Hey people,
Just rooted my HTC Desire yesterday and today my phone will no longer enter into the boot menu when I hold the volume down and press power.
Got a stable version of Insert Coins' Gingerbread/sense rom on there at the moment and it boots up fine into that and works perfectly, but yeah like I said I've lost access to the boot menu and am unable to roll back or anything like that.
Pull the battery out and try again

Go to menu/settings/power and select fast start-up or something like that. The new sense gb roms have a new feature that keeps the phone in hibernation.

Hi Guys
I'm trying to help a friend with a Desire.
Last night her phone just bricked, one minute it was okay then all of a sudden it came up with a screen that I can't remember. (Sorry). Now it's stuck on HTC screen. If I hold power and vol down and try to go into recovery, I get a black screen with pic of a phone and a red triangle.
Her phone is S-On, non rooted etc.
Is there anything I can do ?
Help would be appreciated!!
In recovery triangle, press vol up plus power. You can try factory reset. If not contact HTC to get it fixed under their 2 year ,warranty

do you want to flash a new rom or rescue the phone ?
Rescue the phone would be good although I know the data will be lost.
I tried to factory reset but no luck.

i could tell you how you can flash a new rom but i can not tell how to rescue the phone. as my previous speaker told, you must bring the phone to the htc´s repair shop. are your datas not saved on sd-card ?
I have see that HTC has made it real easy for us to mess up and brick our phone. My question is when you get a bootloop or get stuck in a HTC logo, how do you get out of it now becuz we wouldn't be able to take out the battery ..... How do we get out of it?

Hold down power, the 3keys will flash for some time. As soon as the screen goes of, hold down vol - for some time until you get to hboot. Its tough at first, but you'll get it.
