Can't hear the person speaking when I lose 4g connection - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Anytime I lose 4g connection during a call all of a sudden I can't hear the other person speaking but they can hear me. Do anyone know how to fix this it.

[Q] My EVO's Attention Deficit Disorder (AKA..ADD)

I live in an area surrounded by trees until I go up the street a little bit. Well the trees kill sprints reception by a lot, so we *****ed and moaned to sprint and they sent us a free Airave. Well the problem I am having, is my EVO CONSTANTLY switches from the very little reception coming from a tower that may be a mile away, and the Airave, Then back again. This process makes it damn near impossible to send and receive mms because it will jump from one to the other while its trying to send. and every time it jumps, 3G disconnects, and has to reconnect then try sending the picture again and once it starts sending again, IT JUMPS BACK,disconnecting and reconnecting 3G again.(This is a neverending loop) This happens with receiving as well. My question, is how to make this stop and use ONLY the Airave when it is in range.
I don't think many people have an AirWave to help you with this. Might want to try calling Sprint's Tech Support and then asked to be transfered to a supervisor or Level 3 Tech Support for some answers.

[Q] Sprint Airwave and Boost Mobile EVO

So I was looking through Craigslist while I wait for my morning reports to come in here at work and I couldn't help notice a lot of people are selling their Sprint Airwaves and I started to wonder. I was wondering if anyone that's using Boost Mobile got this magical device "Sprint Airwave" to work with their EVO??
Just a heads up for those "forum lawyers" or "mini moderators" or whatever you want to call yourselves, I'm not here to start up a legal or illegal debate about the EVO being on Boost Mobile or anything like that.....I'm just trying to see if someone has got it to work, NOTHING MORE....NOTHING LESS!!
Oh and if you don't know what the Airwave is.....

I have an airrave and my boy has a Boost Evo, great reception when it comes in the house unfortunately he can neither make or receive calls. I have to take my airrave off line for him to be able to use his phone in my house. I have the Airvana model

OK thanks!! One thing I'm still wondering....I know you said he wasn't able to make or receive phone calls but can he access the internet via 3G and if so, how fast were his speeds??
I'm almost positive the airave will ONLY work with sprint phones, not phones flashed to boost.
If he gets good reception in doors or has a wifi connection, you could always set up his phone with GrooveIP to send and receive calls. I do this to have my phone, tablet, etc ring when I get a call.

Outgoing calls going to busy signal

Recently I have had almost every outgoing call I make go directly to a busy signal. This usually last for an hour or two before I can make any calls. Is anyone else having this issue with there phone?
Honestly I don't know what I am paying sprint for anymore I can't make phone calls and when I do they are so broken up it's nearly impossible to understand what anyone is saying or the call with just drops, incoming calls never show up I just get a text telling me I have a voicemail an hour later with no missed call, the 4G data I get is usually below 50kbps which I would be better off buying a damn 56k modem oh and 3G is nonexistent I ether have 4g or 1x.
I got sprint in a rural area of NY knowing I would be moving here to Portland, OR and figured these problems wouldn't exist in a major city but in fact they are all worse here! Their maps claim I am in a best coverage area for both voice and data but the reps when asked ether claim there is a problem with the towers, tell me I am in a poor coverage area or tell me to take my phone in for service which this is my 2nd device both showing the same problems.
Does anyone know if I can demand they terminate my contract without being charging the ETF due to them not holding up their end of the contract which is to provide me with service. I love having such an amazing device and thanks to sprint not providing me with service I'm only being able to use it as a paper weight.

I had this same issue but after a PRL and profile update I was good to go. Hopefully it works for you!

[Q] Does your phone go ding ding ding when making a phone call?

After I select the person I am going to call right before it calls them my phone makes a ding sound 3 times then calls them. My last phone also did that and I thought at the time that it was a glitch because it didn't used to do that. Anyone else have this ding sound? It's so annoying.
You have an airrave unit?

I'm going to say no because I've never heard of that.
In home repeater for cell signals.
Sounds like someone near you does.
try dialing *99 and see if it says something like "You're now within airrave coverage"
If so, then you're connected through someone else's airrave near you.
Mine does the same thing. However, it is from the Sprint Airwave Unit. If you don't have an Airwave at your house, maybe one of your naeighbors do, and somehow your phone got added. Hey free minutes, right!

I dialed *99 and got that recording. That is strange because I've moved recently and where I was living it did that. I'm also about 50% sure that it does it at my work which is father away. Seems like Houston and surround areas is airrave coverage.

no, the Airrave units are personal devices. The new model (airvana) is sprint owned but loaned to the user, the older model by Samsung is user owned.
I wouldn't worry tho, that's all it is. It'll get you better signal.

VoLTE Quality

How is everyone's experience with VoLTE? To me it sounds like there's an odd buzzing whenever the other person speaks. I used to have similar issues on my last device when HD calling was turned on. It sounded tinny and I couldn't stand it.
I haven't had any issues with sound quality and for the most part almost all the calls I make and receive are through VoLTE. The quality is highly dependent on the network's signal and available bandwidth on the cell tower.
NO issues here either
What carrier are you getting VoLTE on? Mine was no go on AT&T and I had to return the phone.
