I've searched around on XDA and can't find any info. I recently bought a Blueant Q1 headset. Works great on my computer. The sound quality of its built-in audio commands is very loud and clear. However, when I talk in my Captivate using the headset, people are very quiet on my end, and they often tell me that they can hear themselves echoing back through the phone call. I don't have these issues when using the same headset with my computer. Does anyone have any advice to offer?

Hi..
I bought my defy 4 days ago..I was a Sony Ericsson walk man series user... and got used to in-ear type headset for long time.
Now defy headset really hurt me while listening music. So want to purchase in-ear headset. I checked Nokia X6 headset but sound is not that good and also music player stop itself automatically with in 20 sec or less.
I checked couple of other sets.. but problem remains the same..
Please help me buy decent headset.

I think any Meelectronics in-ear headset with P in the product name would be more than enough. You just need to select the model that best suits your needs/wallet . I recommed M9P as a good start, and they're not expensive.
Look at this post, this is my second recommendation of Meelec.
Here's one review.
i had the same problem..i just made my own,cut off the moto earphones about 3" from the ear piece and the same on some you like.two wires one coloured and one bare, solder them to the replacement ones and get some cheap shrink sleeveing,it looks good and works a treat.
Thanks
Yesterday i visited many of shops to test various headsets... luckily shops do have test pieces.. After checking at-least 10 headsets found one for my defy.
It is ..Samsung headset.. which is original headset comes with Samsung Champ mobile pack. Dealer agreed and opened a brand new box for me and gave me headset.
Sound is very decent and mainly for the money it is pure gold...
Thank you all guys for your valuable suggestions.
i just ordered the livedock and thought about the livesound.
i need a good headset because im technically 24/7 listening to music.
now i just use the headset that comes with the xperia arc but i have to know how is the livesound compare to the stock headset? is there any difference from the bass, the volume and the quality?
I do not know about LiveSound, but MW600 is awsome!!! And it is wire free!!!
Mw600 or livesound...go for it. Im using livesound as we speak. I had mw600 till it broke

Which one was the best ?
To be honest livesound has the better sound quality. Though the mw600 was good too expect sometimes id hear crackles even if the phone is right next to me. Plus the upside of the licesound is that you wont be using battery on the phone for bluetooth either

i use a mw600 with sennheiser cx 300 earphones and sound is clear and powerfull
I will disagree about battery for bluetooth...Practice shows that powerfull earphones (cord) uses more battery trugh high impedance... I consider it with W950i( great phone!!!) + HBH-DS220 instead of Koss earphones or stock HPM-85... I see that it is working for an ArcS + MW600... MW600 great choice, for me I am using it with my Laptop for music, movies and skype...and I hate wires now)))
i got the cx300 too btw.
so should i buy the mw600 or the livesound? all i need is the buttons for the music, good bass, good quality and high volume.
so which do you think is better?
1-0 for MW600. But you should hear some from people who heared both...MW600 and LiveSound.
All the same to me, i have been trying to find the stupid livesound everywhere in mexico and nobody sells, im tired of looking 4 it.
and SE online sales are useless btw, they tell me to look for them in convenience stores cuz there are no more online sales at least for mexico.
the livesound headset is simply amazing, i have to use playerpro boost bass with the stock headset, but livesound just gives better bass quality.

Wanted to know which bluetooth headset are you guys using for calling & receiving calls on your HTC Ones? I needed to buy a bluetooth headset with the following criteria -
1. Only required for call purpose, music listening not required.
2. Light-weight with voice clarity & noise cancellation the utmost priority.
3. Budget - max 30$
Some feedback please....

Considering your requirements I would go with Motorola. I actually picked one up last night for (Motorola Boom headset) for $60.00 which has been working very well, although the noise cancellation is not the best. I came from a Jawbone Era which in my opinion was horrible, however the noise assassin did work as advertised but for the price ($120.00) I was very disappointed. I know your budget is $30.00 which can get you a Jabra headset (mixed reviews) but I would strongly suggest possibly saving a bit more money ($40-$60) for a headset due to voice clarity and noise cancellation that are a must have for yourself.I say this because in my experience less expensive Bluetooth headsets will probably not have the caliber of clarity and noise cancellation you require.
Plantronics back-beat 903.
Stereo blue tooth, active mic when music is paused and can be found for $40 on amazon.

+1 for the Voyager Legend. I got my father-in-law one of the first units off the production line (it was numbered) prior to their official launch. It's nice when you work directly with Plantronics as a distributor.
If you want noise cancellation, clarity and battery life you are going to pay for those benefits. Unfortunately I'm spoiled by Plantronics since I can get a Voyager Legend for about half the amount others would pay for Jawbone NIB retail.
