http://www.androidauthority.com/lg-nitro-hd-clockworkmod-cwm-recovery-48447/
(do not follow)
i tried install ClockworkMod (CWM) since i installed the koereean rom and (no wi-fi to install tru rom manager)
is anything i can do for my phone like i'm not able to go in download mode, i can't see anything on screen. black
while i connect the usb cable i can hear a sound like connecting to computer
thanks a lot
We would need some more information to know if your phone is truly bricked.
does your device show up via ADB?
does it show up with B2CAppSetup program?
have you followed the unbricking solution?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1597488
an important part of getting the phone into download mode is unplugging the usb at the right time during a hard reboot with the volume up held.
hope any of this helps but hopefully we will hear back with more info.

first of all thanks for response
no, it doesn't show up in adb (use command adb devices)
i can hear only the sound from computer (exactly like you connect true usb cable) but nothing on screen
yes, i tried the steps but ask to connect the phone, no usb connecting
@Maverick.Marq,
No, we don't really need more info to know his phone is hosed. Basically he has flashed a supposed CWM image on top of one of the bootloader partitions instead of the recovery partition. Everyone should contact these guys and tell them their guide is horribly, horribly wrong. They never responded to my email...but maybe if more people contact them about it, they'll remove their stupid guide.

LOL, I have no idea why you're trying to use Nero, but yes you are correct -- recovery images should be 16MB (16777216 bytes).
That's not the issue though. The issue is that you flashed something to the mmcblk0p6 partition, which is bad.

Hi
Hi Nickmatine,
Could you please confirm if your phone (LG P930) got unbricked?
Regards
@allians2002,
Unless he sent it in to be hardware-flashed, it's probably pretty much hosed.
I think I have the same problem

There is nothing you can do. I will sell mine, or if someone need a new screen or something, just so damn unlucky...

i think know where to solder wires to hard flash but it's a very small connector. Maybe 7-8 hours just to solder the wires. If someone know where can i buy the cable for this connector i can help you and other people

Hi guys.
One of my friends recently gave me his bricked galaxy s4 mini. The phone doesn't turn on and when I plug it in to my laptop it comes up as Qualcomm, Inc. Gobi Wireless Modem (QDL mode) . I've tried to fix it using qdload.pl and QPST but none of them worked.
Is there any way to restore the device without jtaging it ?? I have another working gs4 mini if that helps.
Download odin and a firmware from sammobile. Then do the steps showing on the website and done.

The same thing just happened to my working S4 mini. I put it on charge yesterday and it switched off after 5 minutes and never switched back on. I don't think there's any way to fix it as the EMMC is most likely dead :crying:

Brickbug much?
=/
Same thing happenned to me. I installed TWRP and the phone just died. Now it turns on and everything but is stuck in bootloop. Main issue is, my recovery just shows TWRP symbol and no options to be able to flash a new rom or a new recovery.
Odin flashes stuff such as cwm, stock rom, but none of these seem to actually have any impact in my phone behaviour.
I think it's just dead yet I just don't want to accept it, I'm trying everything I can to make it work again.
PS: I hate myself the day I decided to install a trwp
I need help, my ZF2 suddenly cannot be detected by my windows 7 laptop and pc. When I tried to plug in usb 3 port, it wont get detected. If in usb 2/1 port, it will be detected but with the yellow exclamation mark. I tried updating mtp but it wont update (shows device is up to date). I tried reinstalling ROM and factory reset thru the ROM, but still not working.
I returned to stock but still it wont get detected on my pc or laptop. I ****ed everthing up when I returned to stock since I cant root it back anymore since it wont get detected by adb.
Evereything is up to date including 15sec adb installer 1.4.2 or 1.4.3 and intel usb driver 1.10 from 1.9.
I will try to reformat thru stock recovery and see if it will work. But before doing that, any suggestion or ideas?
Does it charge while connected to the laptop?
Have you tried using other micro USB cables?

Yes, it charged when I plugged it on different port. And yes, I have tried different cables, samsung, asus and dont know brand chords. All cables only shows usb device malfunction code 43 and all charged my phone when plugged to ports.

I used to have a twrp 3.0.0-0 recover then flash .165 recovery then flash .165 stock ROM. And after reboot, still cant get detect by any port. It just charged my phone. Then I updated to .174 but still no detection.

Still usb device malfunction code 43. Thanks man
I had the same issues when my Zenfone's chip set fried - PC did not recognise the phone, phone did not recognise USB drives, fast charging not working. To be precise what happened: one day I plugged in the cable (original one, with original charger), the phone showed high temperature warning and shut down. Then after a while I turned it back on but USB wasn't working any more, except for the slow charging. Sent in for a warranty repair, it was stuck there for like 2 months before they sent me a new phone.
Had the same problem, it turned out that my zenfone 2's charging port and microphone had been damaged. Replaced the parts from a third party repair man as my warranty was void. He returned me a very well functioning and no more problematic zennie within a week
It surely isn't a software problem..
Hope it helped..

I went to a 3rd party repairman and he said he just replaced the flex data cable or something like that, he also said it is common for zenfone smartphone. Then my phone is detectable again.
A friend gave me his phone after it died by itself.
It behaves kinda weird one time it showed me a red charging light another time it showed me the lg boot logo, but most of the time it doesn't do anything.
It already has a new battery and it died by itself (on day it turnd off by itself and nerver recovered) so I guess it's a faulty board?
Is this a solvable Problem or should he just buy a new phone?
Infos:
- Unlocked bootloader (2 years ago I used it with a custom rom but now it only runs on stock with stock recovery so no twrp)
- no twrp
- has new battery
- runs stock
- no idea which firmware version
- out of guarantee
- died by itself
- shows as "9008" com port when connected to a pc

Flashed successfully, but still nothing. So guess thats it for the phone^^
Hi all,
I am having a problem with my Sony Bravia Android TV (Model: KD-55X8000G).
I updated the latest firmware (V6.6555) for Asia Pacific (I am from Singapore). Since then, the TV keep rebooting. So I tried factory reset multiple times but no success. Now the TV is just stuck in the Sony logo without any LED light.
I did some research and found that this symptom means the firmware was corrupted, which eventually led to my TV being bricked.
So how do I proceed in un-bricking it? Is it via the fastboot command via android SDK? How do I solve this rebooting / stuck issue?
Note that my model is out of warranty despite being 2019 model because this was a replacement TV for 800C model and followed the old warranty which expired on Dec.2019.
I checked with my local Sony services and the charges (including replacement of main board) will cost about SGD 600 to 800. So it is not worth the service; I can use this amount to get a new TV.
I find it a pity that the whole TV is redundant due to the main-board / firmware issues; the panel is still in good condition. So I am trying my best to look for solutions without having to seek the costly services from Sony Support.
Thanks in advance!
Hi, just download the latest firmware and install it (latest is 6.6.575) from here: https://www.sony-asia.com/electronics/support/televisions-projectors-lcd-tvs-android-/kd-55x8000g

Thanks for the info but I already did managed to solve the bricked issue with another method.
However, when I updated to 6.6.575. Many issues from the previous firmware still persist. TV will reboot randomly; some apps will crash randomly too.
Any idea to solve this issue?
how you solved the brick? I think you didn't solved it right when I read the issues you still have.

This is what I did after researching online:
1) You must first get a flashdrive / thumbdrive which must have minimal storage of 32GB and be formatted to FAT32.
2) Download the latest .pkg file from Sony support for your model.
3) Transfer the .pkg file to your thumbdrive.
4) You attempt a factory reset via power +vol down button. I am pretty sure that you know this method from Sony Support website.
5) If unsuccessful where you encounter the frozen screen, insert your thumbdrive while the TV is powered on.
6) After inserting thumbdrive, power off the TV by removing the power plug.
7) Attempt factory reset with the power + vol. down button again, and just let it run where it will show a white circle (may take up to an hour), this step is actually like a forced firmware update where the TV will factory reset and update from the .pkg file at the same time, hoping that it will re-flash / reformat your firmware properly, but if exceeds an hour, just power off and take out your thumbdrive.
8) Power on your TV again, and after a few minutes, it should be able to proceed to your welcome screen. but note that it will reboot again for second time, so don't enter any information for the first time.
9) For the second welcome screen, just ignore and skip all the settings until you come to the home screen.
10) At home screen, you just go setting and try to find the factory data reset and select that option.
11) After factory reset, just do all the settings shown in the welcome screen.
12) You are good to go.

but do note that I am still having random reboot after upgrading to the latest firmware.
When at previous firmware, I had random reboot, so I did factory reset many time but to no success. Keep factory resetting until it suddenly became bricked.
This explained why I was asking here for advice to solve the brick, but few days later I managed to research and came up with a method in attempt to bypass the bricked / freeze screen which was successful.
but now it is the random reboot which I am unable to figure out.
Do you have some Harddrives or some peripherals connected to TV? Have you done the step 10 in the guide you posted?
