Anyone have a guide to rooting on a Mac? I have seen the one on note2root.com but the Mac version is not specific to the sprint version of the note 2.

I know bro I had the same problem.
Right here is the best: http://galaxynote2root.com/galaxy-note-2-root/how-to-root-galaxy-note-2-on-mac-osx/
***MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THESE NEXT DIRECTIONS I GIVE YOU*** " When you are in terminal mode with the Note 2 connected (after vol down, centre button and power button pressed and awaiting upload) — REMOVE THE BATTERY before uploading anything. The USB will power the device. Then pressing the command for heimdall upload, and it will begin the upload process. Once it hits 100% it attempts to restart. This process requires battery power but you have already removed the battery and the phone switches…..OFF! Then put the battery back in and immediately press volume UP, centre button and power button until you see the restart of Galaxy Note 2 and let it boot into CWM mode. Sorted mate!!!
Choose the rooting file from the external SD card and reboot. It should now be ROOTED! Good luck !"
PM me with any questions bro and make sure you do what it is above thats how I got mine to work.

Some people (like me) have to have MAC's for work or school and have no other choice cause they have different priorities than buying a windows computer

When you connect your phone to the charger, does it charge? If not, then the USB main board is loose or broken. Luckily, it's attached to the motherboard via ribbon cable and can easily be checked and replaced.
If it charges fine, try this:
1) Launch the phone app
2) Dial ##3424#
3) Press "Qualcomm USB Setting"
4) Choose " MTP + ADB "
5) Press OK button

Hi Guys,
I would like to be able to charge my phone while it is off and have it turn on automatically when it is fully charged. Is there and alternative to [root] NoMoarPowah! Pro since it still does not support the Galaxy Note II.
Thanks
It does work on our note 2.
Tested by me.
Reboot now doesn't work. But you can just hold power button for a couple of seconds and it will boot normally.

Hey guys,
I am trying to trigger pop-up note so I can launch it through Pie control. Sometimes I wanna write a quick note without pulling the pen. Is there a way to trigger the pop-up S Note?
Thanks,

I made a s-note Called named quick note.. I saved it. Then put a link to that note on my home screen. where i can bring it up by clicking the icon of the note.. Not sure if this is what you want but it works for me..And it does not create a new note . brings up note with existing content..
I am quite disappointed in the note 2 software compared to the note 10.1.. Note 10.1 has way more features. And seems to be faster...
Good Luck
I actually wanted the pop-up note that comes up by double clicking on screen use the S pen. I just can't figure out how to trigger that without the s pen. I want to create a shortcut for it.
I wanna trigger it just like the pop-up browser. Jedi Master have a shortcut for that but not for the pop-up note.
Thanks anyway for ur help. I hope someone knows how to trigger it. It would be very handy.

When I am dialing a number on the Note II with the phone app in multi-window mode, the phone app switches to full screen. Is there a way to prevent that from happening.... I want to be doing other things while I'm on the phone.
for that matter, the stock dialer app has so much wasted space at the top, it's impossible to see all the digits unless the phone app window is almost full screen... making it pretty much impossible to use it in multi window mode

Na no luck here, flashed skynote note3 and anytime I pulled out the s pen my phone would reboot. I was really wanting to check out note3 features for my note 2 but the gods deemed it a big no.

In the op he said to disable air command in pen removal because it causes a hot boot. There's a setting in spen you did need to check and it works perfectly

Anyway to get a zip to flash note 3 features for mk7?
Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk
I flashed the Skynote ROM and the aircommand.zip and got all the spen features. Also the eye scrolling worked in the Samsung stock browser. The hand gestures and finger hover features did not work though.
