Playing it right now, running Bubby's CM7 Kang. The controls are likely the best controls I've ever used in a high end game on an android phone. Easy to use, great location on the screen. I'm blown away.

It works the screens I posted were / are from me playing it. As said above this the controls are honestly freaking nice and very responsive. Have to admit I was on the fence when I read about them making this but damn I loved this game back then finding a new love for it now on my phone lol.

i got it working. I hand to redownload the game data! This game brings back so many memories. Now where are the cheat codes!
I had to buy it off my tablet then titanium back and it work good too. It kept saying not compatible with my phone but after playing it for almost 30 minutes i gotta say its cool.
Any one know of an alternative method to buy this game? Show incompatible for me too...

Please post your rom/kernel so that we know what works.
I am on Stock EL13 DeOdexed with EK02 kernel and it just closes immediately after files were downloaded and will not launch. Going to try to go back to EK02.

I take that back, I found a fix. If it stops at any time during the download, delete the data files in /Android/data for GTA3 and start the download over. Let it complete the download in a single try and it now works perfectly.

I like the hardware but this loss of service thing is annoying.
Has anyone determined if this is a software issue? Sprints network isnt great but my evo 3d fares much better.
Ive read around on the internet and I THOUGHT I read a post that mentioned a user reverting to EG30 which solved his/her problem. Only thing that isnt positive is whether the user reverted to software EG30 or baseband EG30.
Any insight into this issue, how to revert to an earlier software version? Ive tried various radios but not software. I appreciate your time.
I'm having same problem....my evo 3d had no problem with Los but my e4gt is terrible where I live.....I was told to try different modems but I tried FCO7 AND FC14 still the same.

Ok, maybe that is incorrect.
Just using it, for example sending a tweet or an email, one may send immediately. Then if I choose to refresh or send a second tweet/email right after, the transmission arrows dont light up for a while. Its like the radio is going to sleep way too fast and it takes even longer to wake up and complete the transaction. Enabling/disabling fast dormancy doesnt seem to make a difference.
Edit: under these conditions, I never get the "no signal" icon. Just seems the radio is sleepy

Keep trying different modems man, I used to get some ****ty service with EL29 on this phone but on FC18 I get some crazy speeds, with very little reception.

Los on this phone is when you have a circle with line thru it the only thing that fixed that was reboot sometimes toggle airplane mode but they fixed that long ago . Now some ics had similar problems but had a lot to do with your signal strength...

Yes currently on EL29 Gingerbread. Phone is stock. Update does not tell me if its build FF18. It only says it Android 4.0.4 update.

Not a boost user but have seen posts from users where flashing / updating doesn't wipe settings.
If it would, then theoretically a nandroid would take you back.

Anyways from what I have found is that no rom I have flashed on this phone has messes up the radio settings where all the carrier settings are stored. You should be fine. But that being said flash at your own risk ha.

MR 4 means Maintenance Release 4.
It's their 4th maintenance release for the phone.
I think it went EL26 -> EL29 -> FF18 -> FH13. were all OTAs

FH13 fixed my ICS battery problems..... not sure about anyone else. I had almost 4 hours of screen time yesterday before it died.

As long as the "core" apps are in place and all you did was root, according to the sfhubs threads with one clicks, you'll get the ota.
That being said - being rooted alone, people have failed at getting ota pushes.
If you really want ota, best bet is to go back stock and unless anyone can say different, that means going back to ek02..

Actually, Live Wallpapers used to scroll left and right when moving through home screens. Samsung removed that feature a couple of updates back. I think a certain fruity company says they own the patent or something. They seem to own everything else.

Had my E4GT for a while now, came with FF18 2.3.6, then did the OTA 4.0.4 FL27, then went through FL24. Then I got sick of waiting for JB, so I threw GA10 4.1.2.
I messed up, because I Rooted, installed AGAT, then flashed the ROM on the phone. However, when I flashed either the ROOT or Recovery, the modem or something got messed up.
The phone will freeze, and reset if 4G or 3G radio is on. So my question is, what did I do wrong? And how can I fix it.

Well first off FF18 was 4.0.4 not 2.3.6. FL27 is JB and not OTA that was FL24. Anyway, what modem are you running at the moment?

I don't know what my modem is. I'm going to try to turn 3G and 4G off fast enough before my phone freezez to confirm it's not 2G as well.
How do I check? As it sits, it has OTA FL24 4.0.4 + ROOT and AGAT recovery.

If you want to go back to GingerBread then go to this

That will take you to the stock ROM repository where you can find every ROM official and leaked if I'm not mistaken.... You'll probably want EL29 so just find it there and download the version you want to use i.e one click, zip etc..

It is. My main reason for wanting GB again is I think GB was fantastic. Sure it's not JB, but it combined solid performance, with good battery life.
ICS is buggy, GA10 gets horrid battery life. 2.3.6 works....

Absolutely. Just when it starts up, it works fine for about 10-15 seconds then freezes. GA10 didn't do this. This freezing only happened when I had the root and AGAt on it (I messed up one of these, and I assume it's modem issues?)
IF so, if I flash the EL29 package with the modem, it should fix my problem?
Also, it doesn't really matter...but will it make the yellow triangle and ODIN flash count go away?

Now I'll just be happy with it..
I tried AOKP 4.1.1, which ran HOT and had many issues (For me)
Then I tried AOSP 4.1.1 Alpha 6 (Fantastic, but horrid battery life)
GA10 (Best I've tried, but horrid battery life)
2.3.6 OTA is my favorite so far.
Yellow triangle is gone... XD

There are plenty of good ics ROM's. If I may suggest if your a big battery person Blazers ics ROM, not to much to customize, but if you like customization then I would suggest Blu Kuban
