Which app r u using to overclock..........
I use voltage control.it runs smoothly wid out any problem.
Try flashing another kernel lik dust 9.0
Try using the deodexed version of the rom...enable the 2d rendering in the settings which can be found under the developer options..use no frills cpu for overclocking..set max freq to 787mhz and min freq to 120mhz and have smartassV2 governor and check the apply on boot option and have noop as the i/o scheduler..and hit apply...restart ur phone once manually...I think this will help...hit thanks if i helped you..
I tried with no frillz cpu and setted at 600 mhz max and 120 min.2d activated.same problem.now i am using eqdkp v5.1 and with 768 restarts but with 600 everything is fine.
Q:how can i verify the baseband ?

Hello,
I have some Problem with my Phone. It's currently running Cyanogenmod 7.2 the latest Update. It's a A510e.
So, the Problem, when I want to Overclock my Phone over 600 MHz it will Freeze or Reboot in some Minutes after that. Is there any Problem that can solve it? Maybe another Kernel for CM7.2?
Thanks for your Help.

So..isn't it be able to make a Overclockable Kernel for all WFS Models..or it is just hardcore to code?

Already tried these with a 2.3.5 Sense Rom. Just freeze in the white htc Screen. Going back to CM 7.
Not all models of the wfs are overclockable sadly so it doesn't matter what kernel you use it won't work

Well it's the same with computer CPU's, some CPU's can get to 5 Ghz some only to 4Ghz. You'll need a bit of luck.

The thing is (at least in my case) I can't even set the values for CPU - even if I use the option "apply on boot" - when I set the CPU values the phone reboots in few seconds and the values are back to defaults - 600 Mhz.
Today I tried to flash the new WildChild ROM 1.5. (which is already overclocked to 768 Mhz), but I'm stucked at the white HTC screen - I guess it's because of the overclocking because other ROM's work just fine.
So as I take it, I was just unlucky and bought one bad piece and there is no way to solve this?

I have this Problem too. At the moment there is no way to solve it, badly. To use OC Roms you can only Flash the default 600MHz HTC Kernel.
reflashing rom can often fix some issues but most likely a kernel problem
what are you using to set cpu e.g: nofrills etc??
did you wipe dalvik, cache, user data and whatever else is needed for you rom??

Look, I face the same problem. But i can flash HenseMod. HenseMod is an OC rom...and it works...so why shouldn't wildchild.....there has GOT to be some method to get it working on our phones...
be posted on this thread that I've created...maybe someone mighthelp...http://androidforums.com/wildfire-s...27-wfs-cant-over-clock-stuck-boot-screen.html
have you followed these steps exactly how they say??
just flashed it to my A510e and its working fine
Prepare and partition your SDCard. (Folks seem to enjoy a FAT32 primary, a 1 GB ext4 (I use ext2), and a 512MB Linux Swap... in that order.)
Copy the WildChild ROM .zip file to your SDCard. Cool.
Reboot into Recovery mode.
Wipe data/factory reset. (Do it twice, especially if on CWM)
Wipe Dalvik cache. (twice, as above)
Choose "Install zip from SDCard".
(You might have to toggle Signature Verification until it is Disabled)
"Choose zip from SDCard" and select your WildChild ROM .zip file.
(read the splash screen and wait about 2 mins.)
Reboot phone; wait another 2-3 mins.
N.B. Starting with WildChild v1.5, two reboots is now normal and expected during the setup.
When lockscreen appears with your local carrier time, you may unlock phone and start using.
Enjoy! (...and throw a "Thanks" my way! )
I think the problem is that Wildchild is already overclocked to 768 mhz. If you also experience troubles overclocking your CPU in other ROMs try it and let me know if it works for you.
I followed the instructions carefully, tried to flash it several times with both odex and de-odex versions, but the results were the same, it didn't load at all. Just the white HTC screen.

Ditto with my phone...and this has happened with all overclocked ROMs (mindhackers mostly)....I'm planning to sell my WFS and go for a MOTO Droid Razr Maxx...
I've got a htc wildfire s a510e and had cyanogenmod 7.1 as rom on my phone,
but I wanted something else and switched over to Miui v4 2.8.10 odex from henry.
I have tried to reinstall it multiple times without any succes.
But the problem is that it keeps rebooting while using it.
The reboottime is random and I have wiped all things that had to be wiped?
Does anyone has a solution?

I have the same problem! No using any scripts.I installed no frills cpu and setted at max 600 mhz,but random restarts keep coming.
A stupid question:kernels for gb is not compatible with cm9,right ?
I have fixed my problem, the problem was that nofrills didn't get root permissions from LBE Guard,
so I went to LBE Guard and checked that nofrills could have root permissions.
I changed the cpu to 600mHz and it haven't rebooted since

NO. There are no extra flashable kernels for our device for ICS.
There are just kernels for sense roms. Also There's just one kernel for CM7. I guess its called speed mod or something.
It keeps happening but only after 2 hours.

The other is a setting of the ondemand parameter.. this is for changing options.. my obiettive is to unify the most mods in one.. for ex:
Chose freqs
Chose governor
chose different setting of governor
Chose.undervolt
Chose scheduler
Etc etc etc
Sure, it's unusefull to.add all now.. kernels doesen't have those parameters..
the mod is simple.. whould you use the tegra3 at 1ghz max? You should use an app daemon (systen tuner etc etc) or use a simple script
Oc daemons use a lot of resources, and monitoryze the cpu.. my mod add the parameters at boot, and, nothin else.. so.. the same thing without an app witch could:
1) can give free reboots
2) increase the consiption
upgrade in first post
Thanks! I think I got it
So, How do I change those values my self?
(Max freq, voltages) Is there aroma menu inside

Hello, thank you for creating this. I want to ask about the USB Fast Charge. Currently I'm using KozmiK kernel which doesnt have USB Fast Charge feature. Is it possible to make the USB Fast Charge available with this mod? I already install the mod and notice that when you charge using USB, it stil shows USB. But I dont know if the USB Fast Charge is already applied or not. I cant charge with USB since the kernel have some issue when chargin with USB, the minimum frequency stays at 910 Mhz and cannot be lowered
R: [MOD][11-02]Change Settings of MODDED Kernel
Fast charge is a kernel features.. only kernel has it.. and it's impossible to add manually with recovery flash
If you turn on the fastcharge with this mod on a kernel witch doesent have it, it will not work.. the command of turning on will not find the sysfile, so, one istruction for nothing.. it doesent demage the phone
If you have issues with frequency, you should change kernel..
I'm on ncx, and it's bugghed too.. so.. it's normal.. source code is out for less time
