Hello. I bought about eight months Gvshymv. You're just a tiny spot of white on black LCD door. But other colors right door. This is a very small point, I think it's a pixel. I want to ask is there a way to fix it?
No, send it while you have warranty

Bootloader unlock my phone so my phone is out of warranty

There is no way to repair the dead pixels? :crying:

Hello, i have massive screen burn in due to the persistent search bar...my question is...i want to give this phone to my mom but i would like to know if there is any way to reduce hide or make the burn in go away, i have experimented with some apps in play store and with some color tuning settings but no luck yet...can someone help?
I wouldn't worry to much about it buuut if it is extremely visible without you deliberately trying to find it I would get a warranty replacement.

Ok when I got my my phone in July about a month after the wifi went bad and I unlock the bootloader does the warranty still cover that
Thanks for the help

You should still be covered for hardware defects regardless of bootloader status

if you have unlocked the bootloader they'll complain about this... if you're lucky they will repair it for you, if you are not you will have to do it by yourself, which is better and less time consuming (15 minutes)
Will I get warranty back if I relocked bootloader? Thx

You won't get your warranty back.
But you can update/repair your device via PCC/SUS.

Yes after relock you can get warranty back. Now there is a way for that.
You may not get any warranty support if your phone's OS is crashed or phone is not booting up because of the unlock bootloader or hard brick.
But you can get warranty support for the physical damage, let's say you have unlocked bootloader but, some how your phone's display is not working, or you phone's speaker is not working, in that case you will get warranty support.

Sony's terms of unlocking bootloader is may void the warranty. It is may, and ofc may not.
But supposedly you're in country that can't accept unlocked bootloader, relocking it may change that. I mean, as far as I know, there's no conventional way to checks whether the drm is still exist or not. ofc there is brava engine and download music info not working, but there is a fix for that. Maybe there are other (non-conventional) way in Sony to check it, just pray that they don't do that. Lol..

If you have warranty on your phone, then you can just replace your phone by this similar (call to the Sony support about your wishes) or repaired.
In other situations you don't have other ways to repair or get same but newer.
My phone is out of warranty the warranty expirwd on 10/04/2013 so great.....
But if anybody has a good supplier for parts of this phone, then let me know... I can replace, but it is about 100$...

What would make the ZL void it's warranty...is it rooting or unlock the boot loader...
Can Sony knows that we root the device...is their anyway to hide that...if like a faulty phone and want to claim warranty and already change from root to normal again...can they detect that...

The only way to make the warranty work is to wipe your phone and install the stock Sony firmware

I don't think so but they can detect it if you send over the device.

I got my rooted phone replaced. Before sending to the service center, I made sure it was upgraded to the latest Stock Rom (and whipped everything)
