anybody know?

what does you mean?

I don't think you can rename it because that's the deviceid, to my knowledge you would have to change the modelid to change the name and that's just my educated guess lol. Why would you want to anyway?

oh that bad , as i have two n7105 and need to define which one for me and my wife in computer when connect at the same time

Maybe you can distinguish by having a certain file or folder in the root of your sd that signifies which device is which

but i haven't root on it
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda app-developers app

No the root of your sd card, you're memory in your device, like where you store songs, pictures, etc the root of the sd card means like "sdcard:/" without going into any subfolders

Bump... anyone?

Not sure of a fix or how to add images but the reason you have empty thumbs is because the ROM your using doesn't supply enough images to fill up the directory. The images in your screen shot is not the collection of images found on the stock ROM.
Its calkulin rom but if am not wrong i have those after flashing new theme (Riptide9). I am trying to figure out where images are stored.

Dont have any extras on phone but when trying to insert image inside folder that work, when go to gallery it does not (images not shown getting msg - phone storage is full)

I'm not sure but maybe there is a value somewhere that tells the OS how many images should be displayed or something. I'll play around on my end and see what I can come up with
Great, will wait for response. Thanks !

Memories

My memory seems unrecoverable . I don't want to get rid of any of my apps... there only the best, of course;-). I've tried a memory booster, quite often but it just isn't cuttn it. Simply, how do I free up memory so I can continue downloading without deleting so much ? I've put all the apps it'll allow on my SD card. Is "backup and root" my only option for content? I haven't had this phone but a month yet I think it should take more than this...Thanks for oppinion or advice I appreciate.

This thread makes no sense whatsoever. If you want help, people need to be able to understand what your saying. So you need to revise what you have posted and put it in a way that people will actually understand.
He didn't make that left turn at Albuquerque.
Go to the market and get apps2sd free?

Weird behavior with Camera

Lately I've been noticing something weird with my camera app. When I take pictures sometimes, it doesn't save the pictures properly. There's always two files (please look at screenshot). Anyone else faced this issue? Gallery shows a black image. Looking at the file system, there are two files for each pic, one JPG and other with a tmp extension

Are you using a custom rom with a modified camera app?

I am on Rasbean Jelly, but the camera app is the original one and not modified (at least that's what I think so).

Tried 'fix permissions' in CWM recovery?
SD card nearly full? Or FS corrupted maybe, try flashing stock image and maybe even relock and unlock bootloader to make sure the storage gets a nice and juicy reformat, then flash ras again from scratch.

What is this?

So I have looked everywhere with no luck, but I just have to know, what are these little circles?

I'm not sure what the correct name.. but one of them was to connect an external GPS to it.. but in a previous device I seen a person talk about it.. It completely borked his internal GPS.. I could be wrong but I'm pretty confident about my leads lol! I hope some one with the correct name and information can chime in.
Those are testing ports. Do not stick anything in them lol. Someone from here decided to hook up an external GPS receiver from one of those. While it did work fine it completely borked his radio after removing it. Those are really only for Samsung to do tests

one is for external.GPS.. the other is EXTERNAL ANTANA.. aand the third isis to read the internal RAM chip.

where is rom manager backup saved?

can anyone say what directory the recovery image saves to? it says for Android 4.2 its saved in a secure location i.e not in the clockwork mod backup folder. why have they done this? just to get you to shell out on premium so you can download through your browser?
is it possible to locate it through root browser?

That's because the folders are really symlinked (like a folder shortcut in Windows)
