Sounds like your using Google voice. If so you need to go onto their desktop site log in and switch off call screening.

Sending Text message while receiving call

Hey,
i recently got a HTC Touch Pro 2 and i'm quite happy with it. Nice phone all in all. Just that when i receive a call while the phone is in my pocket it automatically presses the "send text message" button in the right bottom. This makes it send the message "I am busy right now i'll call u back later" blabla. Anyone knows how to turn this off?
I have looked around this forum, google and the phone itself but i can't find it anywhere..
Thanks!
Phone, Menu, Options, Advanced tab.
Uncheck "reject call with text message".
The button you are pressing is rejecting the call. It will keep doing this, just without sending a text.

Hm is there a way to fully disable the button? I prefer using the slide to refuse a call, not just press a button. Also i'm using the default HTC WM 6.5 rom..

Yeah it does, but the problem is i keep accidentally pressing the button in the bottom right. This making me refuse the call without wanting it.

[Q] No dialpad option while making a phonecall

I have a Galaxy Nexus with android 4.1.1. but every time i make a call i cant find a dial pad option. its there when before i make the call but during a call i cant seem to find it. so i cant use phone cards, enter my voice mail password, enter extensions, etc... if anyone out there knows where to find it please let me know.
Bottom of the call screen. Little icon that looks like a dial pad shows/hides it. Hidden by default presumably to cut down on accidental inputs by your face.

[Q] vibrate+ringtone while on the phone

While im talking to somebody, the phone will play my ringtone in my ear along with its vibrate, i went through call settings and could not find a way to disable it, even after searching multiple threads...help please?
If you open the phone app then hit the menu button. Once there look under call alerts, it should be the one with the check box.

How to put a call on hold and answer the incoming call?

Forgive me, but... Even after 2 months with the phone I still can't put a call on hold and answer an incoming call.
It was so simple with the iPhone...
You got an incoming call and you get 3 choices.... with 3 buttons... none of that swipe nonsense.
Ignore Call
Hold Call + Answer
End Call + Answer
On the android,.. you have to swipe.. then it "prompts" you briefly... if you choose hold call.. it will still end the call and on most occasions it just drops both calls.
Why so simple things get so complicated?
Is there a manual or tutorial for this simple action?
Thanks
No problems here. If I get a call while on a call I get a pop up asking me to either end current call, put current call on hold and answer and a 3rd option I think is reject incoming call. Not sure if that is exact wording on options but haven't had any issues using any of them.

Well i get the 2 options to swipe... answer or cancel
Once I swipe, another option appears... no matter what I do... it ends both calls.

Are you running stock ROM? Can you post some screen shots or video?
When I am on a call and the phone rings I get a pop up like the other guy said.
Are you running a different dialer?

i as well get the pop up with three options
answer the call
put call on hold and answer
and i believe the third one is reject call
they all seem to work ok, they do what they say they are going to do anyway...none of them just hang everyone up, lol

[Q] bypassing Screenlock b on incoming calls

Does anyone know how I can bypass the Screen Lock on a Samsung Galaxy S4 (Rooted stock 4.2.2) when an incoming call is ringing the phone?
I have hd caller ID that has an easy way to answer the phone, but my wife does not know how to open the Screen Lock so she can't answer the phone when I'm busy in the yard, garage, etc.
I've been looking for a quick fix, but I have not come across anything usable.
Thanks all of you for all your help to everyone that asks for it. Your answers often helps many individuals that have the same needs!
Aloha!
I am not sure if I completely understand. Are you saying that you have to unlock your phone to answer an incoming phone call? :/

Yes, the screenlock is still showing the big orange balloon.... I have to swipe the dots, then press answer.
That's weird cause even with screen lock, if there's an incoming call you should only need to swipe to answer or reject.

Are you running any lock screen programs like GoLocker or something similar? Default Android behaviour is to allow you to accept incoming calls without putting in your PIN/Pattern/Password. If you are not running another locker, then open up your dialer, press the menu soft key, and check your "call settings" options. Check the behaviours where you can press the home button to accept calls and see if you can accept calls that way. If not, remove your security code, restart your phone, and set it again. Let us know if any of these work for you.
