Does anyone know where the Avengers movie is stored on the internal SD? Is it possible to move to external SD?
Thanks.

I found it once but am not exactly sure where. I believe its in one of the .samsung folders but (and I'm just saying here not accusing) if you plan moving it to share it, its a bust. It has DRM and in a format I've never heard of before .pyv too bad it wasn't like the HD2 with the DRM TF movies.

I wanna move it to free up internal SD space and not to share.

You couldn't spend 30 seconds searching but instead made a whole new thread? Wtf...

Main Storage Space running Low

Hey Everyone,
I've run into a small issues with my TP2. For some reason I seem to be running low on Main Storage Space. I only have about 60mb left. I'm not sure whats taking up so much space. I Hardly install programs onto my phone's main memory, and all my mail attachments are stored on my sdcard.
Is there a program out there that acts like the program for windows called TreeSize(http://www.jam-software.com/freeware/index.shtml) but works for Windows Mobile? I would really like to get this space issues undercontrol before anything bad can happen.
At a guess... perhaps is music, videos or photos?

I'm an idiot. Wow..... ha....
I actually just hard reset my phone. I figured I might as well, now that I know the device pretty well, and have a general idea of what I want on it.

[Q] About internal memory..

Hello to all...
I don't know if my question has already been answered, i made a quick search and didn't find any topic related.. If i'm wrong. I apologise for creating a new Thread...
So..
Is there a way to merge All the internal memory ( System and USB ) to a single one 3.7Gb +/- , using, of course the external Sd to save all the game files and so on?
Have any1 tried this and does the games etc.. runs well?
Is it safe to do it or you guys consider not worth the risk.?
Thanks.

Question to the manner transfer some of the data from main to ExterSD

Hi!
Some day ago, I have seen the topic to show how to transfer some data from main to ExtSD. but now I could'nt find it agian! who help me to see it agian please?
Thanks
Hi. I don't think anyone understands what you mean.
Explain better, please?
Are you talking about simply moving files like movies for example from internal memory to external? Or are you talking about moving data for games from internal to external? For the latter, check out DirectoryBind. Here is a DirectoryBind guide for the Galaxy S III. It should work the same way for a Note II. Note the word should, because I haven't used it myself so I don't actually have any experience.

The principle it looks like some soft to move the soft from main (internal SD) to External SD to get more memory of the internal SD.

[Q]Ripping Movies to Phone

How can I put movies on my phone for free. I've tried numerous programs, 10 alone tonight, and everyone either prompted me to pay or gave me an error(HandBrake). Any Ideas?
The way i put movies on my phone is just drag and drop lol, it's that easy, why rip or use a program to convert when you can just drag and drop movie into your sd card or internal storage? BSPlayer can play nearly every video format out there. So your question confuses me, i don't know if your asking "Where to get movies" or "How to put them on your phone" I get movies from scene sites.
I have the DVDs.

I haven't copied movies over to my micro sd phone i'm sure it's not that difficult to do.
Torrents... save on any computer then plug your phone in and put them in a folder ON YOUR SD. (im not saying I do that......but it works....... -.- ) DONT JUDGE ME!!!

You could either drag and drop, use Kies software made by Samsung or use an app like Air Droid to wirelessly transfer any files.

Did you just upgrade to a smartphone or are you an ex IPhone owner?
If you haven't ripped the DVDs, use DVD Decrypter. Then, to put the files in the format your prefer (or any that works on your phone) use Any Video Converter.

Ripping movies
I am curious too. I had some luck once before with this, but I can't quite remember how I did it. I think what he was originally asking is, how do you make a digital copy of a movie from a DVD that you can simply place on the SD card and the phone will be able to play. Most downloadable programs will only give you minimal features unless you pay like $40. By minimal, I mean 10 minute recordings or so. Are there any reliable, free software choices that would make this possible? Usually, copy protection is the hangup, even if you own the DVD, you can't make a playable copy.

Wouldn't that still leave them seperated into AUDIO and VIDEO files?

Yea, basically.
simple answer
It's simple!
Rip your DVD's to your computer (it's faster) then, copy it to your external SDcard on the phone using kies or just the usb cable.
I have 16 avi movies I downloaded onto my computer and just copied to a 64gb Class10 sd card. Fast and EASY!

Best Program?
What OS are you on? For Mac I used handbrake to resize (unneeded now) and jack the ripper to rip. PC I'm not sure..

Try Freemake video converter. I've used it a lot to convert video files but never rip a DVD. It will hopefully work.
For PC (and Mac) I've been following this guide for using Handbrake for both my tablet and phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1184002

Torrents are totally legal if you own the hard copy of the movie or song.

Not really. Sharing it is very much so though. I'm not a lawyer but I'm more worried about my girl seeing my browser history then about the things I downloaded.

I havent used it in a looong time but I recommend Handbrake. Very simple to use.

[Q] ExtSD hide

Is it possible to hide files on the external SD card from certain apps? Primarily video player and photo gallery. I've got little kids in the household that I don't want seeing certain things, if you catch my drift. I searched and couldn't find any way to hide the SD card from those apps, so as soon as you open the app kid-inappropriate thumbnails pop up. If possible I'd like to make those apps not scan the SD card so Iddon't have to worry about letting the kiddos play with the phone. Is this possible?
I'm running Jedi X6.1.2 ROM. Any help or advice is much appreciated.
Kids and phones are a bad combination.
So is porn and phones.

Lol, it's homemade, not downloaded from the net. I was just wondering if there was a way. I'm also usually sitting next to the kids while they use the phone, but I don't want them accidentally getting into the wrong place and seeing something theysshouldn't.

smh.. lol anyways:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.droida.nomedia&hl=en
I have never used an app to hide files from apps. I usually just put a ".nomedia" file in the folder in question. That makes it so no apps except a file explorer can see it.
However, it may be easier to keep track of by using that app. (actually WAY easier)
it looks like the app marks the hidden folder in red so you know which ones are being hidden. That feature alone is enough to make it better than adding a .nomedia
That app puts a .nomedia file into the folders that you select to "hide." Works perfectly! Thanks!

Haha yeah that's what I meant. That's why I referenced the ".nomedia"
Long night..
No problem! I'd rather have you hide the video then have to explain what going on in them to a kid lmao
