simple
restore the Nandroid from TWRP .. then Flash the Boot.img and Recovery.img then relock bootloader
you can do all that with : fastboot oem lock
or use this tool : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1676686
PS: bootloader can only be "re-locked" it can never be made to show "locked" at least for now !
thanx bro it worked now i can claim for warranty
No you can't ....it shows relocked not locked
but bootloader is locked then why???
It's relocked. Not officially locked.
I believe it just saves everything from being overwritten or something, but as far as I know with this stuff, you can't get it to be locked like when you first got it.

Hello guys, I bought wildfire s and before I unlock the bootloader and flash a custom ROM, I would like to backup my Stock ROM in case I want to put it back. How can I do it? I was trying to search it but I'm surprised I didn't find a thread like that. Thank you

You will have to unlock the bootloader and root your phone before you can take a backup.
Use too manager from mkt to take th backup.

And is it possible to unroot the phone in case I want to apply the warranty in the service?

You don't loose the warranty when you root. You loose it when you update the HBOOT -- the very first step in the process. After successfully updating HBOOT, it comes up *** UNLOCKED (OOW) ***, presumably meaning "out of warranty" but I'm not 100% sure about that.
Plus, with the registration process required to update the HBOOT, I suspect that they know that your particular phone has been unlocked, so flashing an older locked HBOOT won't even help.
The bottom line: don't unlock your bootloader and root the phone if you care that much about the warranty.
Can I still update ota if iv relocked my bootloader and put stock recovery on and flashed the correct ruu?

The best ...is to make a nandroid backup of your original stock rom, after unlocking bootloader and flashing cwm recovery, so then, to get ota, you copy boot.img from nandroid backup, put it in ur fastboot folder, flash it , then go to recovery and restore the nandroid, then flash stock recovery and lock ur bootloader again. And dont forget to backup ur sd personal date just in case.

I am also worried that I might not get OTA.
I have bought the phone from a not so big shop and everything seems to be fine with it (I have the menu on my own language, no service provider logos etc), but I think it was made for southern Asia: there is thai language built in for example, and a few apps, that I don't think are default (I have suspended a few)
How can I check if the phone has been tampered with?
Can I update to 4.0.4 & 4.1 manually somehow if I don't get OTA?
Hello everyone about couple of days I was having issues with my boths cameras on the device I took it to the store I bought it from and they fixed it and also update my device software version after that I noticed that now im S-OFF no S-ON that I was before and my cid also changed from HTC_044 (Asia) to CID-11111111 (supercid I think) and my hboot also changed from 1.36 to 1.39 I also noticed I get faster updates than the cid HTC_044 im know on 3.20.401.1 what does it mean ? that I get every update from every cid or faster updates ? or something else ?
thanks in advance

he can't... once you flash the RUU your phone becomes normal as pretty much every One on this forum... you'll only be able to go back to superCID only if we discover a way to S-OFF
Maybe you can find some more useful info here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2222115
but Im S-OFF so I will lose the supercid if I flash RUU ?
and I read that I dont have too unlock bootloader if I S-OFF is that true ?
Yes you need to unlock the bootloader before you can flash !
Edit :
You won't loose s-off by unlocking the bootloader. The possibility is there when you install a ruu.....
so how exactly S-OFF help me here ? XD
thatp pretty weird before i take my HOX to fix it was on Relock cause I opened the bootloader then relock to use waranty and now it says LOCKED no RELOCKED how is this possible ?
and how the technican made my device S-OFF and SUEPRCID 1111111 ?
That's something i don't know exactly, they probably have HTC certified methods of unlocking and relocking to fix certain locked partitions of the phone.

ok so if I want to flash rom I dont need to flash the kernel (boot.img) because I S-OFF Right ?
and if I want to go back to stock I can't flash RUU file because it will change my Super Cid to regular Cid ?

Lets assume that to be safe. Always do it via a firmware flash or a stock nandroid backup. Just to be safe.
And yes you don't need to flash the boot.img manually. But as additional info :
A lot of devs have taken out the script that flashes the boot.img when installing the rom. So with a lot of roms you still have to flash the boot.img with fastboot commands.
and one more question super cid devices (non rooted or bootloader unlocked) get OTA updates faster then other cids ?
and if I go back to stock via RUU it wont change my device to S-ON right ? and there's anyway to bring the Super cid back ?
I'm on an AT&T Htc one M8 and I have unlocked, rooted and S-Off(With firewater). Tomorrow I will be taking it into the store to swap it out due to a build defect.
So far I have backed up in TWRP, Titanium Backup and copied my SD card onto my computer. I just need to return to S-On and then lock the phone again and return to stock. Can anyone point me on how to do this?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2701376
Find your ROM in this collection and flash that. First restore the ROM backup in twrp recovery then flash the stock recovery (fond in same the same thread) in fastboot.
If you need to, remove Tampered logo from bootloader:
MUST BE S-OFF
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2708565
Locking the bootloader
MUST BE S-OFF
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2708571
Edit: did some searching and this is the command to turn s-on
fastboot oem writesecureflag 3
You should double check this as this is my first HTC phone that I'll be rooting so I don't have a lot of experience with s-off/s-on. From what I've read people say you shouldn't go back to s-on if s-off due to risk of bricking so be careful. Make sure you know what you're doing.

I'm not sure man. I returned mine to T-Mobile for the speaker grill problem and they didn't even turn it on. I'd probably return it to fully stock just in case HTC looks at it. I don't know why turning s-on back on is a risk. You might wanna ask around before doing it. Ask in the locking bootloader thread I linked maybe they can help you

That is not a stock rom, the file clearly starts with OTA !!! Get a new code via the htc dev site and flash it. When your bootloader goes from unlocked to locked it's probably bricked.
Flash a new unlock token if that doesn't work you need to send it for repair !
How come yours says endeavoru xa and security reset option?

Phone was getting restared continuesly in viperX rom and ledroid Rom and TWRP AND CWM said that can't mount sdcard/cache/recovery
so i thought re-lock and flash into stockRom is the only solution.and when i tried to
re-lock it its got locked and showing ENDEAVORU XA and security reset option in bootloader.:crying:
There is no ruu for hboot 1.73. You can't install anything. You need s-OFF but that's not available, only via payed services if threre is one near you !
XA is most likely some pre-test device as most devices, with different codes are.
So to sum it up :
Like i said, get it to a pro shop/HTC if you want to see it back to a working state.
