Xperia S Brick ? - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

Hey Guys.
I just flashed my Xperia S with new kernel and something goes wrong.
The phone doesn't start. No LED. No vibration with Power+Vol Up or Down. Nothing.
I only get a red LED when connecting with charger or PC.
Can someone help me, is there a chance to get it back working?
/Sry, if my English isn't good, I am from Germany
Hope you can help me.
//Now, if i connect with PC it searched and installed the "QHUSB_DLOAD" drivers on my laptop, and flashtool says :

vol up and vol down pressed at the same time and then hold power button too, wait for 3 vibes 15 secs or so, run flash tool, plug in phone holding vol down, and straight away click on flash/choose rom.
If the phone closes... leave flashtool running, unplug phone, press vol up and down with power until 3 vibes, then vol down and reconnect, flash should start straight away and complete.

it doesn't work, i tried it many times. there are no vibrations. i just take out the accu and take it back in, but it doesnt work too

Try letting it charge for a few hours, your phone battery might be flat.

[Q] Emergency help of R800i!!

Dear Sir/Madam:
I've got a very serious problem after upgrade my R800i to 4.0.3...
here is the step I've found and did it:
1, Enable USB Debugging by going to Settings>Applications>Development and ensure that USB Debugging is enabled.
2, Turn off and reboot into Recovery
3, Use Volume Keys to navigate and Power button to select.
4, Now, when you are in recovery mode, select “Wipe data/factory reset” and “Wipe cache partition”.
5, Select the option “Install Zip from SD Card” and choose the zip package you copied to your SD card under the requirements section.
6, Wait for the device to reboot.
7, If you return back to the recovery menu, select “++++ Go Back++++” and select “reboot system now”
8, If the device does not reboot, re-insert the battery and take some pains to follow the whole procedure again
After the step 7, my Sony Xperia Play R800i will only shows the 'Sony Ericsson' logo, and that's the only thing appear on the screen...
So then I downloaded the flashtool 0.6.8.0 and the original ftf 'R800i_4.0.2.A.0.62_Generic' to tried to unbrick it.
When I kick 'flash' on flashtool, i select the right firmware and hold the 'back' button to connect to my laptop...
but it just keep saying 'aborted' no matter how many times I try...
the Sony PC companion 2.1 won't even recognize my phone...
i haven't use mobile more then a week...i was try many way by Google...no choice but come to here... sorry guys if you think I'm 'dumb'...
What should I do sir? Please help me!!I really don't know what to do now...
I tried to upgrade to : DooMLoRD-PLAY-GSM-ICS-4.0.3-ROM-LEAKED-v01
I tried to flash with : flashtool-0.6.8.0-windows
I tried to flash with : R800i_4.0.2.A.0.62_Generic
Best regard

theres your problem you need a different kernel for different roms (unless stock based - but even then you shouldnt format system) but to get into fastboot mode (to flash new kernel) you need to have an unlocked bootloader
sorry re-read it you didnt format system. try setting up flashtool and pressing flash without the usb in untill it prompts you to "hold back button and plug in usb"
Thanks your reply first!
I did that a lot too! just click flash, until it shows up to tell me to connect, and it detected me phone but aborted immediately...
I think my phone were unlocked bootloader because if i didn't...how can I got into the CWM menu?....
anyway....i spend €50 unlocked it without use it......if I can't fix it I'm going to hammer it and post it to youtube......(so sad now...)
I just did it again...

[SOLVED] Xperia Arc bricked, need help fast

I know this has been asked before, but I just can't find a answer. I am really new to this and just wanted to use cyanogenmod because I heard it makes your phone faster.
Ok, so I really want to get Cyanogenmod (should I ask this on they're forums?) on my xperia arc, it was rogers branded, lt15a, .42. So apparently it wasn't for lt15a, so I spent hours trying to find a working rom for lt15i .42, and finally I did it. So I flashed to it and root it and get my stuff off my titanium backup, and go to install cyanogenmod from the clockworkmod menu (I installed it from xperia cwm auto-install). I go down to install from zip, blah blah blah select cyanogen's .zip, and get assert prop error lt18i. That was weird, because on the zip it says its for lt15i, and it said lt15i before when I tried using my lt15a. So I read something on here that said to remove the assert prop stuff from the updater-service file or something, so I did that. I went to install cyanogenmod and it said it was successful and it rebooted my phone. It went to the sony ericsson logo, and wouldn't leave. I go to restore it using the PC Companion update, but it just says it can't detect it. So I go to use flashtool and none of them work. But it said to turn off the phone, obviously it wouldn't turn off, so I took out the battery. Now it just won't turn back on! Have I permanantly bricked it? I can't send it in, because it had root checker and stuff on there. What do I do?
Sorry for the wall of text
Didnt you take a backup before installing the zip???
If so...just restore it through CWM.

It took a long time, many errors, but I do have a backup in rom manager from before I started trying to use cyanogenmod. But it didn't work when I tried it before I bricked my device, and I can't access CWM because I get stuck on sony ericsson and won't let me pass
have you tried flashing a .img via fastboot? you say your device wont turn off after you took out the battery. However can you still put it in flashmode? getting stuck on the boot logo, for me it seems like you didn't use the fxp kernel.

If your software update fails, the phone cannot be powered on properly. When you press the Power key, the phone vibrates and for a few seconds the display either shows Sony Ericsson in grey, or a warning triangle with a yellow exclamation mark and telephone symbol.
The phone then turns off and remains off. To fix this problem, connect the phone to PC Companion again, click start under Phone software update and click on the repair phone link
If the update does not start charge your battery. You need at least 40% battery power to initiate a software update. Charge the phone and then reconnect it to PC Companion.
Don’t use hubs and docks, connect the phone’s USB cable directly to the computer’s USB port. Do not remove or attach any other USB device during the update.

Or if you can't install it using PCC or sus, try flashtool again, because the two sony programs will install drivers , too

I have exactly the same problem with 2 of my xperia S'es. I really want to fix this issue, because it's beginning to be expensive to buy one after the other. Always going into this without really knowing why.
Neither PC Companion, Sony Update Service, or Emma work to recover....
For now i'm following this tutorial : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2049813& :good:

Press and hold Power Button and Volume Up button at the same time
5 Seconds > Restart Phone
If that doesn't help, put your mobile to charging for an hour at-least.
Then try the combo again

I hope you charged your phone for more than an hour a-tleast. It might take that long for the LED to show up. Also this error might be due to battery being down. A phone with completely drained battery when connected to computer is just like USB cable connected alone.
I don't think drivers will be of much help. All the drivers are installed with PCC and Flashtool
though http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=631288&d=1308601930
Check it, or search the web for it

Z1C won't stay in flashmode

Ok so I've been trying to get flashtool to work with my xperia z1c but I can't get the phone to stay in flashmode. The green led lights briefly and flashtool detects a device in flashmode but after a short time it just drops out of flashmode and boots normally. I originally blamed windows 8.1 but have tried 2 windows 7 machines with the same results. Have tried the Sony z1c drivers package and the latest flashtool drivers - same result. I've searched on Google and found people with the same problem on different xperia devices but has anyone else had the same problem with their z1c? if so has anyone solved it?

So what is the problem? If the phone does not stay long enough in flashmode, try this:
Open flashtool
Click flash, and set up everything (firmware, wipe, etc.)
Now click on flash
After 30 seconds plug in your phone in flashmode.

Happened to me too. I just flashed it before it rebooted, once it starts flashing it wont reboot it'll finish the process. So no worries everything worked out fine.
Thanks for the responses. I'd previously tried to flash an ftf by putting the phone into flashmode first then pressing flash and it always rebooted before the files were prepared so assumed there was something wrong. If you prepare the files first then put the phone into flashmode then all is okay. Thanks again.

how do you boot into flashmode?
the right way is: turn off your device, open flashtools, choose flashmode, choose your ftf you want to flash and wait until finished,
push Vol- and hold it, then plug your device via usb to the computer, then flashtool does its job...

2. reboot your device
3. connect your device to PC (now it will be recognized)
