Phone number formatting when in call - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When on a call the phone number is formatted with a forward slash. Obviously a euro format. I can't find the setting to fix the number format. Anyone now? I used to know a number you typed in on the phone dial pad to open advance settings. Anyone know what up with this?

number format

another little annoyance.
sorry about all these but I think I've finally got everything installed the way I like it and now trying to iron out a few niggles.
is there any way to change the format of a phone number shown when I get called.
it always seems to be in the US format of xxx-xxxx-xxx-xx or something like that.
I always remember numbers as dialling code then number as in xxxxx-xxxxxx (UK format) 5 digits in the prefix and 6 in the number
which works for mobiles 07xxx-xxxxxx or (most) landlines 01xxx-xxxxxx
is this a change in the registry perhaps??

[Q] Voicemail number not being stored on my HD7

Hi everyone.
This is my first post here, but I've been reading the forums for a while now.
I have a question and i wonder if anyone else has had the same experience.
Whenever I tap the voicemail button I get a notice saying that my voicemail isn't configured and that i should enter my voicemail number. I enter the number and I get to my voicemail. When I do it again I get the same notice, so clearly its not storing my number. Does anyone else have this same problem? Or a possible solution?
I have the HTC HD7 bought from O2 in Germany running the pre-Nodo update. My carrier is MTN (South Africa).
The voicemail number is 100.
Thanks.
Settings > applications [pivot] > phone
at the very top it has voicemail number, click the button and you should be able to set it and save it there.
Thanks for your reply. I've done that.I tap on the button, enter the voicemail number and press save, but it still says unassigned.
if that's the case, i would ask on Microsoft Answers (social.microsoft.com) as it would be the best place to get a work around and possibly a flag for them to fix it.

[Q] Cannot Dial +1 Numbers

When I use the Google Voice Search to say "Call xxxx" (xxxx = any search term/non-contact) the number that shows after the search has a +1 in front of it. When it tries to dial it would ring, then a Verizon message would say the number cannot be dialed. I was hoping flashing CM7 would take care of this, but now it just fails to dial without the Verizon message. It fails immediately after attempting to dial.
I've seen a few topics across the web about this, most of them have to do with the phone adding a country code in place of the number and failing. However, I can't find a working solution.
CM7 doesn't appear to have call settings that would help. Has anyone experienced this issue? Can you dial a number that begins with a +1 from inside the US? I've heard (don't want to test) that dialing other countries with the plus sign works. I've also read that it's a known issue with HTC, and they may be working on a fix.
It's not a major problem, but that's what I typically use voice search for is searching for an address or number quickly. It's kind of a pain to memorize the number and dial that way.
For what it's worth, the issue is gone after flashing MIUI. It may be that I wiped the dalvik cache before flashing this one.

Keypad not operational when on call

Like when I call a number that requires you to input a number or extension and you input a number from the pop up keypad from dialer. Basically nothing happens when selecting a number. If anyone has experienced this please let me know. Thanks
Edit: stock rooted

Unlocked Verizon Note 4 Problems - help please

I have a Verizon Note 4 (N910V) that I had unlocked a few weeks ago and am using it on T-Mobile. I'm having a few problems that are REALLY annoying.
1) I can not use the dialpad while in a call. For example, "Press 1 for English" I hit 1 and it does nothing. I've tried all the numbers with different 1-800 numbers and it just does not work.
2) My voicemail does not work. When I press 1 for voicemail, I get an error. I tried calling my number, but to enter my pin I need the dialpad to work. I tried YouMail, but that didn't work either. I never originally setup my T-Mobile voicemail so that could be why YouMail isn't working though.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I'm pulling my hair out trying to google these problems.
On the voicemail tip, you need to change the voicemail number setting... Theres already a threead for how to do this..

Thank you for the help. Your link actually fixed my dial pad while in calls. It suggested to change the DTMF to long instead of short and it now works. As for the voicemail thing, I got it to work sort of. If I dial 123, it works just fine now. The only thing is, I can't seem to change the speed dial of 1 to the number 123. I tried and it said it was changed, but it still shows *86. I tried a few times with the same results each time. Is there another step I'm missing?
I haven't had to do this kind of thing to any of my phones in years. I wish I could help better. I just happened to remember changing APN settings was necessary and found that thread.
Awesome that fixed the touchscreen issue too!
i can not change that number
@GamerGuy89: how can you make Verizon Note 4 work with T-mobile?
i put the T-mobile simcard on it and it say "Not verizon Simcard". Signal is 0. Please help me!
And even i add another APN, but i can not change the number of voice mail from *86 to 123.
Thank you so much.
hi all.
i don't know why after updated to 5.0.1, i can not type *#06# to check my IMEI. When i key in that code on my keypad, the phone still there, nothing pop-up.
did my phone failed Rom or system???
Any input will be appreciated!
Thanks
