Hi guys,
Just picked up this phone early in the week. A couple of issues I'm having:
Using stock/rooted Rom the phone will
(1)sometimes reboot after turning on Bluetooth.
(2)Google music will skip every few seconds. I thought it might be my internet connection but it doesn't happen on my tablet connected to the same router.
Using stock/rooted Rom & cm9 nightly I have noticed that the CPU fluctuates between lowest voltage and highest voltage every few seconds even when idle. Is this a common issue or did I get a lemon?
Thanks!

Sounds pretty much in line with this issue I had, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24179363&postcount=4 . I would also suggest getting a replacement.
Also what did you use to track your voltage/cpu issues? I would like to make sure there is no issues with my 2nd P930 before I flash CM9.
Thanks.

Thanks. I was using the stock LG applications manager app. It shows CPU%. On cm9, I was looking under the performance settings where it shows current CPU voltage.
Taking it back today. I really want to love this phone. Hope I get a good one.
I've been having this weird issue that when I use my nexus as a wireless adapter for my computer (turn on wifi and enable usb tethering), the performance of the wireless connection significantly degrades when the devices screen is off.
For example, I play an RTS game that is very latency dependent, and when the screen is off my ping rockets up to around 600 ms but when I leave the screen on it goes right back down to the normal ping for my connection which is around mid-80s in ms.
I've experienced the issue with the stock rom and with the liquid smooth rom, and I'm inclined to believe that it's an issue with the power profiles for the wifi or something (different radios have not fixed the issue).
Has anyone else had a problem like this and does anyone know if there is a fix? Thanks.
Radio has nothing to do with wifi.
Try a different kernel.

franco.kernel has a setting for this.
There is also a app ....wifi high performance that will stop it too.

It's not a problem, its a feature. You can fix this with custom kernels but the reason this happens is to save your battery when your not using your phone.
maybe this will help

As many of us have discovered, Jelly Bean has a lot of problems. If you have discovered a problem, please share it below. If you've discovered a solution to any of these issues, please share it below as well!
Issues in Jelly Bean:
1. Very Low Volume in ear-speaker AND speakerphone (at least compared to AOKP).
Solution: Volume+ app and Franco.kernel app. Unfortunately they only increase volume for music on the speaker only. Volume for the earpiece speaker/calls/ringtones/notifications etc do not improve.
2. No T9 (not an issue bc ICS had no T9 either, but still annoying.)
3. Low Signal/Download Speeds on new LF1 modem
4. Higher Battery Drain than ICS
5. Inaccurate GPS (50% of users)
GPS is off by about 200 yards! No fix that I know of yet.
Update: this may be a problem with the google maps update. May not be related to Jelly Bean!

#4. How so? My battery life is the same when compared to ICS... if not it's better. Using Franco Kernel r210.
#3. My download speeds are fine.... what radio are you using?

Weird... I just drove from Chicago to Upstate NY, with my phone as my GPS, running Liquids JB. Didn't have a single problem with accuracy.
My battery has been fine, GPS was perfect on a recent trip as well.
#2 is not really an issue, that's how Google intended it.

#3. I am using I9250XXLF1 on Rogers/Fido in a highrise in downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The download/upload rates are low. And the signal bars keep alternating between 2 bars and full bars. I need a modem that prioritizes the 850 band.
#4. Battery drain is about 2% every few minutes in active use. I'm guessing it is the GPS requirement for Google Now that is draining the battery. I read that people who turned off the GPS had the battery drain stop.

Really? Mine's accurate to 10 meters. In canada with GSM galaxy nexus.
Titanium backup corrupts some apps, Nova 3 doesn't work, MX player, Mobo Player, Dice player doesn't work (I'm currently using Super Video as an alternative). Flash is slightly buggy causing force closes, but it occasionally works (Videos stop buffering about 5 minutes in). Apex launcher force closes. LMT Launcher turns invisible if you rotate screen.
My Low volume was fixed by using team infernos rom. You can also try Volume+ to see if that helps. My download speeds seem fine also.
Edit: MX player has been updated, it works again

#3. Maybe your phone just dislikes XXLF1.. Revert back to your older radio. Radio performance varies based on the area you're in. Your phone possibly just doesn't like that radio. Maybe in this case radios with the prefix "UG" would help you.
#4. Sounds like it could be a app (or a wakelock) causing that. Open up Google Now and take some of the "cards" off that you don't need.. or set it to a lower priority. And yeah I agree with you, it's definitely using more from the GPS.

Where in Canada? What modem are you using? The new LF1?
Do you have a link to Team Inferno's Jelly Bean ROM? I can't find it.

I'm in Toronto Canada, with XXLF1 baseband. Using stock JB kernel.
I agree with point 5 could not get a lock on GPS today just bouncing round ground antennas.

I did a Zombie Run today which uses GPS (the app is called Zombies, Run! for anyone interested) and while it didnt plot my route as accurately as previous runs it seemed to track my speed/distance/route without issue.
I find battery drain very similar to ICS
Rogers in Toronto.
Signal, download speed, battery life, all good.
No T9 I don't think is an issue.
My problem is actually the responsiveness of the stock keyboard. It tends to lag behind when typing fast after flashing JB. On ICS, the keyboard was perfect and responsive. Sometimes it even misses touches. Other keyboards, like swype and swift key 3 don't do this.
Running all stock JB. Kernel, ROM, XXLF1 modem, LC03 boot loader.

I'm having the GPS issues also. So far only took 1 trip with it, but my location was about 100 yards off to the west of where I actually was.
Has anyone had issues with TiBu? I tried to restore data for some of my apps, but TiBu FCs after I put in my password.
BTW, I'm using Vicisous V3.

#2 I don't really care tbh
#3 about the same
#4 yes I have this , maybe because of Google now
#5 no, not at all

I've had both accurate and inaccurate GPS with jellybelly (off by a block consistently) Not sure what is causing it but it looks like it is picking up satellites just fine.
Has anyone mentioned the low MMS quality? Limit prob needs to be raised to 1.2mb
Hey all,
Today all of a sudden the vibration strength when received phone calls or messages has decreased significantly.
I received a call just before with the phone in my hand and could barely even feel it.
Is there any reason this should have happened? It was fine yesterday/last night.
I checked settings and can't seem to find anything different to normal.
I am running Paranoid Android 2.15 and Trinity 35
Thanks
This is due to the kernel, but you can set the intensity of the vibration using Trinity Kernel toolbox, you can find it in the play store

I am out US on wifi only and there are a few issues i noticed. Im wondering if anyone else has the same problems.
1) If the phone is restarted it shows a full 4 bars when connected to wifi. Once the phone goes to sleep and has been sitting for a while then when I unlock the screen it says I have one bar and it performs that way. Toggling the wifi on and off has no effect the phone must be restarted to get the signal back strong.
2) The wifi reception overall generally seems weaker on my G than on other devices. In certain areas wife's Galaxy SII and my iPad both have signal of 2 bars and the G has nothing plus my G keeps disconecting from the wifi.
3) Power saving mode when the phone is down to the last 30% it turns off the wifi and turns on the LTE. Shouldnt it be the other way around!
Thx,
Mark
