Hi Guys,
I would like to be able to charge my phone while it is off and have it turn on automatically when it is fully charged. Is there and alternative to [root] NoMoarPowah! Pro since it still does not support the Galaxy Note II.
Thanks
It does work on our note 2.
Tested by me.
Reboot now doesn't work. But you can just hold power button for a couple of seconds and it will boot normally.

Can I turn it on with with adb or something?
There's an app you can buy I believe it's slide to unlock or something like that. It basically does what the power button does when you push it

I saw this while reading the forums yesterday, no idea if it actually works.
As for when the phone is on, search the Play Store for PGM Nexus. I think you need a kernel that supports the fuction & I believe the latest "nightlies" of Franco & Trinity both work.
Air kernal also works

Anyone have a guide to rooting on a Mac? I have seen the one on note2root.com but the Mac version is not specific to the sprint version of the note 2.

I know bro I had the same problem.
Right here is the best: http://galaxynote2root.com/galaxy-note-2-root/how-to-root-galaxy-note-2-on-mac-osx/
***MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THESE NEXT DIRECTIONS I GIVE YOU*** " When you are in terminal mode with the Note 2 connected (after vol down, centre button and power button pressed and awaiting upload) — REMOVE THE BATTERY before uploading anything. The USB will power the device. Then pressing the command for heimdall upload, and it will begin the upload process. Once it hits 100% it attempts to restart. This process requires battery power but you have already removed the battery and the phone switches…..OFF! Then put the battery back in and immediately press volume UP, centre button and power button until you see the restart of Galaxy Note 2 and let it boot into CWM mode. Sorted mate!!!
Choose the rooting file from the external SD card and reboot. It should now be ROOTED! Good luck !"
PM me with any questions bro and make sure you do what it is above thats how I got mine to work.

Some people (like me) have to have MAC's for work or school and have no other choice cause they have different priorities than buying a windows computer

Since you already have a few answers for apps to try out, let me offer the knowledge that the S3 MHL adapter works with the Note 2, I use it all the time.
Once my Note 3 is in sleep mode it will take 5 to 8 seconds to power up the screen. Turning the screen off and on is still very quick the delay from sleep seems way too long. Is there a way to shorten the delay or do I have a problem with the device?

I was hoping this had been fixed from my exynos Note 2 to my Snap800 Note 3. While I've noticed it's usually better, sometimes it's just as bad as it was on my note 2. I still have the note 2 and have tried them both at the same time. The 3 generally wins, but occasionally ties and every once in a while is behind the note 2. People used to blame it on the exynos.. but I guess that wasn't the culprit.
Turns out it was my micro ad card causing the problem. Put in a spare and the screen fires up immediately. Doing a full format on the pc in hopes I can still use it. I'd hate to trash a 32gb class 10 SanDisk.
