So, today my phone decided to disconnect from Google servers and never reconnect again. I tried clearing Google services framework, turning airplane mode off then on, rebooting. Nothing worked. I even searched for network providers. No luck. Icon remained gray.
I remembered an alternate apn for ATT that used to make my old atrix way faster than the default apn settings. As soon as I changed my apn, all was back to normal. I guess att will be eliminating the WAP apn in the near future. Anyways, see the screenshots for what worked for ME.

None at all. Make sure you save the settings then select it. Also, delete the original apn settings to prevent any conflicts.

Thanks, got a different one to work though. Of course after finding one I went back to my daily driver (switched to another nandroid to see if that was issue) and now the default works. Go figure.

Hi,
I am facing a typical problem that during every call if I swipe the middle white phone icon to the left to disconnect call, of does not work. I tried it multiple times. Can someone please suggest if I am doing it improperly.

I just tried to make a call from another phone to my GNex to verify and my phone is coming as Switched off. Whereas my Gnex is ON and I am able to make phone calls from it to others, but unable to receive any.
Does anyone reported similar issues?
I don't understand your problem. Your first post says you are unable to decline incoming calls. The second post says you can't receive any calls. Which one is it?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
I was just doing some tests to decline incoming calls and found the second issue. Below are the problems I am facing -
1. I am unable to decline / disconnect any incoming call. If I swipe the white middle call icon to left the phone vibrates but do not disconnect the call.
2. If phone screen is off for more than 1 hours (appx.) then I think phone goes into deep sleep mode. If I try calling my gnex from other mobile then a switched off message comes. This problem is fixed once I make a dummy call / send any message to other phone.
My phone is not rooted. I would appreciate the feedbacks.
Nvm, misread

NP.
I was just searching the forums but could not any similar thread on these problems. Am I doing something wrong or is it a phone H/W issue?
I've never heard of it before. If you're on stock rom the only thing to try could be a hard reset and if that doesn't help manually reflash factory images. If all fails, I'd return the phone.

I have few apps purchased, so will these be removed once I hard reset my phone? Is there any way to get them back without purchasing again.

Google play will remember the purchases. They are tied to your Google account. After you login with your Google account you can download them again without charge. Even on a different phone.

I'd try:
1) unlock bootloader (if you haven't done this already)
2) backup /sdcard

Good luck, and I obviously got steps 1 and 2 mixed up: first backup /sdcard, because unlocking your bootloader will wipe it.
I am not sure if it is bug but here is what I observed in past 6 hours.
There is network issue with gnex (phone is coming switched off intermittently) when Mobile networks -> Data Enable flag is NOT checked.
But when data network link is enabled there is no issue with my phone and it works without issues or disconnects.
I have still not rooted / flashed the phone.

Tmo is edge or 3g. A very fast 3g they call 4g.
Download battery monitor widget. Add the widget. Click the widget. Select tests from the menu on the bottom. Select device information. Scroll down and you can set radio preferences. Back out using the back button and it will save your setting.

I tried it, and even pluged it in before a reboot but nothing shows up on screen. I see a little flickering, but nothing else.
Also, are you placing "com.qc.hdmi_out" under "Property Name" or "property Key"?
you may want to add "true" o your directions, they are not specific.

For me, setting "ro.hdmi.enable=true" does the job. I tried your com.qc.hdmi_out line also, but found that I had difficulty getting consistent results, but devices may differ. ROMs earlier than 10.0.0 Stable often crashed after using HDMI, after pulling out the cable, even though the video worked well up till that point. But recent ROMs seems to be stable for me.
It is a frustration for me that those who (probably) know about the deeper aspects of this issue (why it was never turned on in the default configuration) never comment on it, so those who want it to work spend lots of time fiddling with it. On the teamhacksung site, a statement was made that it will never work because it involves proprietary code, but that was some time ago, so who knows? The fact that it works well seems to suggest that all the needed code is present and functional, so the mystery is why it is never addressed by the developers explicitly, or turned on by default, or have a setting to turn it on as Galaxy S had.

Known current issue with the rom. It doesn't handle the /0 folder properly. I just formatted my sdcard to fix the issue, then pulled my data back over.
This is only the 2nd public build for GNex that China has made, so there are gonna be bugs.

Is there any way to shut off those extremely annoying emergency alerts? I've gotten two rather annoying and pointless severe weather emergency alerts one at 3am & the other at 5am. And before you say I didn't look through the settings or search there is no cell broadcast setting or any way to disable them in messaging on 4.2.2. Any help is appreciated.

I'm going to make an assumption and guess you're using sprint? If so it has nothing to do with 4.2.2 and everything to do with your carrier. I thought I always checked that when building from AOSP...guess I forgot . If you want, you can probably dirty flash this rom. It's based off of the google image, so everything should work correctly.
Are you sure it isn't Google Now?
It's actually under the stock messaging app. Open messaging app and hit the 3 dots (settings) and choose Cell broadcasts. Then hit the 3 dots again and uncheck the alerts from there.

Sorry, I must have misread that last part in the op. That's odd. I thought all stock messaging apps had that option. Hope you get it figured out soon.
