My battery sucks. 2 hours on screen time. No auto sync, Bluetooth, GPS, and wifi/data are never on at the same time. Will factory resetting my phone help at all? If not, does anyone have any tips for battery? This is my third replacement phone because of bad battery.

Do a factory reset and do not download any applications. Run your phone for a normal 12 hour day. Use your phone text call surf the web than check your screen time you should get around 3 to 4+ hours. Most likely its an app draining yo batt.

Or you have really bad cell service in your area that alone will kill (drain) battery
Good luck

I use Battery. It's design is a little iPhone esque (in the good way) but it tells you the percent and an estimate on how much time remains based on current usage. It has a 2x1 and 4x2 widget sizes

Try Battery Monitor Widget Pro ,
I've looked at a lot but this one had the best options and was clean. Hope it helps.
My vote is for battery widget reborn, too. I also use it on my Nexus 7 homescreen because the icon in the status bar is very small
I use GSam Battery Monitor. Great for checking battery usage and comes with a nice minimalistic widget.

Search in Play Store. And a thread for it is unnecessary. Sorry.
A thread for it is not unnecessary at all since it does fall under the "themes and apps" category.
The one I use is battery hd. I found it about a month ago and don't think I'll change it to anything else. Try it out, you won't be disappointed

It could also be an app causing this. I discovered this on another phone I had, the app was causing sudden overheating and battery drain. Are you using fancy widgets? That was one of the apps!

You might look into an app that can tell you what other apps are using the cpu in real time, one that you can set alerts

Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
Out of curiosity, what does it say under Settings > Battery?
I don't think it reports kernel processes there so it may be normal, just we've never seen it.
If you show cpu usage in dev options though you will see many of those being used constantly, which is normal.
I'm thinking that TW doesn't report it by default because its the kernel and will probably always be running more than anything else.
Its a guess anyway!

I'm using an app called Gsam battery monitor (used to be badass battery monitor) and this screen is under the "app sucker" tab. I've always used this app to track my battery, and I've never seen the kernel use this much battery.

Just make sure to completely wipe your data after update. And always check what applications running in your background that causes battery drain. Most of Note II users had a same problem because they didn't wipe their Note II after upgrade.
Yes I do factory reset... but still have battery drain.
There any fix without root??

Maybe you can perform remove bloatware by using ROM Cleaner after install a new ROM? And as I mention before, always check running background apps to see what apps "eat" your battery.

I was about to ask if the phone had been opened. the guy that fixed your phone probably forgot to plug in the antenna cable that's on the bottom right hand side of your phone.. you could actually do it yourself if you have a set of precision screw drivers.. very simple fix...
---------- Post added at 09:03 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:49 AM ----------
Your IP address is 0 because you're not connecting to anything. I disassembled my phone to show you what you need to plug in.. yes i know.. i'm cool like that...
i circled it in red.. the wire comes from top on the right hand side and plugs in right on the red circle...
ok, i tried to attach a pic but since i'm a noob on the board i can't... i'll try to message it to you.
