don't drive the display in 4.2+...
Would ZipThemer or MetaMorph be able to help me out?
No, I don't want a custom rom.

The " DarkerModJB_Universal_-_CWM_V8.4(JB_4.2.1)_mod_by_eng.stk.zip" the one of 972.8k file size, the before-last attachment. It's the one I've used and it works on 4.2.2.
I've not tested the 609.8k file size.
