Problem with the usb slot... Need Help...!!

Few days ago I charged my HTC One X wid micromax charger... The phone was charging as it does with HTC charger...
But I have a problem now dat the phone gets charged, but when i connect it to my computer it does not show any connection and just gets charged...
My phone is in warranty, but as i hav rooted it, warranty will be void I guess...
As it does not connect to computer i cannot unroot it...
Any solution for this problem ???
How can I unroot HTC One X without computer connection ??

have you tried a different cable, and a different computer?

when connected try adb devices, see if it shows connected.
i think you'll need to make sure settings>developer options>usb debugging is enabled.

Try settings > connect to pc, check nothing's changed

Tried a dozen of cables, but still it has the same problem... I have tried adb devices, but it does not show any device connected... Usb debugging is enabled, HTC drivers are also there...:crying::crying::crying::crying:
Can I unroot without USB cable so I can at least give it to the Service Station ????

i'm not sure that you can do it without fastboot.
did you also try another computer?

Yes I hav tried to many computers still its showing only charging...
So any other solution for my problem ???

Got the same problem here, but only used the official charger. Still it can charge but isnt able to communicate with a pc in any state, adb, fastboot, htc sync, disk drive etc.

A solution that worked was to press the power button for 10 seconds (whether or not connected to a PC) then try again.

thanks but that is not working. even in hboot when i connect the usb cable, the phones states "fastboot usb" but still isn't discovered by any pc using "fastboot devices" command. Tried 4 different computers with windows and 2 with linux (ubuntu and fedora). so i guess its a hardware problem with the socket or the motherboard.

[Q] USB - SD Card Connect not working :/

How the hell am I supposed to access the files on my SD Card through my PC ?
I already installed Kies but whenever I plug in my Note 2 I am getting the message "Missing Hardware ID".
Anyone ? Would appreciate any help as I am trying for nearly an hour to get this to work ...

KIES broke my connection too.
I tried everything, but keep getting the "Hardware Id Missing" message from Windows.
I removed Kies, all drivers, all USB devices. Installed the Samsung USB drivers from the Galaxy toolkit (version 1.5.9.0)
Still, I get this error and the device cannot connect.
I wished I knew that Kies would f*ck up the drivers; I still don't know what to use Kies for anyway.
In USBDeview I see this for the USB driver:
Device name: Port_#0001.Hub_#0002
Device type: Unknown
Version: 2.9.503.726
Description: SAMSUNG Mobile USB Composite Device
Service Description: SAMSUNG Mobile USB Composite Device Driver (DEVGURU Ver.)
I tried everything I found on the internet (and especially here on XDA) but nothing works.
Please help me with this severe problem!

Airdroid only works when on the same network. But, our business Wifi is on another network (for security), so it would have to connect via Internet.

Google search for this apk SGS3_Easy_UMS. There is a thread in somewhere. If your phone is rooted then this apk will work on your N7100. I am using it and it works fine for me.

I just installed AOCP 6 on my HTC Desire HD but whenever I want to connect my phone to PC with my usb cable, it only recognizes it as charger and it doesn't show me any option to connect it to the PC. Is there any fix for this?

Close this, the fault was at my pc I made a system restore for four days and now it is working.

Where is this aocp 6? Got a link? Never heard of such rom

Duh..nvm. Lol

Ahh..nostalgia...I flashed this again for old times sake..back then this ROM fc and random reboot a lot. But CED fixed it. Thanks again CED..we miss u here in our device forum..plan in making a comeback?

Accidentally Deleted Bootloader.img,system.img...Cannot get into fastboot..HELP!!!

My phone was stuck in bootloop..
So while trying to make it work through flashing,I end up erasing bootloader.img,boot.img,recovery.img,system.img,cache.img through fastboot..
Now my phone is completely dead and my laptop doesn't detect the phone..PLEASE HELP!!!
I did read somwhere that mediatek phones could be detected on computer by shorting KCOLO gold point in PCB to ground..But dont know which is the KCOLO point..

Is bootloader.img partition required for the phone to be detected by the computer..?
Becoz my pc and sp flash tool is not detecting the phone..

Cannot find those points..
D+,D-,VBUS,KC0,KC1,PK,TX0,TX1,RX0,RX1,batch,VBAT,GND are the only named golden points..rest are unknown

Try install miracle thunder box on ur pc and enable usb debuging from moracle @MotoG4PlusNewcomer
