I cannot Install any Non-Sense roms on my HTC One X, I honestly forgot which procedure I used to root and unlock my phone but I remember a message similar to "After this, you will not be able to install any non-sense roms". At the time i did not know the difference between a sense and non-sense rom so i did not care for that message, but I was able to root and workaround phones, now when I install any Non-Sense rom I get stuck at loop boot, tried 3 different non-sense roms.
What is the procedure to unroot the phone and restart allover again to be able to install any rom I want? Sense/No-Sense?
Thank you.

You have an updated hboot version, abd it is not possible to downgrade it.
You can, however use a modded boot image to install non sense roms.
(at least on cm10)
And you wont be able to use gps.

Phone was rooted with CWM, wanted to flash the Revolution HD 10,
got boot loop.
Tryied to flash the .img again, used the wipe script again,
reinstalled Revolution for several times with differnet settings,
still doesnt work.
So what to do about this?
Is there a way to solve this?
And if not, I did a CMW Backup
before I flashed the Revolution ROM,
can I just use the backup again or
do a Factory reset to make it work again?
Thank you guys, sorry to open a new thread,
but I really need my phone today.
Greetings!
You need to update your hboot before flashing the Jelly Bean sense roms and it's not possible for all phones, try this tool and get 11.1 while you're at it.

So, i flashed several HTC DHD before, so i have the knowledge on the how-tos. BUT when it comes to my new HOX, i've read that upgrading ICS to JB needs to have CID listed, which i didn't find on any lists.
So the question is, Can or Can't i upgrade to JB?
This is my BL.

have you find out already what is your CID?
Hello,
This basically means that your phone is s-off (as it is given there) and you have super-cid. You wont find this cid on any upgrade threads as it is not an usual one. You are one of the lucky FEW to have a s-off device.
So you are not bound by any operator or region.
[TOOL] JB FW Easy Flasher & Fastboot Toolkit *Update Dec21* hboot 1.31/1.33/1.36/1.39
Just use this tool to upgrade your hboot. Read the thread and select the s-off process when you are executing the program.
So, is it a good choice upgrading to JB or are there more special features for my unusual phone (Oh, stop it, you :victory: ) ?
You can basically root and flash any ROM without losing warranty, AND you do not need PC to do that. It's a lottery win to have that kind of phone and I'm envious as f***.
Btw: those smileys at OP... LOL
Yes, that's exactly what i want, to flash a JB ROM, but i wanna know if there is anything i should do or pay more attention to, in order to get it. Should i just install from SD or do i have to do what anks kindly suggested?
cid 1111 s-off you lucky ba####d lol
Go to htcruu website and download the jellybean ruu. Plug your phone into PC and run the ruu on your PC. It will update everything to jellybean

I saw some guy lost s-off and got a regular cid, so beware. Not sure how though...

You can try Cyanogenmod, its JB but without sense and you dont need to upgrade your hboot for that.
ps: lucky one, wish i had s-off :good:
Hello.
I have received a new HTC One X today. I want to install android revolution HD (jellybean) however it states my CID has to be a specific one. However when i check it says None when i check via CMD and when im in recovery it says CID-11111111. Before i unlocked the bootloader it already said the CID-11111111. I have also been able to install CWM recovery. Below is further information.

HW secure boot: enabled (was originally disabled)
Any help or advice for flashing android revolution 18.1 would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
EDIT: Android_Revolution_HD-One_X_9.8 Installs perfectly fine. However i would prefer Android_Revolution_HD-One_X_18.1 (jellybean). But due to having superCID im a little confused on which hboot i should install. Any help anyone?
With your cid(super cid) you can install any rom...but you need update Hboot to flash jellybean . Use any firmware from any cid to update Hboot to 3.xx .

Thanks for the reply.
That's what i thought. However when ever i flash anything other than ICS within CWR i get error status 7. Also error on verification. Then it checks my CID and errors. I used an official OTA update: OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.14.401.27-2.17.401.2_release_298985n1wwcwzs385c0bvz. That's what i used.
Then i tried installing via pc. It also failed during the installation. Same as above really.
Am i doing something wrong?. Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks.
Another note: Even with the stock rom that was on the phone. When i try and update via stock rom it fails for the same reasons as above. says my CID is wrong. Even though i haven't changed it etc. It was CID:11111111 out of the box. I somehow don't think it is true CID:11111111 if it keeps failing on installs. The only thing it doesn't fail on is Android revolution HD ICS (9.8). I need some serious help please
FINAL EDIT. Everything is sorted. I had to change my CID because i couldn't do ANYTHING, even though it stated i had 11111111... Mods please close and delete this thread.
I successfully flashed CM 10.1.2. (JB 4.2.2) through CWM Recovery (v5.8.4.0) a few days ago on my One X. Everything was running smooth as a butter until i saw the 4.2.2 update for my One X... Then I decided that I will go back to stock, so I could update to 4.2.2 and enjoy Sense 5, but that's where my mistake was ;x. I started by flashing the stock recovery, then relocking the bootloader and trying to find a RUU that would be good for me. Then I found out that my firmware version was 3.20.401.1 and there is not a RUU for that version yet since it was released these days.. After that things went in a wrong direction as i flashed CWM Recovery v5.8.4.0 back and started to wipe the data, cache,Dalvik and stuff.. After i wiped those and tried to install CM 10.1.2 again i saw that my SD card was empty...I realized that the zip with the rom is gone.. so I ended up with no ROM. The CWM Rec remained, though, but I cant do nothing right now. When i turn on the phone, I get into bootloader and the only thing I could do from there is to get to CWM. My backup with cm is also gone.. so I am in a bootloop of which I can't get out ! The worst thing about the whole situation is that even my PC can't recognize the phone, as it says that Windows can't find a driver for it.. I have tried many drivers, including ADB universal driver,HTC Sync Manager, HTC Driver Installer and so on..
Here's the info from my bootloader screen:

I'm sorry to open another thread, but I spend quite some time searching and reading and I just can't figure it out. I recently bought a HTC One X (European) and want to put a custom ROM on it. My bootloader is unlocked, I have CWM installed, but after this I don't know what to do. I did a lot of flashing on my old HTC HD2, but this is quite different..
In bootloader, this is what it says:
*** UNLOCKED ***
ENDEAVORU PVT SHIP S-ON RL

CPLD-NONE
MICROP-NONE
RADIO-5.1204.164D3.31
eMMC-bootmode: disabled
CPU-bootmode: disabled
HW Secure boot: enabled
MODEM PATH: OFF
My CID number is VODAP102.
I know I should flash a custom ROM now (I want to flash the Cyanogenmod ROM), but I just wanna make sure I didn't miss anything. Should I upgrade my HBOOT? Is my CID number supported for flashing custom ROMS? Any help is highly appreciated!
You can flash CM simply by following the instructions in that thread. You WILL need to edit the updater script to enable the HBoot 1.72 version to allow a flash. Again, how to do this is in that thread, and referenced here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2425559
