Updating to Stock JB - HTC One X

I want to know if is it possible to update my device which doesn't have JB update yet, with CID HTC__J15, to JellyBean without rooting my device or unlocking my bootloader using RUUs?
Is it possible for example to update my hboot and then download the leaked JB Europe RUU and install it on my HOX?

If your hboot isn't supported yet, you have to wait for the official update.

No your cid is not in the list of supported cids of that ruu. You can not install it !
In the 2.17 ruu your cid actually was supported in the RUU, but in the JB ruu your cid is not listed so you will end up with an error !

yes dude´, s-on is needed for it..
also u need an official RUU and the correct CID for it, the official belonging to your country . (, not supercid -cid1111-) for example, the correct OFICIAL cid for spain is HTC__34.

[Q] JB sense roms open to ALL CIDs yet?

I noticed on footballs onemaximus the CID list has been removed,
Does this mean you can now flash to JB independent of your CID?
Currently on Hboot 12.1000 so I'm guessing I'd have to update it. If I do update the hboot will my old ISC rom still work or will I have to flash to JB then?
Do you mean 1.12?
No, not all CIDs have it yet.

Bootloaderversion error

I have the following problem.
To use the newest Icecold jellybean rom I have to update my hboot. I'm now on version 0.94.
To do that I have to go back to stock-rom.
My CID is O2__001 and with getvar version-main I get 1.28.206.9 (In the past I had an OTA from O2)
And with that OTA my Hboot was updated to 0.94
Now, my problem is I cannot install the RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_O2_UK_1.26.206.2_Radio_1.1204.90.13_release_251230_signed.exe, because the hboot is different.
I don't know what the original hboot was exactly with 1.26, I thought it was something as 0.83.
I see in http://androidfiles.org/ruu/?dir=Endeavor that there is only the above RUU available for my CID and there is an OTA.
But I guess I can only install the OTA when the RUU is installed.
Can anyone help me out to get back to stock? Or another way to update my HBoot?
Thanks in advance!

Thank you, but as far as I can see my cid O2__001 is not supported. And where can I get the right hboot?

Wellll
Hboot is the boot loader, the one you go into by holding vol down and power hboot update can only be provided by HTC, and there's none so far. I figure you're asking for sense jellybean?
Ruu is ROM update utility, if you want to go to stock rom use this.
Cid is related to your region. You can use a ruu only with a specific cid

Just a brief of the question asked:
hboot
is the bootloader - sort of the bios for PC.
what it do - basically when device is switched ON, it checks the hardware, initializes the hardware and starts the Operating System i.e Android or Recovery when you select Recovery
For newer hTC device since the One series, the radio comes with the hboot.
For Jellybean update, the hboot rework the partitions.
How to check - reboot to bootloader you should see the hboot version written there. The latest hboot for One V is 1.18.0000
How to update - running a RUU or the OTA update released by hTC or manually fastboot flash the firmware.zip (with a proper method).
RUU and OTA
RUU - Rom Update Utility - a file released by hTC according to the CID.
OTA - Over The Air update released by hTC with patches to update the earlier software version according to CID
CID
Carrier ID also now is more known as Country ID. hTC released software version based on the country/region they sell the device to the distributors(not from where you buy the device). You may buy a CID for Asia in USA because the distributor sell them not hTC.
How to know your CID - download the CID Getter from PlayStore and runs it.

thx for info,
mine is 1.17.0000
- I wonder how to update that to latest version.
- is that significant or any different ?
BTW, already unlock, with s-on and CM10.
Mine is 1.17.0000 too,and I would want to know how I can update it as I'm not running official rom

You can update it only with the official ROM, the steps already explained above
1. CID Getter - to check your CID
2. Find the RUU to revert to official ROM or your stock Nand backup
3. If there is a newer RUU then your hboot.. running the RUU will update the hboot
4. If there is only RUU for your hboot - you need the OTA update after installing the official ROM

You can.t change your CID if you are not S-OFF. And for the next question NO S-OFF for HOX to this moment or I think in UK have some shops where they do S-OFF but you must to google it for this.
