Stock jb rom and kernel. Updated OTA then flashed the jb root66 via Odin.

Here are the processes

Out of curiosity, what does it say under Settings > Battery?
I don't think it reports kernel processes there so it may be normal, just we've never seen it.
If you show cpu usage in dev options though you will see many of those being used constantly, which is normal.
I'm thinking that TW doesn't report it by default because its the kernel and will probably always be running more than anything else.
Its a guess anyway!

Everything else in the op looks normal btw. Except that its not reporting battery used by the screen...

I'm using an app called Gsam battery monitor (used to be badass battery monitor) and this screen is under the "app sucker" tab. I've always used this app to track my battery, and I've never seen the kernel use this much battery.

Yes it's all in the build.prop for both and I use 240. But you can use modded market with modded gsf to keep market compatibility. I have both those if you need them.

I think it can be. Just look in the build.prop for
ro.sf.lcd_density=200
Yours should be 320 if it's stock.

Does factory reset help battery?

My battery sucks. 2 hours on screen time. No auto sync, Bluetooth, GPS, and wifi/data are never on at the same time. Will factory resetting my phone help at all? If not, does anyone have any tips for battery? This is my third replacement phone because of bad battery.

Do a factory reset and do not download any applications. Run your phone for a normal 12 hour day. Use your phone text call surf the web than check your screen time you should get around 3 to 4+ hours. Most likely its an app draining yo batt.

It could also be an app causing this. I discovered this on another phone I had, the app was causing sudden overheating and battery drain. Are you using fancy widgets? That was one of the apps!

You might look into an app that can tell you what other apps are using the cpu in real time, one that you can set alerts

Best battery optimizations?

I am currently using the PacMan rom, it is an excellent rom, but I am not satisfied with the battery life I am getting with it. For some reason, when I put my phone to rest the battery gets drained dramatically. Any idea on how to fix this?

There's one problem with your inquiry, everyone uses their phone differently. So during "regular use" for me, my phone is under 60% in about 4 hours. There was one day where I checked my phone about once or twice an hour, and my battery was at 52% at a total of over 12 hours off the charger.
Main point is, what you may consider heavy use, light use, etc could be different than what I consider heavy use.

+1 for slim rom.
I tried PAC and it was great, but so many features I thought it slowed it down some and used extra battery. have been happy with battery on slim rom.
slim rom can be a little weird to install, but after a couple tries I got it running great.

Alright, thanks. Can you explain to me the concept of using a modem? I really don't know which one to use.
Never mind, I got everything to work properly on slim rom. It is truly amazing how seamlessly everything works. I am currently using the KL2 modem and it is better than the radio I got with the stock ROM.
