I'm currently using Lupus GB v6 and Aurora play v0.7 so that combination definitely works. Have you tried flashing Aurora after flashing the kernel?

What kernel where u using previously?? If LuPuS ICS/GB or Turbo kernel u need to format all partitions or in fastboot mode
→ fastboot erase userdata && fastboot erase system
Obviously it will wipe all your data and system so u will need to re-flash ROM also. Good luck...

I used Doomkernel before
I reflashed .58 enhanced and then LuPus but it still gives me a Black screen
I also tried Lupus ICS/GB but still the same
Anyone some other advise?
BIG UPDATE:
I tried to flash Atomic GB but somehow it won't boot
I flashed .58enhancedV3 , then DoomKernel and then Atomic GB, got a Bootloop
then LuPus GB Linaro and then Atomic GB, blackscreen
then LuPus ICS/GB and then Atomic GB, only boots if i used 280p Version, but without WiFi
What did i do wrong?
Should i flash another Baseband?

[Q] Unable to restore backup... :(

Hello Frnds,
I was using XperiaMod 6 with DooMKernel v19 and thought of flashing the KA06 ICS. So I backed up the rom using CWM and flashed the Doom's advanced kernel for ICS, rebooted the phone and flashed KA06 ICS.
After installation, I didnt found it as good as XperiaMod 6 so I thought of going back to the same. I again flashed DooMKernel v19 and went to CWM, flashed factory data/cache/dalvik cache and tried the restore option.
But as I selected the backed up rom from SDcard, it gave me MD5 mismatch error... I mean, I had the same kernel which I previously used for XperiaMod6 then y it is showing error like this. I had to reflash the Rom again and restore my data using Titanium backup.. But y did I get such error? Please tell me.. Thanks..

Hey bro, I am not talking bout Doom's ICS kernel.. I had used the advanced stock kernel only.. I am not using ICS now, I again wanted to go back to XperiaMod 6. So I had flashed DoomKernel V19. And when I went to CWM to restore my previously backed up XperiaMod 6, it refused to do by showing MD5 error...

Must be a corrupt file sorry mate

I had the same problem! The thing was, that the name of the folder containing the backup files can't have space. I mean the folder needs to be named "My_Rom" instead of "My Rom".
I don't know why it is like that, but hope it helps!
oh! is it?? I never thought that can also be d cause of problem..
Maybe I had kept spaces... I dont remember now as I deleted the folder from CWM recovery folder as I thought it is of no use..
Anyway, thanks alot bro...

Touchscreen not working on stable CM9 FXP133

I installed the stable cm9..flashed the fxp133 kernel..the installation went smooth but my screen touch function is lost..Any ideas??
Eventually restoring to the stock kernel with JJ hybrid..and yeah the touch is working with this one. So is the problem cos of the kernel or the ROM??
I ll tell the sequence which i followed..let me know where i went wrong..i downloaded the ROM, extracted the boot.img, copied the original cm9 zip into the root of SD..used fastboot mode of flashtools to flash the kernel boot.img..then went into CWM..wiped out SD data..then cache..and then dalvik..and then proceeded to install zip from sd..it installed fine..and then i rebooted..it showed d FXP kernel logo and then CM9 bootscreen and then it loaded like it should..BUT the touchscreen isnt working at all..the hardware keys-power and back i checked were working but not the touchscreen..
Where did I go wrong..i am on baseband -72..bootloader unlocked..
You've installed correctly. Possibly a corrupt download, try re-downloading the zip.

I downloaded both official stable CM9 as well as the FXP one on uploaded.to...tried with each of them but with the same result..both cant be corrupt n it wouldnt have extracted if it was a corrupt download anyways..m still wondering whats wrong..
Also I flashed doomkernel and tried installing..again the same..touchscreen still doesnt work..aarghh..
Flash the kernel, wipe data, system, cache, dalvik, battery stats and flash cm9.
It should work...

I did all that but the stupid touch screen issue still persists..wait..i didn't clear battery stats..but do u think that actually might create such an issue?

Wiping battery stats does nothing to your phone. It doesn't change anything, it doesn't affect anything. It cannot be the problem.
Then what do u think the problem is..infact the installation works fine so i think i m not messing up anything on that front..

Probably best to use flashtool to flash stock ics rom and kernel, then cm9 kernel/rom.
I would try another Kernel ... do you have an Arc or Arc S ... does someone know if it makes a difference ?

Bluetooth Error

hi everyone..I have 1 weird problem with my play. Before all this mess started, I am using lupus gb 7 kernel and aurora play_v1.1.0.then I want to use lupus gb 12 480p and in order to get 640mb data partition,I flash the .62 Phoenix vendor. after that flash kernel and reinstall fresh auroraplay again.of course I did format chace, data etc...before flash the rom. everything was fine but in setting-about phone, my baseband is still showing .64 which is belong to .58 firmware.and my Bluetooth cannot scan or make it discoverable.Other thing wifi and signal have no problem..
I also try reflash the baseband only and kernel..still no luck to solve it.I believe this is not rom related cause it is the same rom before.
I hope some one can tell me how to solve this error.

CM9 Boot time

Hi guys, I've flashsed the CM9 nightly ROM on my Xplay with lupus gb+ics kernel (should support CM9 too) but I'm stuck at the boot animation of CM9...I left it booting something like 10 minutes but it just doesn't load.
ROM downloaded from the official CM repository. Tried clean install with full wipe (data, system, cache, dalvik cache + fix permission after flashing process of the ROM) but still doesn't work.
Any idea ?
Did you try a different kernel?
