As the title says, all my other Android games work flawlessly on this device. Black Ops Zombies does not work. It will load the levels and has graphical glitches. It also works on all my other Android devices. Does anybody else have this problem or know of a solution?
Even the Android Market says it's not compatible with my A100 on the left where it lists all of my devices. So does it just not work with our tablet? I've read online where people said they had it working and i've seen screenshots of ROMS where Black Ops Zombies was installed...

Ill give you a hint, if you play it on a device listed as incompatible, and it doesn't work, then maybe its not compatible with the device?
Otherwise consider chainfire and some testing to see if you can get it going.

Well first off, you don't have to be an asshole. I'm not stupid. I was simply asking a question based on bits and pieces of information I have been given and I wanted an answer from other people who use this tablet as to whether they have gotten this game to work or not. It's really simple as that. You must not have read what I posted in it's entirety.
I am well aware that the A100 is listed as a non-compatible device. But like I said, I have seen ROM screenshots for this tablet showing Black Ops Zombies installed and have read elsewhere that it is reported to be working on this device. I have messed around with Chainfire 3D to see if I could get it to work with no avail, I was simply wanting to know the experience of other users with this tablet trying to play the same game. Your Condescending tone isn't need. Take your negativity somewhere else.
Isn't that what these forums are for? To ask questions and to gather knowledge if you are uncertain about something?

You didn't mention it was for the a100, just that it was working, that could mean it works on the nexus 7. Sorry you took my posting of the obvious as being an ahole, but not sure why the name calling needed to be done, I didn't call you stupid for the stupidity of the posting you did, and I did offer some advice which you could have mentioned as having already been tested, a good thing to remember for any posting about needing help, list what you've tried. May also want to mention which roms you have tried this game on and if they all have the same error or issues. Some games may not get along with JB but work with ICS, or maybe even HC is better. As its a newer game my money would be on JB, but of course testing would be needed.
But I'm an ahole so don't mind my suggestions and instead call me names, go on a rant and ignore any advice given. Again.
Reminded, once again, of why I left this community. Good luck with the game, hope you figure it out.
Edit: nevermind, beyond what was needed. Like the rest of the post.

I started hearing about the ROM over on some Dell Streak blogs and had a thought I was worried about...but wonder if I am just being paranoid.
Where is MIUI from? Is this in some actual consumer phone that is on a major network? Has anyone actually met these people that wrote this?
I see on their website that they are working with some of the devs here and supposedly have submitted the FM app to Cyanogen:
http://www.miui.com/thread-1687-1-1.html (Not much more than that page unless you can read Chinese which I cannot.)
I guess my paranoia sets in when I see things come out like this fully baked and being adopted blindly by the masses. We saw games just last year that were doing random calls and that was from a site people trusted.
Sorry if this seems tinfoil hatty, but really what better way to sink a trojan/backdoor into a ton of phones than to release a super cool looking bit of software that no-one is really going to dig through and vette? So my question is do people here really trust this software? Have the Dev's torn it apart enough to feel they know everything in it?
It's an AOSP-based ROM developed by some Chinese folks to make their phones into KIRF iPhones.
I at one point thought the same thing about it. I thought about where it came from, and all the jazz with the same paranoid mindset. Then I thought about it more, and realized I wouldn't be doing anything on my phone that would be of any interest to anyone. I'm sure its probably legit. There are other poeple that have had to go through and port it to English and more fun stuff. I would assume they have taken a decent look at it.
Just like that live wallpaper with the malware in it, I'm sure someone will find a rouge code. Im sure it will be viral too as apple fanboys would jump all over it discrediting Android. But to be on the safe side, I'd only use ROMs from here and other trusted dev forums, from devs with a good rep. At least you'll know its honest work.
Yes, you're being a bit "tinfoil hatty." Google MIUI dev and you'll see the english forum from xda members that are dedicated to this rom's development. I'm sure that they have broken down most of the rom and you can get more information there.

I how you' re trying (unsuccessfully) to be funny. Here's a newsflash, there are android geeks, honest ones even, all over the world!!
Really, if the Chinese were trying to gather information via some device that millions upon millions of Americans would use (and no, that would not be the MIUI on Android), they would probably tap the ipod, iphone, and ipad - all of which are made in China.

How does an HTC Flyer ROM sound? Well too bad. It doesn't work well.
The apps don't fit well, the camera doesn't work and I've not really bothered trying anything else.
I'm positive I'll need to mess with the framework.
Details;
Mix of Virtuous Unity (framework and lib files and stuff) and the Flyer ROM for the DHD (apps and base ROM).
Launcher actually rotates! Although it don't fit right.
Apps - don't even ask. Tonnes of Force Closes and shiz.
Put simply, I'm posting this thread to raise epic hype. Since I won't have much time for this till Sunday/Monday night. I'll maybe post what I have as a proof of concept, but till then not much can happen.
Ah balls it soft rebooted....
Meh. Enjoy the dream peeps, enjoy the dream.
Stuff I need to fix - Soft keyboard, app sizes, framework, strings, setup wizard, probably the settings app, and loads moar.
Mind you, I have it. You don't. TROLOLOLOL!!
Reserved for stuff.
RESERVED FOR MOAR STUFF!!
Also 1200th post.
Balls I meant 1100. Meh.
Good luck. I look forward to trying this. If you need anyone to test anything during development I'm happy to help. I have a very boring job which gives me loads of spare time to mess around with my phone.

Testing? Nah not yet. I need to make the phone at lease a little usable. IE test all teh functions and stuff. Then next on the list would be making all the apps fit. Which I was gonna leave to the dev of the DHD Flyer port
If you know anything about resizing the apps, or editing frameworks (although I don't know which ones and what to change), thats what I need help with right now.
I don't particularly believe in testing, I'll release my WIP when I'm slightly happy with it, and then perhaps use beta testers for a final release.
I may actually mess with this today, but after that its a wait till Sunday/Monday till I can really start. Got cadets tonight then I'm going away with them from Friday night to Sunday sometime. XD
I also love how every ROM I post gets like 1 star, compared to the 4/5 stars the rest of the forum has.
Cheers community! I'll remember that so that my next ROM doesn't come here, clearly you don't want it.

NoMoarPowah! replaces that boring charging animation when your phone is turned off but connected to the charger with a fully functional program!
In the history of silly stuff I have made, this is perhaps the silliest
This app is only for a select number of Samsung devices. It does not work on any other devices. See the list below
This app requires a fully rooted device
NoMoarPowah! can automatically reboot into Android when charging is done. Either when fully charged, or when the battery level reaches 15% and Android has enough juice to run.
But wait, there's more! NoMoarPowah! can also reboot at a custom time. It will even suggest times based on your currently set alarms, so your phone will be rebooted just before the alarm goes off and you need to wake up! This way you can be sure nobody will bother you while take your well-deserved nap, but still wake up when you need to.
Tested on the following devices:
- Samsung Galaxy S (I9000) and family
- Samsung Galaxy S2 (I9100) and family
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" (P1000) and family
- Samsung Droid Charge
- Samsung/T-Mobile Sidekick 4G
- Samsung Continuum (ticker overlaps)
It half works on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (all models): the functionality is there, but the touch screen does not work in charging mode.
Other devices from the Samsung Galaxy series with a resolution of 800x480 or more may work as well.
Some custom ROMs may disable NoMoarPowah! functionality

Quite weird but interesting none the less

If I were to try it on my GB-flavored Charge, would there be any risk from it not being compatible? Or will it simply fail?

I'm highly interested in seeing what can come of this. i also wonder if dastin or any other E4GT developers are going to try and get it running on our devices.
Seeing what Cyanogen has been doing recently with licensing contributed code and attempting to monetize it really is refreshing to see these devs who have done so much for the entire Android community come together and try and pick up the pieces, and put the community first and foremost.
They have actually added a thread for the ROM already (in Custom ROM Central) with Q&A and General, it also has a Feature Development section... They are going fully open with it and I think that is awesome. They already have an impressive list of features like multi window and multi workspace. I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on what's going on there.
Here is the feature request page-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2481825
I just finished reading up on it and saw something about multi app windows for aosp I was mind blown!
I haven't made any announcements yet but I'm going to look at this for the Sprint S4.
Slick_rick is already working on it for the N2 so it's the best place for me to start on it.
Might as well get ChameleonOS back on track too.
Unfortunately, Omni will not be available for our device until they can incorporate the support for unified kernels. I tried and failed miserably lol.

I don't think it was cm/kernel related, I'll have to see if I can track it down again, but I'm pretty sure it was on their end that would botch something. Going on the hunt for it now lol.

That's correct, loving this phone for over 2 years now, it can change looks in minutes, it calls, texts, takes great pics and does everything a newer phone does, but a bit slower. I can live with that...

I've got a couple builds of this here somewhere.
If I can find them and they run like I remember, maybe I will post one up.
I just recall building it and thinking, this sure is pretty vanilla for PA.
In other words, it's pretty basic stock Kitkat right now, with very few extras.
But like I said, if I can find it and it runs like I remember, maybe I will post it up, or maybe it's time I make a fresh build.
Will have to see what kind of time I have...lot going on right now or I would say I will post for sure.
I've also got an IOAP build I was considering posting if there is interest in such a thing...
