ROM Manager - Clockworkmod doesn't support Note 2? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hey every1, ROM Manager - Clockworkmod Recovery doesn't support T-mobile Galaxy Note 2 yet?
When flashed it, it only asking for the confirmation of 4 other samsung phones, BUT no Galaxy Note 2?
Hmmm, TWRP works fine with the note 2, though.

Search and you would know we can use international version

Running CWM on mine. I picked the GS3 option during install.

Oh sweet, thanks!

Galaxy Note II International - problem with CWM Recovery
ROM Manager Premium is installed on my GN2 International and appears to work, I tell it to flash ClockworkMod Recovery and it tells it did it (I select Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 option). However, when I reboot into recovery, I get only the stock Android recovery, not CWM. What could be possibly wrong, as others seem to confirm that all works for them?

Same here (for T-Mo note 2).

You could always just Odin CWM into it...I used CF-Auto-Root (find the thread in the Original Development forum) and I rooted mine and my father's TMO Note IIs in under a minute. Was super simple

There is new version of rom manager and there is samsung galaxy note 2 to choose. Somebody try it already?

Why dont you just use odin.... and flash cwm.... im running it and it worked perfectly for me... I havnt used rom manager in a minute because it does not flash the correct recovery or rom 90% of the time.

Want to root my friends Sprint s2

But I am quite confused about the methods used here. There is a lot of chat about firmware that my friend doesn't seem to have. All I know he has ics. I.have rooted my HTC sensation, Samsung galaxy s3 and a nexus 7 with no issue. But this stuff makes no sense. Am I even in the right forum?

That seems like too much work. Don't y'all have a stock rooted Odin .tar.md5? And the process for installing recovery seems dated. Once rooted you should be able to install twrp or cwm through room manager or goo manager. Or am I wrong?

then this is your process:
download the rom and gapps to your phone's internal sd card.
2) go to download mode and ODIN this to your phone:

2) reboot
3) clear dalvik,cache,factory data reset

S III app work on Note 2?

Will an app stripped from S III phones work on our note 2's?
I have an allshare app in zip format that I can flash to my note 2, it came from a S III ROM. Will I do anything to my phone if I try to flash it with TWRP?
Thanks.
Back up your phone with twrp then flash it.

[Q] Questions about CleanRom - Samsung Account

Hi, I just flashed my ATT N2 to the new CleanRom Ace. The problem is that I do not have a option to sign in to Samsung account, and all my stuffs are synced to Samsung. I search the forum and saw something about 4LL and Samsung Dive. I'm new to android, can someone tell me how do connect my phone with my Samsung account. Thanks!
Download the Samsung app. You can find it in Jedi goodybag. Should work with cleanROM.

[q] avatar rom

I've been attempting to put avatar rom on my galaxy note II SGH-T889 all day today using CWM, but as soon as it starts it crashes??? Would anyone know what the problem is? or what i am doing wrong??? I really like this rom and want it to go on my phone but its starting to frustrate me. Thanks.
What do you mean as soon as it starts it crashes. Does your phone boot up with the ROM at all?

First, I recommend TWRP recovery I believe is much better and easier to use. I suggest downloading GOO Manager from the playstore and use it to flash TWRP Recovery. Then try to flash the ROM.

[Q] Clueless at the moment

Ive looked thru the forums i apologize if i missed it. Ive got a sprint samsung galaxy note 2 running 4.3 ive tried to root and install a custom recovery using the toolkit, but it doesnt seem to take the custom recovery. if anybody could please help me.
I haven't tried rooting since 4.1.2, but I used ToolKit to root and it installed a custom recovery. From there, I just flashed the recovery I preferred to use. Maybe be worth while try using ToolKit. I believe there is an option to just install new recovery.

So i know ive gotta flash one of these but which one? Sprint Samsung galaxy note 2 4.3
which ever one you prefer first. I use TWRP. Some use Philz, which is based on TWRP. From what I've read, it may be good idea to go with Philz over TWRP when and after converting to Android 4.3; something about TWRP not backing up or restoring correctly. Obviously there is still ClockWorkMod (CWM). I can't attest to it because I haven't used it in over two years.
Odin doesn't work either.....I've been having the same problem. Been wanting to root my note 2 for some time now but to no avail.

try using odin3 v3.07 to flash philz 6.07.9 that works for me
