Hello, sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it.
Does anyone one know a way I can get passed the LockOut app?
I lost the password. I don't care about loosing anything. Is there
A way to reload the OS? When I try to boot into recovery it just stalls
and then boots up normal. Any help would be great Thanks..

Hi All,
I just got a Samsung Galaxy S2 (T-mobie U.S.) - Please accept my sincere apologies before hand, I am a super n00b at cell phones.
Is there a way to change the splash screen/ boot animation on this phone?
Has anyone found a guide to remove all of the crap-ware that comes with the phone?
What are some of the steps pro phone users take when they get a new phone?
Thank you for taking the time to address my questions,
-Andres
Ok mr new guy,
Since this phone is so spanking new it hasnt been rooted yet! WHICH means that u cant remove the bloatware, change the boot animation, etc etc.!! many developers are working on that problem as we speak!
What i would do is get Titanimum backup and rom manager as those 2 apps are very essential to rooted phones, go with the premium on both if u can makes it so much better and easier and helps out the devs!
also once the phone is rooted go with boot flash pro, its in the market and is .99 cents ,you can use any pic on your phone as a splash
Thank you!
Thank you for all of your help!
OK hopefully you guys with tons of Epic 4g experience can help.
My wife dropped her rooted Epic 4G and now it will only boot into recovery.
I have tried to wipe the phone completely, re-flashed the rom, downloaded a new rom and tried to flash that and even considered trying, dare I say it, try to un-root the phone.
It doesnt seem to be able to get past the samsung splash screen. Do any or you masters of this phone have any suggestions on how to fix this. Could it be something with the hardware? And is it worth trying to get it fixed with the new phones about to come out.
Grateful to all that help

Flash it back to stock via odin.
Give me a sec to link you the how to video.
Make sure you have a nonstock usb.. otherwise you might end up soft bricking it.
If this video doesn't seem within your abilities then I can remotely do this if you'd like via teamviewer.

it boots into recovery, so it's fixable. do what uber said. odin it back to stock. if you know how to do so and need the tar files, just let us know.
Something like this happened recently when my lady dropped her phone. It would take like 20 minutes to boot up, and would act extremely slow to where it was useless. Cwm worked fine, and even an odin to stock wouldn't save it. We had to file a claim and replace it.

I tried rooting my SCH-I605 but for some reason, was unsuccessful. So I unrooted it and put it back to stock... At least I think it is. The new update Verizon and Samsung just came up with keeps on popping up, wanting to download. I know that this update will block Exynos, but at this point, I don't really care to root and all that anymore... For now anyways. Question is though, everytime I try to download the update, it fails. The only thing I can think is that there is still a bootloader on my phone from when I tried rooting it the first time. What is the best way to completely, 100% flash back to stock so that I can get this update downloaded?
Anyone at all?
I'm really starting to get irritated because it is popping up wanting to download everyday but still fails. Can someone please help me with this problem?

What had you done previously on your phone? Had you installed any mods, removed system applications, etc.? Just curious if you could share so that others don't get stuck in the same situation.

have played to change simcard...usualy I always shut the phone before, but for a reason, I changed my sim without shutting down the phone.. .from there the phone have rebooted by itself but stayed on the at&t logo!! it provoked probably a kind of glitch.. have waited at least half an hours but stayed at the at&t logo....so I knew that I was in problem from there.....lolllllll
soooo I had to reflash....and set-up from zero.....naturally I didn't be able to just flash the kernel...wich I'm positive will have revive the phone......but lg tool only make a complet new flashing....
end of story......shut your phone before changing your sim....
Hi
So I changed the PIN on my tablet and forgot it. Now I am trying to get in and I cant, I assumed there would be an option to log in with my Google account, but I do not see that option anywhere. There is no forgot password button like most phones for some reason. Is there no option for this at all on this tablet? I've already entered the incorrect PIN 60 times, hoping it would pop up asking me to enter my Google account info but no luck. Is factory resetting the tablet really the only way to get in now??!

Company owned SM-P605, pin forgotten by employee, I've already tried Odin with stock rom that worked fine (just replaced the Samsung Boot logo with the telco's one) but it is still asking for PIN!
It's not rooted, and I wouldn't want to, how do you FDR with Odin?
Thanks,
P.
