So in the next coming days I'm getting rid of my zagg is. I will be installing my Otter Box Defender case when it comes in! So I ask you... What is the best dry screen protector? I will be buying one for backup in case my defender case fails me! What company? Looking for a good one not the cheapest!
Thanks...

Seidio.
Clarivue is the best but the GS3 is extremely difficult to install. It is so thin that the covers labelled 1 and 2 were extremely difficult to peel off. I burned the first one and just salvaged it on the second one. They give you two so it is worth the trouble though.
honestly i decided in the end to not use my skinomi and just use the verizon dry ones, and its holding up pretty well so far
Fosmon would be my vote. My inspire has a Fosmon under the Defender and it worked great.
I love the Otterbox series! The one thing I hate is the screen protector that comes with it. I'm gonna do the same thing I did with my GSM Galaxy Nexus defender when i get my S3 defender this week. I will pop off the screen protector and use my current Zagg HD under the case. That Otterbox SP is the worst, the clarity and colors instantly goes to **** LOL!

I really liked it on my HOX so I have a feeling that I will like it on the S3 too.
Also thanks for all the replies guys! Its very helpful to see what you all think!
Seidio screwed up on the GS3's screen protector, its about 3/16" short. either you fully protect the screen and have the bottom edge of it at the top of the hard button.. problem is the bottom edge is what should be protecting the soft buttons!
Just got my new S3 it is awesome! Upgraded from a Dinc2 which was a great resilient phone but such a step up with the S3.
Wondering if people are buying cases for the S3, if so which ones? also screen protectors, i know it has gorilla glass but so did the Dinc2 and i still got scratches on that screen. What do you guys think? any horror stories?

I have a diztronic tpu case and a body Glove tpu case. I'm currently rocking the body Glove tpu case with a Reearth screen protector. Best combo I've seen for this phone. Don't get the wet application screen protectors, I've tried 2 and neither work well with the tpu cases for this phone.

Noticed a couple hair line scratches on the screen after a couple days. Went and bought an otterbox. All is well.

Got an Otterbox Commuter case that came with a screen protector. Two layers (one soft rubber inside and one hard plastic over) make for a very protected S3
how much does the otterbox add to the thickness? I like the idea of military grade protection but i really like how sleek the s3 is
It does add thickness, I just measured and if you take your micro USB charger and place the micro USB end on top of the USB end, it's that thick.
you would be much better off reading this forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1670
Hey guys,
I need a screen protector which covers the whole front (not the borders). My Nexus's screen broke and I installed a new screen and now I can't find which one did I use earlier. It was perfect.
Attaching a photo of the previous one.
Thanks
I just bought the official Verizon screen protectors last weekend. You get 3 for 12.99. Just don't get the glare proof ones as they distort the color.

How do they fit?
i really have never used any screen protectors for my samsung phones. I never have had any scratches whatsoever and I am pretty rough with my phone.
Wow, really? :/ Not at all? Even I don't want to apply a protector. The Beauty of the phone dies!
I just got my Galaxy Nexus off eBay and I bought ArmorSuit MilitaryShield - Samsung Galaxy Nexus Screen Protector Shield with Lifetime Replacements
$9.95 from Amazon.com
I bought one an ArmorSuit shield for my Nexus 7 and it is GREAT.
I posted a review on Amazon.com, basically stating:
FLAWLESS installation. No bubbles, no overhangs, no dust. No "orange peel" texture like you get on the other brand (rhymes with Bagg). Save Money and get this TOP QUALITY protector. When I showed my Nexus 7 to my friends, they couldn't even tell that it had a screen protector on, and this one on my Galaxy Nexus looks just as great!
If you follow the instructions, (it is a wet install- but super easy) and take your time, you should get similar results. I will never buy any other brand of screen protectors.
I'm still using the same XO Skins from last December. It' still holding up great but I'm curious to try out this no screen protector thing now and see what happens.
I'll probably keep the screen naked. I'm loving the feel of it. And anyway, the whole front glass of the phone is just for 16$. :/
OR I might just buy the armor suit shield
Ghost armor is what I've been using since my S. Pretty transparent and it's slightly oleophobic so any oils that build up wipe right off. Dust likes to cling to the edges though.
So I have an Otterbox case and I already took the original Otterbox screen protector out and replaced it. I replaced it with the Spigen Curved Crystal protector but it's already starting to come off since it didn't really completely cover the whole screen. So now I need to get a new one. Any ideas? Which ones do you guys think are the best?
i have the Armorsuit screen protector on mine, and i like it a lot.
it stays put just fine, even with a Incipio case on as well
I have a privacy protecter on mine with the otterbox defender series

I ordered a Skinomi screen protector from Amazon about 2 months ago. This is the worst piece of crap I've used. I read decent reviews prior to my purchase and nobody mentioned that it is extremely soft. I probably have 20 or so fingernail indentations on the protector which is totally weak. I'm interested in hearing what others think are the best since I will be in the market for a more durable screen protector that covers the entire screen.

I'm using liquid armor for more then 3 months. For now it works good. I only got 1 small, almost invisible scratch, but that was after keeping knife, screwdrivers and a lot of other sharp objects in my pocket with phone. And it was after almost 3 months since last coating.
If you don't like that then I recommend buying invisibleshield extreme. My friend has that and it works great for him. I'm thinking about buying it myself.

i just stuck with the screen from OB
Hi guys,
I'm wondering if anybody can recommend a screen protector for the mini. Have tried several (eBay cheapos but also more expensive like zagg invisible shield) but none of them are really what I want. The zagg I have on now is probably the best one yet but I'm not satisfied with the way it fits the screen. Have about 1 to 2 mm space around the edges which surprises me for a "precision laser cut" protector. Seemed much easier to find a perfectly fitting protector for my previous phones...

@Folix models are pretty good, barely no edge gap (that make the film more difficult to apply).
Are you talking about just the screen? or the entire face of the phone?
I have a local no-name one that covers most of the face of the phone, only about 1mm in total around the sides is left uncovered and then the home button and the speaker and sensor area along with the front camera, it definitely covers the entire screen area though and a little beyond.
I also use a Chinese type. I bought it online and the name is in Chinese so I couldn't keep it in my head. Surprisingly, it covers my S4 mini well. i passed my S4 mini on to a friend so I can't tell much if it lasted long. I suggest Spigen screen protector. They are also good I hear.
I just got the @FOLIx in. They fit perfectly... thanks for the recommendations!

Because sand can scratch your gorila glass like crazy . And in a dusty environment u have dust/small sand particles in your poket
I am using a protector made in Taiwan:
http://store.srsworks.com/imos-3sas-film-for-samsung-galaxy-s4-mini
Price is quite high US$20 but it is highly transparent and extremely oleophobic/hydrophobic. The only drawback is that dust or fabric can attach on it quite easily.
