[Q] Apps not compatible ?

How come some apps are not compatible with the GN?
Take some NFC apps as an example, and this for instant: https://market.android.com/details?id=org.chatchatmeow.gnl
EDIT: Is it because I have set lower density?

Changing density does that to some apps, I don't have any trouble installing the app you linked.

The problem was the screen density. Fixed it with LCD Density Pro app

Video recording face effects

Is it possible for someone to make the face effects in the video recording settings work in the camera
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Yup. Use the screen shot function.....lol. that's what I've been doing. Get the video setup up with the desired affect and don't record. Just take a screen shot

Well that's a nice work around but it would be cool if they were coded in the camera settings

Well there is too. While recording, tap the screen and it will take a very low Res pic

How to turn off back light keys AOKP

Has anyone been able to accomplish this? Edit custom levels under display to 0 buttons does not stick for me. It worked for a second at one point but not anymore.
EDIT: I meant to make subject title AOKP

Make sure you have at least 6 levels and it'll stick
Sent from Samsung Galaxy SIV
Tried that, sticks but light doesn't go off.

Using Nova Launcher
Hold on Screen > Add Shortcuts > Activities > Galaxy SII Settings
It is under Sensors
It was in the AOKP thread
Thank you so much for this. I have been looking for this functionality for about two weeks now.
Without using a launcher you could.download BLN control from apparently market and just click deactivate lol

Camera lighting question.

Does anyone understand why while taking a picture in a low light settings you cannot see what you are trying to take the picture of? Is there a way to improve the lighting to see what you are about to take a picture of?

Try ProCapture in the play store. Great camera app, and you can set the flash to "Torch" mode so that it's on full time while lining up your shot.

[Q] setting full resolution wallpaper

I was wondering how can you set a picture to be a wallpaper without cropping? I tried stretching the box but it just can't make the whole picture as my wallpaper.

If you are only going to use it in portrait mode you can download an app called wallpaper wizardrii. It will allow you to crop the picture for portrait only.
