I have had some people PM'ing to do this MOD for a stock root setup so here it is. This will only work with Stock LG8 firmware.
If there are any issues let me know.
Flash with CWM or TWRP.
As always, flash at your own risk and make a nandroid first. If you you like it hit the thanks button.
Thanks,
Thanks bro.
Thanks for this, I'm assuming this is for a deodexed stock Rom? Or will it with on odex?

Should work on either I believe but mine is odex and it works fine.
Thanks worked great now if I could get rid of the am/pm. I know there's a thread but I need a flashable I'm no good with edited and recompiling files. I'm also noticing some sdcard issues since flashing this... apparently it's having random unmounts, either before or after rebooting the phone. I've never had this issue until immediately flashing this? Any ideas?

Thanks. I did it.
Working for now. Any possibility that Chrome is causing this problem?
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
I really dont know. Its never happened to me a single time. If it starts up again then all I could figure is its either another app causing it, or some sort of hw problem.

Out of curiosity, what does it say under Settings > Battery?
I don't think it reports kernel processes there so it may be normal, just we've never seen it.
If you show cpu usage in dev options though you will see many of those being used constantly, which is normal.
I'm thinking that TW doesn't report it by default because its the kernel and will probably always be running more than anything else.
Its a guess anyway!

Everything else in the op looks normal btw. Except that its not reporting battery used by the screen...

I'm using an app called Gsam battery monitor (used to be badass battery monitor) and this screen is under the "app sucker" tab. I've always used this app to track my battery, and I've never seen the kernel use this much battery.

Hey guys,
I'm running Jedi 3.3 on ATT, but lately I've been seeing fast dormancy wake locks come around. I've tried the app on the market for the GS3 which was supposedly compatible, but I get SQlite errors when I try and toggle it.
I'm assuming it has to do with the Saber kernel.
The *#9900# menu doesn't have an option to disable it either.
Any ideas?

Did you resolve this? I'm using clean Rom 4.5 and I am having the same issue with fast dormancy. I was able to get the app to toggle it on and off to work but it only made mdm_hsic_pm0 run even more.
Why not flash the new xpx?
