[Q] i need help possibly bricked galaxy sii

i have been following xda for quite some time now and have some experience rooting and flashing custom roms. my htc sensation was fully rooted running cm7 before i upgraded to tmobiles galaxy sii, finally got the galaxy sii rooted today had it for about a week. downloaded a custom rom and kernel from the internet from this link... galaxys2root went into recovery made a backup, factory reset, cleared cache and wiped dalvik cache. then proceeded to flash a custom kernel to the stock os which was the Siyah Kernel. the installation was a success then still in recovery everytime i hit the power button it would turn off the screen, so i pulled the battery and tried to restart it. now it does nothing no vibration when i hold down power, cant get it into recovery, cant even get it to charge. i am aware of my mistake now which was flashing an att galaxy sii kernel to my tmobile phone. but i have no idea how to fix this error. PLEASE HELP!!!
Can u hold volime up and down and plug phone into USB via computer while the phone is off? If so download mode should appear. If you can access download move, look in Android development and download the .tar for stock. Select pda in Odin and select the .tar and flash the stock T989 ROM. Or if you can access recovery, do the super wipe and flash a separate ROM. If I helPed, hit thanks button

It is most definitely toast. You can try a jig, but it will most likely not work. It must be sent in for warranty or jtag'd

You got it from GalaxyS2Root? They have all the S2s ROMs. Probably installed one not for our S2. Yep, totally fried. Try to get someone to J-Tag it. Theres plenty of people on this forum. Price ranges from $50 to $80. Good Luck
Tried putting it into download mode and bringing it into recovery no luck the phone is completely unresponsive. But I thought rooted phones aren't covered in warranties?

That won't do anything for him and his hard brick. That's for soft bricks.

And then they wouldn't even warranty it. Terrible suggestion.

Phone stuck at Samsung Logo Screen

Hey guys i am completely stumped.
I tried flashing the aristodemos rom into my phone and ever since then i cant get past the logo screen.
I was running the paranoidandroid rom through the AOSP JB kt474 kernel before i flashed the aristodemos rom.
Since then i have tried flashing the stock kernel and the stock pre-rooted Rogers rom with no luck.
My last shot at it was downloading the Official stock firmware of the sgh-i747m for rogers from the samsung-updates website.
Can someone please help me out here i have tried to hold back and not start my own thread and just look around in the forums but i cant seem to find any solution.
So, if you have any idea on how i can get my phone back up and running please help!
Can you get into recovery mode or not?

Download cm10 and the gaaps and flash them in that order in your recovery. Your phone should work afterwards. Makes sure you clear cache /dev before flash.

Just an idea:
Remove the battery
Hold power button down for about 30s
Replace the battery
Restart in recovery
Factory reset (or equivalent: I do not know ARHD recovery menu)
Reboot.
Hope that helps...

Did you try wiping the dalvik cache before and after installing the ROM?

no need to use aroma installer for wiping or such?
If its stuck at the logo, hook it up to your PC and run an adb logcat, which will show you what then phone is boot looping on.

You are at wrong forum, here is for note 2. If you flashed note 2 rom to s3 is normally to don't boot. Try stock sammy firmware via pc odin. The correct one if you don't know which rom to flash ask for help at s3 forum.

[Q] Bricked... Hard.

Hey I have a sgs3 att baseband lh9 and I'm on a Verizon multi carrier rom synergy. I flashed the aosp mms from the att thread and now my phone is bricked and will not go to cwm or download mode. It does however pass the Samsung galaxy screen onto the custom boot and sits there... What should I do to be able to revive my phone?

I had the samething happen to me but with a different ROM. I RMAed it through AT&T Warranty, but you could try Samsung. But it is dead. Nothing else to do by call Rogers or Samsung. Since I got my replacement back, I have rooted it and thats all.
