PJ46DIAG Chinese Bought Diag File from SOFF guy - HTC One X

Hey guys, a friend in china soffed his device at a shop. And i asked him to buy the diag file for like 200 yuan, which is something along the likes for 40 bucks. However, he said it is pretty much useless without the white card or gold card. I went to the soff thread and saw that they tried the diag file. Not sure whether this is the same, but gotta try right? Please dont flame, if its the same diag file, then just ignore this thread, and it will be closed shortly

Waiting xmoo to put his hand and confirm it..

hoping if this one is the right diag file

So how to get it work with this? Y-Cabrl and Cardreader? And what to put in the cardreader? Should I have the Stock Kernel?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app

guys, do not try if u dont know wat ur doing. the process should be short, my friend said it was done in less than a minute, and these were the files he used. however.the shop used a gold card to load the file, which costs 6000yuan with 100 access per card. making it 1000 dollars for us.

But, for my old Wildfire there was a prog to create a goldcard???

So, to resume: We have the diag, need a goldcard where to put the diag on, then we need a cardreader, in wich we put the goldcard. Then we connect the cardreader to an external powered usb Hub, an the, with an OTG Cabel to the HoX, right?

I am going to bet this is the clean diag : )
Product (endeavoru) = platform (HBOOT-T30S)
Anyone can confirm that this file seems for One X, by doing this "fastboot getvar all" and compare the values.
Now we only need the green light from Xmoo and some golden information from his side.

Only putting the diag on the virtual sdcard would be to easy, or? Or Flashing it via CWM?

I flashed Paranoid once, but i want o try another JB roms. So, can i flash or not? Where's the updated list that i can see which cids can install JB?
You can flash an AOSP or CM jellybean ROM on any htc one X The only ones that are limited by CID are the Sense 4+ jellybean ones
So to make myself clear, generally you can flash any jb ROM as long as it doesn't have Sense
I hope this made it a bit more clear.

And you can get your CID number by typing 'fastboot getvar cid' in fastboot

But how do you it? Where did you find it? Is there any official website that shows which CIDs are able to upload the fb? lol
You remember how to use fastboot commands, right? on your Pc go to your fastboot folder, right click with your Mouse, and select open command prompt here. (or something like that) then boot your phone to bootloader and select fastboot. Plug the phone in,(should say fastboot USB at this point) and then type "fastboot getvar cid"

What?
Inside the update is a list of CIDs, I assume in some file that is also human readable. The list can't be changed because the whole thing is signed.
The phone sends a request to HTC over the internet, in that request it sends affair bit of info about the phone, including model number, CID and IMEI, the HTC server decides whether there is an update and responds appropriately.

Desire HD hangs on startup after update
Hi all,
My DHD stock phone offered an update tonight. After installing the update it rebooted but never came past de startup screen with green HTC. At the end, I pulled out the battery and restarted, but it still gets stuck on the start screen.
Using the volume down button I did a factory reset, with no effect.
Any ideas how I get fix this? I have no idea how to make a gold card (or what it is to be completely honest)
Thanks so much!

here in a few steps what i did to fix the logo screen stuck thing... maybe it guides u in a direction.... first of all i figured it out what rom was in my phone, than with the gold card ( its a card that grants u acces to write rom to your phone if this has a protection activated on it) i simply rewrite the rom, using RUU file ( RUU = rom update utility ) but finally for me its a hardware issue

[How-to] Change MainVer area code

IF your mainver is X.YY.ZZZ.ZZZ ; X and YY values cannot be downgraded (and there is no reason you may want to upgrade, didn't try, will not)

[Q] HTC One X - Installing JB OTA update with Clockworkmod

Greetings and Kudos to All the XDA Family, you guys rock!!!
I had just received my Jellybean OTA update 4 days ago (finally!!!) and a friend (who supposedly knew how to deal with Android software as this was my first android phone) told me that I should root my HOX since that would give me more control blah blah...
So I take him up on his offer and (u guessed it) he basically screwed up my HOX and stuck on the HTC quietly brilliant post screen.
In a nutshell and basically getting a crash course in disaster recovery over the last 4 days, here is the current situation:
1- Fastboot getvar all returns:
version: 0.5a
version-bootloader: 1.39.0000
version-baseband: 5.1204.162.29
version-cpld: None
version-microp: None
version-main: 3.16.415.4
serialno: ?????????????
imei: ??????????????
product: endeavoru
platform: HBOOT-T30S
modelid: PJ4610000
cidnum: HTC__J15
battery-status: good
battery-voltage: 3781mV
devpower: 37
partition-layout: None
security: on
build-mode: SHIP
boot-mode: FASTBOOT
commitno-bootloader: None
hbootpreupdate: 2
gencheckpt: 0
2- I have managed to find:
STOCK OTA zip file for my CID ver: 3.16.415.4-2.17.415.2
STOCK RUU ver: 3.14.401.31
I have no problem locking\unlocking loader (did the htcdev exercise).
When I try to use the RUU file it goes for about 4 min and then returns with Customer ID error and quits.
I used Clockworkmod 5.8.4.0 to copy the OTA file to my SD card no problem, when I use the install zip from sdcard option (after disabling both the signature verification and script asserts) I get:
file_getprop: failed to stat "/system/build.prop": no such file or directory
E: Error in /sdcard/OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_HTC_ARA_3.16.415.4-2.17.415.2_release_304331jrfus698taf4vm1x.zip
(status 7)
installation aborted.
I have put in over 20 hours into this over the last 2 days, HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!!!!
BR
You need to be locked to use a ruu:
"fastboot oem lock"
Also run ruu as admin.
If it fails, I recommend you to restore a stock nandroid backup because it is a fairly simple procedure.
Download the appropriate backup here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975140
Then place it in /sdcard/clockworkmod/ and restore the backup in cwm.
If it doesn't boot that means your friend also messed with your boot.img.
I will give further instructions once you tell me if it boots.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Download this nandroid backup
http://d-h.st/y9S
then copy it to the phone via the recovery, the folder should look like this
Clockworkmod\backup\*time and date folder*\*backup files from the nandroid backup
then copy from the nandroid backup folder the boot.img file and copy it to the fastboot folder on the pc
now put the phone in the bootloader/fastboot usb mode
open a commandprompt inside the fastboot folder (right click in the folder and open commandprompt here)
then type
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase cache
then you enter the recovery and do a FULL wipe of everything except the sdcard
then tap the backup & restore button and restore the nandroid
Reboot and enjoy,
Ow and forget about that full ruu, that one will never work because it is not for your CID......
^ Here we go again.

lol he has the one x if you look in his log from getvar all then you see it's the hox
at OP
there is no good or bad RUU ...but for your CID and mainversion doesn't exist such a high RUU version ...no CID does have such a high RUU version...you can only use a nandroid backup...but please don't ask for guides...there are enough where you can look yourself
And since you are locked you should have warranty if something is wrong !

First off all if your bootloader is locked you can't flash anything, second is that when it can't load the file it has or the wrong name or it is not in the fastboot folder !
Long hair ,beautiful eyes , ass like beyonce ,that's thing to look for a good RUU
