Probably your best bet is to wait for a cm10 build with language translations. This is a us variant of the galaxy sii so night a huge demand for languages other than English and Spanish.

I want to win the lottery, but that isn't happening so...
For stock, I have heard of apps that can switch the language even if not listed as available. You'll need to search around and see if one is available in Arabic. Otherwise you'll have to wait for an AOSP build that supports it.
Try Rosetta Stone demanding one.

ok.. I have seen this thread today and I'm ashamed. The spirit of XDA is to be helpful. I believe if you don't have anything helpful to say,than don't say anything.As for the people in the thread asking for Arabic...Please try and help yourselves also. I searched(arabic language suppoert for e4gt) and got back over 12,000 results. I believe XDA is here to help,but you must try to help yourself first. I'm not trying to flame anybody, but for this thread to be here for a year and no help is beyond me...Again to the thread op...Read...Read...Read..That is how you will learn and I bet if you find the solution yourself. Well a solution was posted before. While it is in the spirit of xda for people to help, like you said sometimes it means helping yourself. Such as this case. Most members of this section have no need for an arabic language. I have yet to see an arabic language on this phone. There may be something out there. But a majority of use dont need it so we wouldn't go looking for it. If the op needs it he needs to find a way to put it in. Thank you for the link you posted. I assume you needed it for yourself or someone else before. He typed in all caps in a way that seemed like he was entitled to having everyone searching for him. Thats not what xda is about. Again thank you for this link. And op if you want something and don't see it google it. I am sure there is a way to put whatever you want into any rom. If you had a specific question like "does any one know how to install an arabic language? I have the files needed because I have searched and found them. Just need to know where to put them." I am sure lots of people would be able to direct the op.

I didnt need the mod for this myself, just seen it and read it,clicked links, and thought maybe the link I posted would be more help for them. Thanks

I had not paid attention before today, but I noticed that Calkulin is not a recognized developer! I looked up what is required and he seems to fit the bill.
Maybe he has not filled out an application. I think in his case the moderators should upgrade him to Recognized Developer with or without an application. When I first purchased this phone and was trying to decide on which rom to start with, it became obvious that he was recognized even without the title. I saw more than one person posted that they bought this phone because they saw him developing for it. He is very involved with every leak or upgrade. His interaction with everyone is exemplary. His work provides a good base for other developers working with our phone.
Either way, Thanks Calk for all of your hard work. A lot of us appreciate it.
Edit: Thanks for thanking me, but I haven't developed anything. Go find something of Calk's that you have not thanked him for and thank him. He is the one that deserves it! And remember to thank the other developers and people that help.
I assume that maybe he doesn't want to have that status. He is most definitely a Dev though. I've used his ROM's since the Windows mobile days.... Very smart man =)

I totally agree on this one... before cm9 came his from is the only thing I would run as a dd.... I would play with others but always end up back at calk!

I think that everyone agrees with you. He is too busy developing to care if he has a title on this site. It hasn't and won't keep him from developing. I have seen a number of recognized developers around the forums and thought that he deserved it. In the OP I said that he maybe hadn't filled out an application, and he probably has not and doesn't care.
I was just posting because I thought he deserved the sign of respect.

I'm quite sure this is the deal.
He'd been developing for the OG EVO for a long time here on XDA as well. He knows he's a great Dev, the community knows he's a great Dev, and that's really all that matters. He obviously doesn't care about titles and I respect him for that.
I always wondered about those. Seems like a lot of well know themers\devs do not have recegnized developer or themer. I would love to know how they choose.
There is only one benifit to having that title. Being able to lock and close your own threads. That's it. Other than that its just words. Everyone knows Calk is extremely talented and that's all that really matters. So I don't blame him for not worring about it. I have seen many with that title and Calk deserves it way more then they did. But ah well. If he ever wants it just has to fill out the form.
Who is Calkulin and what does he do?
PS: he saved my Samsung Moment from flying into a brick wall at 50 MPH.

I don't think anyone mentioned him being the desperate. I think that "Hint: If you're desperate for such a title, you don't deserve it. " was meant in general to others who just want to release kanged ROM's and claim all work or demand the dev status right away.

Agreed. That was my first experience with his work and then I used his work on my brother's Evo. Now I use it on this once again. I can' ask for a more dedicated developer. Glad he picked this phone up to dev on.
This is the first time I have used any of his work. He never did anything on my previous phone. But still, from what I've seen he seem like a really cool cat. Respected and rightfully so and never harsh to answer a question. I think it would be nice for him to have the title so he could have more control over his threads and such. But he doesn't need it to get mine or many others respect.

Calkulin's ROMs were my first experience with anything other than stock rooted. I like his work and think this community would miss him tremendously if he left.
I have run Calkulin's roms on, I believe, 5 devices going back several years. I also used his kitchen to cook my own Windows Mobile roms back in the day.
The man is a legend.

Odin the Valen stock (any other recovery after stock patches any customer recovery), after odining to Valen, odin a custom recovery, then flash whatever you want.

I for one was not trying to be rude, I think it was actually fairly informative to be honest... It showed him how to google AND see the responses, i.e. videos, links, etc. Now if you're referring to the OP who wasn't even clear on what he wanted... then I agree. And I for one have never expected to be thanked. I make sure to thank those that help me, but that's just me

Yes i trying.. it has got 8languages, but it hasn't got turkish language..
There was a guy a couple weeks ago trying to do the same thing but with Russian.
Dont know if he ever found a solution. Maybe search for that thread and pm him to see if he knows what to do?

I honestly have no idea on that. Youll have to check the roms in development section to see what languages are supported for each one.
Ive never had to deal with different languages on any device. Thats why i mentioned checking for that other thread. Figured if i cant help you myself maybe i can point you towards someone who can. Always a chance someone else will jump in with what you need too.

I guess you didnt understand my question.
You cannot run whole ROM (phone) on ur language. It needs alot of work for devs and samsung is not going to do that.
If you want to read content on apps on your language , you can do that. I have done that in my language.
You need to change fonts on your system.

Agreed, I always thought his posts were so similar but avoided passing judgment without knowing, but that screenshot proves it. It wouldn't be so bad if he would just own up to it instead of lying.

No one here wants him to quit developing.. But we want him test his roms himself and only build them if he owns the device.. And I'm sure the Devs here would appreciate it if he wouldn't pull things out of their roms and use it without permission

Speak for yourself. I'd love it if our dev section didn't have any garbage that bricks peoples phones. This guy's been on a roll for a while. Honestly I'd love it if he'd stop dev'ing it'd save people a lot of time.

+ a googleplex, this guy wants recognition without putting in work or recognizing anybody else's. He needs to stop pestering us and go get some psychological help.
So anyone know what happened to his "illusuon" ROM post? I was waiting for a mod but went to bed and when I woke up it was gone. I'm guessing he deleted it to avoid the ban hammer that was coming.

Ok, I don't know much but hopefully they get this solved I really like his ROM..
Why? He just updates his rom more commonly (all 800mb+) and breaks things a lot and steals others hard work without asking, or giving credit to them. (Allegedly), with proof, of course. I say use Frosty or Evil with the available themes in the themes and apps section. Xquizits roms always seemed okay... but too many broken things caused by pointless updates that are way too huge and should only require a seperate flashable 20mb zip.

I was with MIUI from Froyo but they are having problems with the JB, ok i will check them out. Which is the better of the 2?
Personal preferance. Try and see for yourself. they both feel extremely fast and I use seperate kernel usually so I can't attest to battery on either... just read the last 3-5 pages of each and make a decision that way.

If he missed someone then I personally would say sorry but he is awesome Dev. and if he missed someone, he's only human and forget what he put in your work sometimes.
I hope this gets resolved or at least someone explain why it's closed.

Yes I agree, I have been with his ROM since I stopped using MIUI and yesterday I was lossed when I saw the message stating that I was closed. I am hoping everything works out for him as well
There's a deference in using someones work and saying thanks to them, or giving credit, and stealing there work without asking and claiming it to be your own. Pretty much being a thief... If people were to donate to him cause of his rom that is wrongfully going to the person. EvilArt created hidden code and such in his work and he posted that XquiziT was using it in his roms and not giving credit. Other's have mentioned this as well about his roms. It's sad and sucks and I hope there was just some confusion, but evidence is evidence.

Yes I used the word "Wicked" in my Rom but nothing else. Wanam's 15 toggle code is where that word
came from a compare I did when my mod was fc'ing. I have done all my own mods why would I use Wicked's and the SystemUI.apk at that. Nothing special about that file and prob 85% or more of the S3 Roms are the same mods and would compare except the word "Wicked" that yes I included.
Anyway I will keep doing Roms for myself but will no longer be a part of XDA. Not because of XDA, because of what goes on there.

Well that sucks. I like Wild's ROMs and he may have took others work, but hell....the same code floats around from DEV to DEV anyway.
SN: Wicked ROM is actually pretty nice. I tried it once it was proven that Wild was stealing code from Evil. I think Wicked ROM needs inverted apps though. They make the ROMs like so much more classier!
Anyway, thanks Wild for all of your work and efforts. You put a lot of time into updating your ROMs and I'm sad to see you go bro.
