Phone stuck at Samsung Logo Screen - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Hey guys i am completely stumped.
I tried flashing the aristodemos rom into my phone and ever since then i cant get past the logo screen.
I was running the paranoidandroid rom through the AOSP JB kt474 kernel before i flashed the aristodemos rom.
Since then i have tried flashing the stock kernel and the stock pre-rooted Rogers rom with no luck.
My last shot at it was downloading the Official stock firmware of the sgh-i747m for rogers from the samsung-updates website.
Can someone please help me out here i have tried to hold back and not start my own thread and just look around in the forums but i cant seem to find any solution.
So, if you have any idea on how i can get my phone back up and running please help!

Can you get into recovery mode or not?

Download cm10 and the gaaps and flash them in that order in your recovery. Your phone should work afterwards. Makes sure you clear cache /dev before flash.

Well that was simple. Thanks a lot
This goes in question and answers
or flash a backup that worked

[Q] Soft brick

So I was trying to flash a rom today and ended up soft bricking because the file was bad. Didn't get the chance to flash the new rom and already wiped data. The backup I did was also not working and I didn't have another rom to flash.
Now I am stuck on Samsung boot logo but I could still access download mode and CWM.
What should I do to fix this? Should I just flash to stock firmware and that would fix the issue? Or is there an easier way?
Basically I just need to push the new downloaded rom into sdcard but how do I do that when my phone wont even boot?

Odin back to stock or use an external SD card with the new ROM files.

If you're reasonably competent with adb, you could also boot into recovery and upload a different ROM file to your phone with it.

New question, sorry for being such a noob. I tried rooting using GS3 Snapdragon Toolkit to root but the problem now is that when after it reboots, the screen is black and there is only flashing blue LED. What am I doing wrong?

Did you try to use the toolkit with a Jelly Bean stock? It explicitly can't do that.
Since you're using Odin anyway, you might try one of the pre-rooted stock images from this thread.

Need help asap!!!! Bricked phone!!!

hey guys I need some help now i'm new to this rooting process so i'm not to sure how it all works 100%. So i got it rooted and everything and i went to install a custom rom which I wanted to just upgrade from stock ice cream sandwich to jellybean. So now i'm stuck on the never ending Samsung screen. Now i've done my fair share of research and tried different things to unbrick my phone. Here are those things:
Tried to do the factory reset in stock recovery that's loaded after ROM install with Odin, no go.
Tired to Install CWM recovery and tried to do reset / wipe cache/ wiped davlik/ no go
Tried to re-download ROM and tried again, no go.
Now i'm still stuck at Samsung logo and i've waited good 15 to 20 min and still stuck.
So someone please help!
Thank you so much in advance!
What Jelly Bean image did you flash, exactly, and how?

that's the rom i tried to flash and I tired doing it via mobileOdin on my device.
Try using desktop Odin to flash it.
EDIT: perhaps try using desktop Odin to flash a stock (rooted) ROM from here, then use CWM/TWRP to flash the ROM you were trying to install; based on that thread I'm guessing the ROM is meant to be recovery-flashed.
Please desktop Odin flash stock firmware. Once that is done, factory reset through factory recovery.
Custom roms should be flashed through CWM or TWRP.

product name:SGH-I747
Custom Binary Download: Yes (10 counts) - tried many times to flash to stock
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Custom
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
it also says Downloading... Do not turn off target!!
thought i should let you know.
Recovery is vol up + home + power
Sounds like your volume down to download mode

well that explains alot lol i didint know there was a difference between volume up and volume down button when trying to put into recovery mode.. i feel like and idiot now lol but yes that worked thank you so much! im still a noob at this but with trial and error i shall learn.. thanks again!
Make sure that you wipe the cache prior to installing a ROM. A lot of times failing to do that can result in a bootloop like you are describing. When in doubt, go to recovery and wipe the cache before taking more drastic steps like reflashing.

Easiest thing would be to put a ROM on an SD card and flash it in recovery.
Other option is to Odin back to stock in download.
Edit.....
For future reference here is task's full wipe video to avoid wiping something by accident.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dYSumHaxwI&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Also please remember to flash and wipe exactly as instructed in the ROM thread

My computers will not recognize the phone now
With your ROM being wiped your computer won't recognize your phone unless you are in download mode using Odin to go back to stock.
If you don't have a SD card adapter to put in your computer to put a rom on you'll have to Odin back to stock.

I don't know what carrier you are on but use this guide to download the proper stock (unrooted, you'll need to re-root) ROM for your specific carrier.
All the tools and instructions you need are on this site. Unsure how to use Odin? Try a youtube search for your carrier and model.

I find that if you successfully flash a ROM and get stuck in a boot loop to reboot into recovery and factory reset. Seems to work.

Flashing stock is pretty much your only option. From there, you can flash a custom recovery and then CM10.

Help, stuck in a boot-loop

I rooted my Note II with SU. I have not flashed any roms, still running stock. The problem is this: I downloaded Triangle Away and reseted counter. Then I uninstalled it, and did a full unroot with SU. Status still said "modified" so I then did a hard reset of the phone. Now, it's stuck in a boot-loop wth the "Samsung Galaxy Note II" logo.
I have no idea what to do, and I guess I had no idea what I was doing. Please help me out!
wipe data and cache in recovery mode
I had the same unfortunate situation with you pal. I tried ti root my note 2 before and same things you did then bootloop occured. What I did was I downloaded my firmware and flashed via odin in pc. I cannot go to recovery before that.. now everything is fine. I will never try to root again unless I really needed it. Hoped I helped you

Go into recovery and select factory reset.
If that doesn't help just flash any rom released January onwards

Flash stock firmware. Look for ketan's thread in original development section.
