the screen still black but all function are working will
I test the touch and the preview of the screen by SnapPea software which make me able to see what screen display live
when i touch the mobile to the PC.

LG KS20 black screen

Hi,
this afternoon i was trying to flash the ROM of my LG KS20 when i read the combination to enter in the engineering menĂ¹. So i looked a bit through the different menus until i click on "Backlight On-Off" option in the "LCD Test" menu.
At this point, the screen on my LG turned off and now i can see that phone still working but the screen remains always black. For example if I click the power button on the right of PDA, the 2 button turn their light on but the screen remains black. The same is when i push the button of photograph machine...if I wait a few second and push again the button the PDA take a photograph because the flash work and i can hear the sound of shutter.
I try to hard reset the PDA, but all remains the same....what can I do???
Please help me
Thans a lot
Maybe you could try to install a software called "My Mobiler" (http://www.mymobiler.com - it's freeware). With this software you could access your KS20 through your PC and try to revert the settings in the LCD Menu?
thanks a lot....last night I found MyMobiler searching somethings for view the device screen on my desktop. After I installed it on my PDA (with some little problem to give the ok for the installation on PDA), I can see the device desktop and so I do the same procedure to restore the backlight.
So now all works fine.
Thanks
Have the same problem
but i not lucky... can't press ok on the black screen, can you publish screen with instalation on PDA to try locate the OK??
really thanks
On your screen, you should see the standard view of the installation process.
So, when you launch the install from your pc, you have to immagine the screen of the acknoledge of the install. try to push in the left corner at the bottom a couple of time, then you shoud see the today screen on your pc.
Same problem
I have the same problem, but I need to enter my pin, but I'm not able to enter it because I can't see anything...
And I change the USB settings in the engineering menu so I cannot connect with ActiveSync :S
Any idea?
Thanks a lot.

[Q] Desire Z and mobile internet problem

I have Desire z with the following problem. If I turn mobile internet off and then turn it on again I see the data icon (G or H) for a second and then disappears and it says failed. To fix this, turn off the phone, remove sim card, insert sim card and turn on the phone again and it works until I turn if off again. HTC support suggested that I factory reset the phone which I don't want to do.
Some background, the phone was bought from the UK and I did superCID in order to install official HTC arabic rom (installed) and am still on Android 2.2

Screenlock invisible after upgrading to lollipop

Hello
I tried updating using Sony PC Companion application after it had finished, i turned it on and waited for the upgrading processes it took a long time and my phone's back became hot *really hot* then after it had finished upgrading it stuck with a blank screen and didn't take me to the home screen i can go to the camera if i pressed the capturing button , i can turn it off/restart it take screenshots or record the screen but i cannot go to the home screen and access other applications i can't even go to settings or notifications all i can see is the notifications and the back button i can't click at notifications and i cannot enter a pattern/password this so hopeless
sometimes it shows me the message * InitialBootSetup isn't responding * but even though nothing changes it stays at the same way
infos you might need
My phone is not rooted , it doesn't have a sim card/sd card, usb debugging is disabled and it was locked with pattern lock before upgrading
i tried using android device manager changed the password but still no big changes just got the ability to access emergency calls
the worse thing is that i didn't back it up before upgrading :crying:
Hello?
I thought I was alone.
This happened to me when I upgraded my Z1C to Lollipop too. All I did was:
1 Turn the phone off.
2 Connect it to the computer.
3 Open Sony PC Companion
4 Go to Support Zone (That's the first tiled option in PC companion).
5 Select Phone/Tablet Software Update.
It will go through the same process it went through at the initial stages of the update process. When it asks you to unplug the phone, go right ahead and you're good from there.
May flashing System (Lollipop) again will fix that!?
I wasn't able to re-update it because it requires me to unlock the phone
and i couldn't do so because i wasn't able to see the pattern lock to unlock it
sadly i had to repair my phone through the repair option in Sony PC Companion app
this resulted in overwriting everything and losing my data ..
I'm having the same problem (new, un-rooted phone) but any time I try to repair my phone using PC Companion I get an error message about a failure in sony update engine (error number 302). tried 3 different computers and running as an administrator with w7 or xp compatibility mode but i got the same error every time.
what can I do?
EDIT:
flashing a new firmware using flashtool solved the problem.

Blackscreen after lollipop update

So I just bought my z1c. Everything went fine until I got a notification to update my phone to Lollipop. After all the updating and stuff, my phone turned on. I saw a language selection screen popping up for a split second and then my phone went black with a visible status bar at the top, which I can't slide down. When I lock and then unlock my phone, I see the language selection screen and get transfered to the blackscreen with a visible status bar. I already tried to connect the phone to my PC and fix everything with PC Companion, but it asks me for my screen to be unlocked in order to work. PLease help
same problem
hi. i m facing the exact same problem. did you get it fixed?
too
i too have the same problem as discribed.
Did anyone find a solution for this?
---- update -----
I was able to find a solution to the problem via
Sony PC Companion > Support Zone > Software Update > repair phone
All the content in the internal memory is lost (not the SD Card) but the phone was updated one more time and is now 100% functional
Of course it would be best to update your information regularly, especially before upgrading.
Maybe it would also work to access the phones content via USB before repairing - I did not try to do it
Hope it helps

Question Realme C21-Y RMX3263: hard reset - factory reset with black screen / no button

Hello,
sorry to write here, I cant find the C21-Y section.
Direct question: is there a way to perform a factory reset not having the possibility to do it using the combination VOLD DOWN + POWER BUTTON and NOR using the standard Android UI?
Note, not activated debug mode
For more details see here below
I recently did a factory reset in "normal way", I mean using the standard Android user interface through normal menu.
Then, I changed only 3 things (without considering the minimum settings required at the first boot): show battery percentage, start black user interface menu and then after selecting the high contrast display... the display became black.
The display is responsive, because the phone vibrates if I touch in the position of the 3 buttons (back, multi, back).
Then, waking up the phone I can see the black smoothing on the display (hoping to make myself clear...) and I'm able - fortunately - to switch OFF the phone (basically touching the display in the right position and swiping to back, after holding a little the phisical on-off button).
Then, the display is working in the boot sequence (I can see the Android logo and the Realme animation): it stops once the Android system is loaded.
So, I tried booting the phone with the combination VOL DOWN + POWER BUTTON but it doesn't work... It seems an issue that afflict some pieces of this phone (read in some post, video I searched before writing here)
Well, how I can in this situation perform a factory reset?

Click to collapse
You should be able to boot in to recovery mode where the device is powered off state and when you use key combinations to do
Keep holding the keys even if you see splash screen, untill recovery screen appears
You can also try holding volume key and connecting to computer via USB cable, without needing power button.
Unfortunately with this phone (or the Android version installed in the one I have) have some issues and... butroon combinations are not working
I think I've tried in every way, different combinations. No luck
Both (button combination and black screen) seems to be "common" (search on youtube black screen C21-Y) and the only way is to flash it and/or force the factory from PC (I don't have at the moment understood if for thios phone the only factory from PC is working)
Being a sw issue I'm trying to intercept Realme support, before trying any flash or something similar... but after the first answer to my mail they didn't come back again
I just call Realme support for a similar issue on C21-Y. They tell me this model doesn't have a recovery installed and olny way is to send back to factory and they will provide a factory reset.
What a bad product, no words.
Follow this, it worked in my case (without flashing the phone)
