Does anyone understand why while taking a picture in a low light settings you cannot see what you are trying to take the picture of? Is there a way to improve the lighting to see what you are about to take a picture of?

Try ProCapture in the play store. Great camera app, and you can set the flash to "Torch" mode so that it's on full time while lining up your shot.

Ive been hearing a lot about camera mods and was wondering if there was one that would work with my phone.
Do you have an Epic? What kind of camera mod are you looking for?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
Well i didnt know there was more than one...I just thought there was one that would improve quality of audio and video, maybe pics ? And yes i have the Epic 4g.
I don't believe there is. Only mod I know of disables the shutter sound for the camera.

HD Camera from the market seriously improves the pix quality.

I'm not sure, but the last time I tried to use an SGSII Camera app on the Epic , the shutter button would glitch it out.

What app is this? I ran a search but can't find it.
Oops, left out a letter HDR Camera, sorry. It seems to take 2 or 3 quick shots and merges the pixels for an awesome HD picture.

Yup I use this app to. It takes one I believe saturated picture one less saturated and on with no edits and combines them, the only thing is that camera shutter noise!

When I take pics or video everything appears in gallery correctly, however, when I upload the image or video is rotated. Any fix or idea why this is?

Anyone?

Try using the aosp gallery app. Probably won't change anything but it is worth a shot. I believe it is built into stock ff18 and just frozen, not positive in that though. If you look in titanium backup you should see two different gallery apps, one of them is aosp.

I put my dim level and brightness down to as far as they can go down and the homescreen is dimmed fine but I notice in the dark, opening a browser or a program that my brightness is pertty high and enough to keep me awake. How would I do this in AOKP roms and is there a good program to help me tweak it down further?
Any apps to control brightness by app?
I think there's a feature in the ktweaker app on KToonz's kernel that will let you drop brightness further. That's the only place I've seen it.

+1 for screen filter. I have been using it for a long time and it's been great.
Lux also allows you to go lower on brightness. It also does auto brightness way better than the stock touch wiz.

I really wish there was an app that put sepia/lowered brightness all in one app and hopefully a dropdown notification bar. I mean along iwth cell standby display tends to be the main culprit of battery drain.
Would be nice to have an app like that. DEV it
You can also use rootdim

Thanks I was looking for this exact thing.
I troll the forum in the mornings before work and the S3 on the lowest setting is still to bright and bothers my wife.

Thanks for that, I knew about Screen Filter but I was looking for something that would actually dim the backlight instead of just overlaying on the display.
Since last week camera blur don't know why?

Hello.. I currently am running the Heisenberg Rom and love it.. But I hate the camera..
What's the closet camera I can get that resembles TouchWiz camera..
I really want to take pictures by command words.. And would like to have the photospere feature.. But not necessarily..
Thanks

Unfortunately there isn't really a good enough camera that can compare to the manufacturer's implementation of a camera app. Google Camera Is okay.
One reason why I went back to TW was the camera. I'm a frequent picture and video taker.
Here's the difference between the 2 apps in comparison of a picture.
