That is not a stock rom, the file clearly starts with OTA !!! Get a new code via the htc dev site and flash it. When your bootloader goes from unlocked to locked it's probably bricked.
Flash a new unlock token if that doesn't work you need to send it for repair !

How come yours says endeavoru xa and security reset option?

Phone was getting restared continuesly in viperX rom and ledroid Rom and TWRP AND CWM said that can't mount sdcard/cache/recovery
so i thought re-lock and flash into stockRom is the only solution.and when i tried to
re-lock it its got locked and showing ENDEAVORU XA and security reset option in bootloader.:crying:

There is no ruu for hboot 1.73. You can't install anything. You need s-OFF but that's not available, only via payed services if threre is one near you !
XA is most likely some pre-test device as most devices, with different codes are.
So to sum it up :
Like i said, get it to a pro shop/HTC if you want to see it back to a working state.

OK, you could Google it (actually, you would have found it sooner), but a simple explanation is:
There are multiple partitions on the phone for different purposes, like bootloader, system, cache, data... etc.
Without DevUnlock (see below):
S-ON = Security ON which means partitions are protected and cannot be overwritten, it's impossible to brick your phone this way.
You cannot root or ure custom ROMs
S-OFF = Security OFF which means all partitions are unprotected and can be overwritten, it's easy to brick your phone if you do not know what you are doing.
You can do anything
Then there is HTC's DevUnlock, which allows you to overwrite some partitions when the device is S-ON (for development purposes).
You can root or use custom ROMs
With S-OFF, DevUnlock is not needed.
S-OFF for HOX is not available at the moment or you have to be the lucky one who bought the device in a S-OFF state.

Go into bootloader:
Power down the phone, then start the phone up while keep holding the volume down key. You will enter bootloader mode, there you will find S-ON or S-OFF.
this as protect your phone.
S-ON : you cant flash cook rom or install some app that out of playstore or cracked sofware .

Totally incorrect,
with S-ON you flash cooked rom and install anything you want and even access root privileges. (but needs to unlock the Bootloader first to install custom rom and recovery and rooting)
With S-Off you can downgrade your software or brick your phone, most importantly without voiding your warranty at all.

To update your Bootloader Unlocked with One X and Root Do the following:

:fingers-crossed: Hello friends! I had done unlocking the bootloader and then did the Root to install other Roms. The problem is that after that, he could no longer update officially OTA. Saw some friends who are having the same problem I had before officially updating my X. One So here's the solution I used to re-lock the Bootloader and Root withdraws.
* Follow exactly the tutorial that actually will work! In my case everything went right! OK? Good Luck! Big hug!
To return to the HOX Stock Room and be able to upgrade that came out yesterday by OTA, primarily due to rebloquear Boot loader through Fastboot.
For this you will need the following files on the fastboot below to download
Archive for the Stock Room of One X for his method RUU (attention can not be any room has to be the same as your device or as similar as possible and with the Software Number identical to its X One (ex: 1.29.401.11) .
Example of a aquivo RUU: RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_HTC_Europe_1.29.401.11_Radio_1.1204.105.14_release_260491_signed
Was this RUU I used to restore my ONEX.
When you download one RUU it will be installed on your computer and then opened a wizard to install the Stock Room in its X One, the assistant has instructions of what should be done, only a detail inportante be with the One X mode Fastboot Ruu to use.
Ruu find any files here: RUU or try google.
http://www.filefactory.com/f/7cc7b2fbdd03c031/
try google
To find out which of your Room One X, go to "menu", "settings", "about", "information software, or being in fastboot mode use the command" fastboot getvar version-main "in command prompt fastboot .
Summary:
1 - Lock your Bootloader One X.
command to lock the Bootloader in fasstboot command prompt: fastboot oem lock
note that after boloquear your bootloader it will not be as locked but as relocke, but it is blocked.
2 - Install the file. RUU exe file that you downloaded with the original room and follow the wizard's own RUU (do not forget to use the RUU x One should already be in fastboot mode.)
3 - Install the update OTA that is available
Go to "menu", "on", "software updates" and search for updates.
4 - If you want to unlock the bootloader and do the root again, this follow my tutorial: Unlock Bootloader and Root HTC One X
download:

The recovery is same for all cids, search around in dev threads. You don't need unroot and relock, just stock recovery and stock rom with all the bloatware intact. Any changes to the rom will prevent the ota from applying.

You couldn't update because you didn't have the stock recovery and stock ROM. Locked/unlocked bootloaders and root don't have anything to do with a failed OTA update. You're adding steps you don't need to do.

Ok! These steps will be swapped for those on official rom custom rom. Understand? I tried in several ways! I removed the root, I lock the bootloader. Still could not get the update by OTA. simple
restore the Nandroid from TWRP .. then Flash the Boot.img and Recovery.img then relock bootloader
you can do all that with : fastboot oem lock
or use this tool : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1676686
PS: bootloader can only be "re-locked" it can never be made to show "locked" at least for now !
thanx bro it worked now i can claim for warranty
No you can't ....it shows relocked not locked
but bootloader is locked then why???
It's relocked. Not officially locked.
I believe it just saves everything from being overwritten or something, but as far as I know with this stuff, you can't get it to be locked like when you first got it.

he can't... once you flash the RUU your phone becomes normal as pretty much every One on this forum... you'll only be able to go back to superCID only if we discover a way to S-OFF
Maybe you can find some more useful info here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2222115
but Im S-OFF so I will lose the supercid if I flash RUU ?
and I read that I dont have too unlock bootloader if I S-OFF is that true ?
Yes you need to unlock the bootloader before you can flash !
Edit :
You won't loose s-off by unlocking the bootloader. The possibility is there when you install a ruu.....
so how exactly S-OFF help me here ? XD
thatp pretty weird before i take my HOX to fix it was on Relock cause I opened the bootloader then relock to use waranty and now it says LOCKED no RELOCKED how is this possible ?
and how the technican made my device S-OFF and SUEPRCID 1111111 ?
That's something i don't know exactly, they probably have HTC certified methods of unlocking and relocking to fix certain locked partitions of the phone.

and if I want to go back to stock I can't flash RUU file because it will change my Super Cid to regular Cid ?

Lets assume that to be safe. Always do it via a firmware flash or a stock nandroid backup. Just to be safe.
And yes you don't need to flash the boot.img manually. But as additional info :
A lot of devs have taken out the script that flashes the boot.img when installing the rom. So with a lot of roms you still have to flash the boot.img with fastboot commands.
and one more question super cid devices (non rooted or bootloader unlocked) get OTA updates faster then other cids ?
and if I go back to stock via RUU it wont change my device to S-ON right ? and there's anyway to bring the Super cid back ?

[Q] HTC One X update hboot CID HTCCN701

Hello everyone,
I have an international HTC One X with CID HTCCN701, and I would like to install CM10.1.
I am not a noob , and I have already installed a Jelly Bean ROM after unlocking. However, I am currently on hboot version 1.12 S-ON Unlocked, and I could not find a hboot that is for my CID which fits the requirements (Version 1.28 or higher)
Moreover, though I know how to flash hboot, it would be great if anyone can provide a method to update hboot without changing the present ROM, recovery, and data on the device.
Thank you!
P.S. Please do not tell me to search; I cannot find a firmware here for HTCCN701
Does anyone have a solution?

Yes, I think there is 1.29 RUU, but isn't the hboot contained in it not up to date?
And, I have already checked for updates when I was on stock ROM back in mid June.

Thanks, but are you sure it will just refuse to flash if it is a fake? Because I saw on the forums that if a wrong firmware is flashed, the device could be bricked.
Another question is that is it possible to upgrade hboot without modifying system and data?
