Wanted to know which bluetooth headset are you guys using for calling & receiving calls on your HTC Ones? I needed to buy a bluetooth headset with the following criteria -
1. Only required for call purpose, music listening not required.
2. Light-weight with voice clarity & noise cancellation the utmost priority.
3. Budget - max 30$
Some feedback please....

Considering your requirements I would go with Motorola. I actually picked one up last night for (Motorola Boom headset) for $60.00 which has been working very well, although the noise cancellation is not the best. I came from a Jawbone Era which in my opinion was horrible, however the noise assassin did work as advertised but for the price ($120.00) I was very disappointed. I know your budget is $30.00 which can get you a Jabra headset (mixed reviews) but I would strongly suggest possibly saving a bit more money ($40-$60) for a headset due to voice clarity and noise cancellation that are a must have for yourself.I say this because in my experience less expensive Bluetooth headsets will probably not have the caliber of clarity and noise cancellation you require.
Plantronics back-beat 903.
Stereo blue tooth, active mic when music is paused and can be found for $40 on amazon.

+1 for the Voyager Legend. I got my father-in-law one of the first units off the production line (it was numbered) prior to their official launch. It's nice when you work directly with Plantronics as a distributor.
If you want noise cancellation, clarity and battery life you are going to pay for those benefits. Unfortunately I'm spoiled by Plantronics since I can get a Voyager Legend for about half the amount others would pay for Jawbone NIB retail.

I want to buy a bluetooth handsfree for my QTEK S200. I've tried Plantronics 510 and 655 today, but have experienced some problem with both of them. I can hear some noise as well as other side hear it as well. The overall quality of my voice and other side voice is much worse, then just speaking via the phone itself.
So I'm looking for an advice - is there a best bluetooth handsfree for S200, that I can buy without worrying about the quality of my voide during the call. I'm not interested in listening music through handsfree at all. Thank you.
Hey, come on!
Nobody is using bluetooth? Please direct me, if I missed something. I've tried a few handsfree and was not happy about all of them. So need your help.
go for Bang & Olufsen earset 2 if you have unlimited budget,
with noise canceling inbuilt and sleek design,
it's probably the best and the most expensive one you can get.
i bought one in US (it's around $400), but later i found it's cheaper in my home country.
from my experience, sound from it is excellent (though remember the other side's noise is not canceled, but it just sounds better),
but if I am inside the noisy subway, train, or just on a busy street, people will ask if i am at home, they can really hear no noise.

Well, the budget is actually limited - max 80 USD.
I'm using Jabra BT8010 and I'm very happy about it. Dun know how much it is in US. I understand that you don't need stereo for music but this one is a mono that can be connected to another earpiece (included) and it will become stereo.
The sound is loud, and clear. I have no problem listening to other people even on a busy street and I also haven't heard any complain from the other party about my voice being low too.
I just checked from : http://computershopper.com/reviews/jabra_bt8010_bluetooth_headset_review
Price is around USD$100

Thank! Good advice - I haven't considered Jabra at all - will look about it. Does anybody uses Jabra 205 or 150?
I've been using a Nokia HS-26W (BT 2.0) for more than a year now and it works very well with my S200.

Jawbone Icon, but I hear the battery life isn't quit that good. That's the only thing that's prevented me from getting it. Maybe someone else can confirm or recommend something better.

I have a convertible and have always used a bluetooth headset in my car. I have tried almost every dual mic mono bluetooth and the best overall brand is Plantronics. The Voyager has the highest ratings, but is so big and uncomfortable. The 975 is very good, but pricey. The first Jawbones were not great, but the newest Icon is a great headset. However, for the money, the headset I have found to be the most feature rich and best sounding is the Motorola 790. These are all mono sets.
Jawbones are great headsets. Nice audio quality, but not the best volume.
Blueants are another great set, I have used them for a while now.
If you want a stereo, jaybirds are awesome. Hands down.

I agree, and the blueant also has an app from the market that allows custimizations for the headset, if i was honestly gonna invest more money into a bt headset thats the direction i would go
Just fyi;
the blueant Q1 (the one I have) the app doesn't work for Froyo.
and,
the Blueant Q2 (the one I want to get) doesn't have an app yet. However, the Q2 is still pretty new, so I'm sure the app is en route.
Supposedly the Q2 has some kickass sound. Can't wait, personally
Had the original jawbone for years now and it was a ga=ood headset but uncomfortable fit. Got the blueant z9i but the noise cancellation wasn't as good as the jawbone. Just picked up the jawbone icon and the noise cancellation is unparalleled. People can't even tell I'm in my car with the windows halfway down. Plus it has a much smaller and more comfortable fit than the original. Oh yeah, it handles a2dp also! Definitely the way to go. Only complaint, volume could be louder.
Ya know, that's the problem with so many of these headsets. They just don't have the volume for real world applications.
It's like they only think people use them in a car or in the office. That's why I took back my Jawbone. Great set, but I couldn't hear squat.
Oh yeah, the Blueant Q1 and Q2 support A2DP...
I have the BluAnt Q2 and it works pretty good for playing music and everything else.

I second that motion, jawbone is the way to go. Battery life is approximately 4 hours more or less(constant streaming). It does support Ad2p and extreamly well. Everybody's talking about the audio not loud enough but if you have a rooted phone you can find dsp manager, (I know cayogen offers it in his roms) and you can find the standalone apk and adjust the volume till its too loud.

Well I have given up on wireless headsets and am looking for a quality wired headset for my HTC One.
I make quite a few calls and occasionally listen to music.
I am tossing up between a more mp3 audio headset such as the Klipsch Image S4 and the more call orientated Plantronics MX500.
Can anyone recommend a good quality headset with inbuilt microphone?

Out of those two, Id definitely go Klipsch. Ive always liked their products. I do use a Plantronics bluetooth for calls, but ive not used any of their products that Id rave about for music quality (Ive not used the MX500 though).

My gut says similar. The wireless headsets I have used are Plantronics Legend so have some exposure.
I listen to music probably 5-10% of the time though so the ability to play music is secondary.
My impression is that the wired call centre headsets have not been updated in a long time and are outdated.

My experiences with the legend were less than pleasant.
I was getting the problem of chronic interference when talking on a cell phone but reasonably clear talking on skype. I could never get to the bottom of it. I am using the headset that came with the phone but looking for something that is a step up in quality.
Anyone got an additional take on this or should I consider giving bluetooth another try?

Look at JLabs
http://www.jlabaudio.com
Usually they have sales and anything with an "m" after the name (example: J4m, J.Fi.m) are "mobile phone" headsets that have the mic and button integrated into the right cable. Right now I am using a J4m (that I got for 5 bucks in a grab bag), it is incredibly rugged.
Have been using Jlabs earbuds for years and they are some of the best sound (until you get into the 100-200 dollar range) I have heard out of an earbud. Also just bought the crasher bluetooth speakers.

So I made the mistake of getting another Voyager Legend.
Tried all of the following and had no success.
Ordering a JLabAudio tomorrow
1.) Wifi on and off
2.) Disabling wireless from the router itself
3.) Scanning wifi connections using inSSIDer
4.) Switching handsets to my wife's Samsung
5.) Using another Plantronics Legend
6.) Re paring device several times
Hello,
I have a question regarding headset with a mic for GNex.
What is the best? what is most compatible with GNex, play/stop button, answerring/rejecting calls etc. And quite loud and clear sound quality during calls.
Any recomendations?

I like the Creative EP-650 In-Ear Earphones (there is a hands free model can't remember the model number) had them for more than 5 years still have their bass the best buy so far only thing is cable jingles a little and due to they Y shape it transmits the noise to your years, you need to wear them under your shirt to stop the noise transfer.

Bluetooth, all the buttons, great sound.
Recommended the product of aromic floyd.
maybe samsungs stock headset in the box is the best one as the speakers sound...
but i think beats one is the best for microphone...
I had tried a bunch and have been continuously dissapointed with the sound quality on BT headsets. I finally went out and splurged on the Plantronics Voyager Legend and I must say people couldn't even tell I was talking from a BT. Unfortunately mine had a bug and wasn't loud enough on my end and I need to send it back to be replaced but I do think that for good sound quality it is worth the high price tag especially if you are using your phone for business (which is why I needed it). I think some models of similar items to the voyager legend from a year or two ago have already gone down in price so that can help to cut costs.
The plantronics units mentioned above I believe are for use in the building when you are hooking your phone up to them. The units I am referring to are cellphone BT headset
I am using a Jabra Wave headset which is quite convenient and really cheap (14€)
For a bluetooth headset, I am using an LG HBS-730. Sounds great with music. Would sound better if the GNex came with the Apt-x codec, but I have no complaints about the sound. Call functions are compatible with the buttons on the headset. Highly recommended. Can get a refurb model on Ebay for around $40 shipped.
I like to use bluetooth headsets to talk to the phone. With all my previous phones (samsung,lg,zte, huawei) I have always used Nokia bluetooth headsets. With this phone people don't hear me good with my Nokia headsets. So can anyone suggest me a headset that works perfectly with the One?
Plantronics Voyager Legend. I've had many BT headsets, and this one is the best by far. I can stand 2 feet away from a running diesel engine, and the person on the other end asks me why I'm shouting. The noise cancellation is just unbelievable with this thing.

That site doesn't help. I know where to buy bluetooth headsets and I know that generally all are compatible with the phone. What I would like to know is from users that use bluetooth headsets if they have to suggest a specific bluetooth headset that they use and know that it doesn't make noise to them or to the others that they talk with.
take this with a grain of salt as I don't use the phone feature that much.
my old LG hbs-700 worked very well, great sound and good phone reception as well, I received or placed phones while in gym, biking, etc.
I know there is a newer version featuring apt-x as well, you might wanna search for reviews on this.
since then I moved to on-ear headsets, I really like this telme2 headset I bought a couple of months earlier, good sound again, very rich, apt-x, no lag streaming audio from tv; I have also used mostly to receive calls, no complaints here, the phone reception is OK on both ends.
I also own the sennheiser mm 400-X, I have used very little for calls, but seems to do the job OK. however this latter device it's much more expensive, imo too expensive to justify its features..
