My phone constantly drops calls on Vodafone (UK).
I got so fed up I put the latest stable Cyanogen ROM on it but the issue still occurs
I have also noticed that my status bar only displays the "G" rather than "3G" with the latest cyanogen even though I am getting 3G speeds. If I switch the phone to 2G only and back again then displays correctly.
Can you test on other phone signal strenght? Maybe it's weak.
If signal is good try some of sense roms.
For example

I had never drop calls on these roms.
Phone signal if full - it makes some sort of funny sound when it cuts off then hangs for a second or two.
I had the stock ROM which is sense and it happened a lot of the time.
How would a sense ROM help?
Hello,
I've tried some AOSP(maybe spelt it wrong) ROMs, and some sense ROMs, and in some I had a very, very bad WiFi signal issue. Currently I'm testing one out and it's always ar 1 dot or 2 max for 3 seconds, and then it disconnects, reconnects again. I'm barely 7m away from my router, maybe even less. I'm not sure how the signal was when I used Stock ROM, but I think I had 3-4dots all the time, now I'm loosing the connection a lot. I was searching for a good fast ROM(idc about sense really with this phone), but that issue is killing me really.
What would be the issue? A radio, kernel, ROM problem? Any tips?
Hi, I just bought my Galaxy Nexus because I've never tried a real Google phone and I love it. It is blazing fast and smooth. It ha sonly two big problems.
My phone on Jelly Bean JR003R with latest Franco's Kernel nightly 283 has a very bad wifi range.
wifi speed is good but the signal is unreliable. In the same place sometimes shows 2 arrows on signal strenght and one second after no arrows.
Is this a Jelly Bean problem?
Phone has also a really bad incall audio (low and not clear).
Anyone experienced the same issues?
Is possible to improove them both?
Thanks

Use this to make in call volume louder http://www.sendspace.com/file/ascuxe and as for the wifi, as long as your connection is still fast never mind the signal bars, especially if your right next to your router

With the latest build I seem to be getting a bug that whenever I connect to a WiFi network my CPU usage rises to 60-80% all the time, and the phone thus heats up. This doesnt occur on 3g/LTE.
Anyone else having similar issues? Or would this be a GAPPS issue.
Thanks
It happens the same to me, I tried with stock and Franco Kernel and it still happenning the same.
Hi all, could anyone helke with something?
On stock Sense ROM i almost always have full LTE signal in my city and rarely almost full. But when on LOS (be it Linage or Resurrection Remix) my signals worsens significantly. From almost full to yellow or red ststus signal in battery meni and it often changes. Additionally, i often see LTE+, is there a way to turn it off?
Thanks for help!
