Hello.
I have received a new HTC One X today. I want to install android revolution HD (jellybean) however it states my CID has to be a specific one. However when i check it says None when i check via CMD and when im in recovery it says CID-11111111. Before i unlocked the bootloader it already said the CID-11111111. I have also been able to install CWM recovery. Below is further information.
endeavoru pvt ship s-OFF RL
CID-11111111
HBOOT-0.94.0000
CPLD-None
MICROp-None
RADIO1.1204.104.14
eMMc-bootmode: disabled
CPU-bootmode: disabled
HW secure boot: enabled (was originally disabled)
Any help or advice for flashing android revolution 18.1 would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
EDIT: Android_Revolution_HD-One_X_9.8 Installs perfectly fine. However i would prefer Android_Revolution_HD-One_X_18.1 (jellybean). But due to having superCID im a little confused on which hboot i should install. Any help anyone?
With your cid(super cid) you can install any rom...but you need update Hboot to flash jellybean . Use any firmware from any cid to update Hboot to 3.xx .

Thanks for the reply.
That's what i thought. However when ever i flash anything other than ICS within CWR i get error status 7. Also error on verification. Then it checks my CID and errors. I used an official OTA update: OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.14.401.27-2.17.401.2_release_298985n1wwcwzs385c0bvz. That's what i used.
Then i tried installing via pc. It also failed during the installation. Same as above really.
Am i doing something wrong?. Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks.
Another note: Even with the stock rom that was on the phone. When i try and update via stock rom it fails for the same reasons as above. says my CID is wrong. Even though i haven't changed it etc. It was CID:11111111 out of the box. I somehow don't think it is true CID:11111111 if it keeps failing on installs. The only thing it doesn't fail on is Android revolution HD ICS (9.8). I need some serious help please
FINAL EDIT. Everything is sorted. I had to change my CID because i couldn't do ANYTHING, even though it stated i had 11111111... Mods please close and delete this thread.

So, i flashed several HTC DHD before, so i have the knowledge on the how-tos. BUT when it comes to my new HOX, i've read that upgrading ICS to JB needs to have CID listed, which i didn't find on any lists.
So the question is, Can or Can't i upgrade to JB?
This is my BL.

have you find out already what is your CID?
Hello,
This basically means that your phone is s-off (as it is given there) and you have super-cid. You wont find this cid on any upgrade threads as it is not an usual one. You are one of the lucky FEW to have a s-off device.
So you are not bound by any operator or region.
[TOOL] JB FW Easy Flasher & Fastboot Toolkit *Update Dec21* hboot 1.31/1.33/1.36/1.39
Just use this tool to upgrade your hboot. Read the thread and select the s-off process when you are executing the program.
So, is it a good choice upgrading to JB or are there more special features for my unusual phone (Oh, stop it, you :victory: ) ?
You can basically root and flash any ROM without losing warranty, AND you do not need PC to do that. It's a lottery win to have that kind of phone and I'm envious as f***.
Btw: those smileys at OP... LOL
Yes, that's exactly what i want, to flash a JB ROM, but i wanna know if there is anything i should do or pay more attention to, in order to get it. Should i just install from SD or do i have to do what anks kindly suggested?
cid 1111 s-off you lucky ba####d lol
Go to htcruu website and download the jellybean ruu. Plug your phone into PC and run the ruu on your PC. It will update everything to jellybean

You can try Cyanogenmod, its JB but without sense and you dont need to upgrade your hboot for that.
ps: lucky one, wish i had s-off :good:
I'm sorry to open another thread, but I spend quite some time searching and reading and I just can't figure it out. I recently bought a HTC One X (European) and want to put a custom ROM on it. My bootloader is unlocked, I have CWM installed, but after this I don't know what to do. I did a lot of flashing on my old HTC HD2, but this is quite different..
In bootloader, this is what it says:
*** UNLOCKED ***
ENDEAVORU PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.72.0000
CPLD-NONE
MICROP-NONE
RADIO-5.1204.164D3.31
eMMC-bootmode: disabled
CPU-bootmode: disabled
HW Secure boot: enabled
MODEM PATH: OFF
My CID number is VODAP102.
I know I should flash a custom ROM now (I want to flash the Cyanogenmod ROM), but I just wanna make sure I didn't miss anything. Should I upgrade my HBOOT? Is my CID number supported for flashing custom ROMS? Any help is highly appreciated!
You can flash CM simply by following the instructions in that thread. You WILL need to edit the updater script to enable the HBoot 1.72 version to allow a flash. Again, how to do this is in that thread, and referenced here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2425559

Thanks for your response, will check it out!
Hi everybody, hope this is the right place to post.
First of all, I'm not used to Android modding/rooting/flashing or other slangish word, I'm just a common user who followed a guide to root his HOX.
I already did my search and looked on the forum, finding nothing else but dead link or situations different from mine, or guides I just don't understand, so please be patient.
I rooted my HTC-One X, got TWRP with a backup (I know nothing about nand or similar), and the original rom, I just did it the get root privileges.
Today it has ben released an update (I guess it's OTA we are talking about) with new Android version and HTC Sense 5, and I really like to get that.
I download the update, choose to install, but when the phone reboot it ends up in the TWRP screen, and I can't do thing from here.
I read about 'You should get your RUU', 'you must get your phone to stock rom', and so on...but I just can't find active link and clear guides.
I'm pretty sure I did all right when I rooted my phone, with backup or recovery images. But I just can't find the easy way to get this update.
I don't care if I lost my root, if I had to reset to the very factory image or what...I just want to update my phone to it's latest software version.
Just hoping to find someone who want to help me out.
Some information I think might be useful:

You can't flash official ota through custom recovery...you need he stock recovery for your main version and also to be sure the stock boot.img then you could flash it otherwise not

There is one way just try it.
If you did backup stock rom befoe rooting ,do full wipe via recovery and restore that backup file, after that flash Philz_Touch recovery via fastboot, then check update againg and download it and then DON'T install it first, you make a copy of this OTA file which is in the download folder of your device and keep it in your PC.
When you open that OTA file, there is a firmware.zip file and extract boot.img file that you do flash via fastboot first, after that go to recovery and install the OTA file then reboot device ans it'ii be updated.
But your backup if after rooting it's not sure aboved way , anyhow you can try it. In that way of updating is cannot be upgrade Hboot, so try to update rom first & if success next step is learning for update Hboot.
Ok just noticed the following in fastboot screen:
M8_UL PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT 3.16.0.0000
RADIO-INVALID_VER_INFO ?
OpenDSP-INVALID_VER_INFO ?
OS 1.54.401.5
eMMC-boot 2048
The phone is working fine but something is not right? Did OTA 1.54.401.5 update with stock recovey couple days ago went ok so wonder if this update is the cause of this? Any idea guys?

Ok I will answer my own question, after doing some research on this issue in various blogs and forums including xda, this is a common issue, some say when you apply the OTA 1.54.401.5 will bring this missing info on fastboot screen which is what happened in my case.
Anyhow nothing to worry about the phone is fine everything works, it's just for some reason the version info is not displayed. The only way to resolve this is to flash official HTC RUU 1.54.401.5 but that's currently not available.
Hmm mine says the same except the line for OS reads:
OS-
In other words, no "1.54.401.5". Looking in About > Software version, it says 1.54.651.8, but that doesn't show in the fastboot screen either.

What recovery are you using?
This may or may not be related but I had the same issue when running TWRP. I changed to Philz and the problem went away. I tried this four times with the same result.
Phone was working fine just not showing OS in fastboot
TWRP 2.7.0.5. Don't know if it's related or not...

Same issue here.
Nothing to complain about on functionality though.
Waiting for S-Off to be able to update firmware...(I'm one of those who get the Whelp message in firewater)
Another one here. =/ Guess we all have to wait then.
Definitely related to TWRP. Don't know if latest version solves this though...

Well maybe. I upgraded to 2.7.1.0 and now the OS reads 2.16.651.4 (I installed the latest modded firmware as well).
Totally stock here. Have same issue so no fault of twrp
Sent from my HTC_M8
i also had this issue and tried various recoverys to no avail , however i recently wanted to s-off which was not possible with firewater so i used sunshine. To do this i returned to stock first , upon returning to stock all was fine again and i no longer had radio-invalid_ver_info etc
the same for me here ... no Radio, OpenDSP or OS Version.
TWRP 2.7.0.10 flashed ...
Using ARHD 10.2 ROM
But no matter which ROM I install I always need to turn airplane mode on and off to get a carrier signal after reboot ... anyone else experience this issue?
as i posted above , you should try flashing back to stock to correct the version info issue. Since flashing back to stock i have s-off latest firmware installed and custom rom and version info now displays correctly
Invalid_ver_info
My phone (HTC One Mini 2) displays INVALID_VER_INFO for RADIO and OpenDSP, too. But I found out that, when i boot into bootloader with no SD-card inserted, it says RADIO-1.101.1102.17.0506 and OpenDSP-v28.2.2.00546.0331. As soon as I boot into bootloader with SD-card inserted, INVALID_VER_INFO comes back.
I noticed this bug only after I had replaced the recovery with TWRP 2.7. So I can't tell exactly if this bug happened by updating OTA or by installing TWRP 2.7.
Besides that my phone is running perfectly, so there's no need to worry about it.
I need help!!
I have a Sprint harman/kardon edition. In the bootloader it says the following when sdcard is inside
RELOCKED

OpenDSP-INVALID_VER_INFO
OS-2.16.654.4

When I remove the sdcard it says :

HBOOT-3.18.0.0000
RADIO-1.08.20.0612_4
OpenDSP-v45.2.2-00542-M8974_HM.0422
OS-2.16.654.4
eMMC-boot 2048MB

As I have simunlocked the device for GSM use, It does connects to the carrier but does not start mobile data services. Under selling when I try to click on tab to "ON" . Immediately it says "Disconnected because service is unavailable"
I've already tried going back to stock by renaming harman specified ruu as 0P6BIMG.zip and flshing it through sdcard, it does makes the device go stock but doesnt seem to fix the above mentioned problem.
I would like to point out, it was working fine before I flashed TWRP 2.8.0.1 and a custom rom. I noticed that mobile data was not working in that custom rom, so I decided to back stock and now I am stock but mobile data doesn't work along with above mentioned status.
Please help.
Thanks
Hello, i don't know but accidentally S-OFFed my HOX;
When I bought, it cames in S-ON status (but with SuperCID 11111111)
Now, It says:

When I bought I upgraded to last official HTC ROM (4.18.401.3) (without updating to 401.4), first, I unlocked via HTCDEV and flashed PhilZ Touch 5.15.9 - HTC_One_X -attached- (since it's the only that works with my touchscreen and with I can charge in recovery, anyway I think USB mode not work, but for me, doesn't matter since I have flashables in phone already)
Then, I flashed the last kernel (PA3) from Alex-V (2.7 Classic PA 3 Sense 5), and "new_s2w_with_dt2w" -attached- and flashed ViperX 4.1.0 FULL Rom (obviusly first Wipe data-> Clean to install a new ROM in Philz). In the middle of the flashing, (next, next, next...I dont remove anything) the phone rebooted itself (I scared xD) and I manually powered off (~10 seconds pressing power off) to go again to recovery, I entered in fastboot and O_O I cared about the S-OFF
I share this because maybe in the middle of this steps is anything that s-off the phone
EDIT: Phone rebooted when selected "perform a full wipe" from VenomX installer
This is not useful as obtaining s-off. You already had supercid. We don't get accidentally s-off by flashing recoveries or roms. Wise advice....Let this be because it won't help us, really. Sorry.
Lol

Tbh, S-Off is merely just a status now. It's useless, especially since kernel flashing via recovery is now possible.

Read the development sections. Look for kernel lighter from thunder, or the multirom thread.
