Need help asap!!!! Bricked phone!!! - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

hey guys I need some help now i'm new to this rooting process so i'm not to sure how it all works 100%. So i got it rooted and everything and i went to install a custom rom which I wanted to just upgrade from stock ice cream sandwich to jellybean. So now i'm stuck on the never ending Samsung screen. Now i've done my fair share of research and tried different things to unbrick my phone. Here are those things:
Tried to do the factory reset in stock recovery that's loaded after ROM install with Odin, no go.
Tired to Install CWM recovery and tried to do reset / wipe cache/ wiped davlik/ no go
Tried to re-download ROM and tried again, no go.
Now i'm still stuck at Samsung logo and i've waited good 15 to 20 min and still stuck.
So someone please help!
Thank you so much in advance!

What Jelly Bean image did you flash, exactly, and how?

that's the rom i tried to flash and I tired doing it via mobileOdin on my device.

Try using desktop Odin to flash it.
EDIT: perhaps try using desktop Odin to flash a stock (rooted) ROM from here, then use CWM/TWRP to flash the ROM you were trying to install; based on that thread I'm guessing the ROM is meant to be recovery-flashed.

Please desktop Odin flash stock firmware. Once that is done, factory reset through factory recovery.
Custom roms should be flashed through CWM or TWRP.

yeah i've tried that but still the same problem. Also when i put it into recovery mode it goes into Odin mode and it says:
product name:SGH-I747
Custom Binary Download: Yes (10 counts) - tried many times to flash to stock
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Custom
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
it also says Downloading... Do not turn off target!!
thought i should let you know.

Recovery is vol up + home + power
Sounds like your volume down to download mode

well that explains alot lol i didint know there was a difference between volume up and volume down button when trying to put into recovery mode.. i feel like and idiot now lol but yes that worked thank you so much! im still a noob at this but with trial and error i shall learn.. thanks again!

Make sure that you wipe the cache prior to installing a ROM. A lot of times failing to do that can result in a bootloop like you are describing. When in doubt, go to recovery and wipe the cache before taking more drastic steps like reflashing.

Would Rerooting help?

So somehow someway my phone is on the "Galaxy S 2 Yellow triangle with exclamation mark" screen and wont boot up.
I simply wiped factory reset, and dalvik ( coming from Caulks Rom ) and then flashed Blazer Rom 3.7 and it never went past that screen.
My question is can i simply re root on my mac and would my phone go back to stock rooted OS? Or do I have to restore it through Odin?
Note I did backup my previous rom!
Sorry forgot to mention I cant access recovery either! I hold down volume up and power and nothing just stays on the yellow triangle screen...

Get calks format all ...flash it and then go to advanced and wipe system and then flash new ROM .... If it still doesn't work check md5 on the ROM that it's a good download if it's not redownload and flash ....you can always restore your back up

I would definitely recommend going this route. Follow the instructions in this thread it will help you to install ACS (CWM) Recovery.

for future reference recovery is volume Up + power. not down.
From the sounds of it id say you may need to flash more than the kernal I was in a similar situation where my recovery wouldnt work and I couldnt boot into the rom and I had to flash back to stock through Odin to get it working again. Then after that I re rooted and flashed a rom.

Im not sure, when it happened to me there wasnt a way. Its really simple though I mean when I did it I was back up and running, rerooted, and running a rom in about 10 minutes if that.
This is the file you would need to flash the stock tar file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1409634 this is what I used then after I just re rooted.

Yes but instead of ODIN you'll use Heimdall. There's a guide in the link below.

I've been in this situation before, you have a bad flash.... you have to odin back to stock redownlaod the rom you installed and try again... the yellow triangle will probably still be there but the phone will boot. i bought a jig to get rid of my yellow triangle (It really bothered me and the jig was like a buck)

Yes that guide is for rooting but you can flash ROM's with Heimdall too. Just do a Google search for it and you'll see. Either that or find yourself a windows box and ODIN a rooted ROM with clockwork recovery and then restore your backup.

Odin flashable stock ROM?

After playing around wth ROMs I've got bootloop (although should not - just factory reset and cache/dalvik wipe).
Now I need odin flashable stock (preferably) ROM. I tried to find it here and no luck.
Can some1 help me? Canadian or AT&T version should work
POWER OFF PHONE....... Once it’s turned off, press volume up + power button + home button simultaneously and keep them pressed until you see the recovery mode...
Now clear cache, and dalvik cache....then do a factory reset within this menu. Once done reboot....This helps when bootloops occur...try this before using odin..its worked for me and many others...

Buddy, I know what bootloop is and how to get rid of it I tried this yesterday night couple of times - it doesn't work.
Now, I cannot mount internal sdcard as USB device. in advanced I'm choosing this option, but nothing happens. I do not have (yet) external microsdxc card (ordered a day before).
So, the only way for me to fix that is to find odin flashable ROM. Have some1 saw it somewhere?

Well you dont have choice if you cant flash anything since you cant get to recovery mode pick your rom here and flash via odin. They are all root injected rom already just make sure you use rom that matches your network.

The thing is - I CAN get to CWM, but due to lack of space (well, to be completely honest with ya - my stupidy) I deleted good CWM flashable ROM (Jedi 3.2) which was working for me to give a space for the new one (Jedi 3.3). I broke my personal rule #1 - all the times have a chance to reflash back thus to have a copy of good working ROM on sdcard. Now I'm stuck:
- in CWM I can flash smth, but there's no good ROM on sdcard
- I tried to to hook up the phone as USB storage. It was working for me on my previous Captivate w/o any hiccups and I was thinkng it will do the job on Note2. As I can see - not really: I'm selecting "USB Storage", but nothing happends. I tried linux and windows PCs, different cables and ports (front and back ones), I installed Samsung drivers on windows machines - nothing. That mean I cannot put anything on sdcard.
- the most funny thing - an hour before that I bought Sandisk 64GB microsdxc card on ebay to be able to keep ROMs on my phone. But for now I don't have one to put firmware on it to be able to flash it.
- I checked download mode - I can get there as well. Looks the only way for me to alive my phone.
Again, thanks a lot, guys, really appreciate your help I'll download this tonight and will flash. I'll keep you posted with results.
BTW, I think it's a good idea for some1 like me stuck in bootloop to be able to get these ROMs from "[REF] Your one-stop shop for the Note II (Kernels, Roms, Guides, Modems, Etc.)" topic. I think I have to PM moderators to ask them to do so.

Hey guys,
I've been flashing ROMS for years and this is my first real issue.
I tried to upgrade from an earlier version of CM10 to the newest one. After I flashed GAPPS this caused the phone to get stuck on reboot so I went back to CWM recovery.
ALL MY DOWNLOADED FILES WERE GONE IN CWM. Including all the roms I had, and my NANDROID backup (which I would have just reflashed right there).
I tried to Odin back to stock and it passes but gets stuck on the Samsung boot logo every time.
I've tried to scour threads on XDA and on Google. The closest thing I found was a thread where it mentioned I'd need Tmobile Bootchain commands but I can't find those either.
All help is greatly appreciated.
Have you tried to Odin using a different computer.. or redownload Odin and the files needed
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Odin the stock firmware you mean from a different comp? I don't think that is the issue since Odin shows that the flash was successful. The phone reboots itself and it gets passed the Samsung Galaxy S3 screen to the Tmobile Android 4g boot animation.
Additionally, people in the Verizon S3 forum are describing my issue exactly here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840030)

I can't get into stock recovery man, or any kind of recovery.Holding vol up + home + power hangs permanently after the SGS 3 boot screen, nothing happens.
Go to Doc's stickie and I think it is in the 2nd post, there is an Odin flashable version of TWRP (maybe a copy of CWR but since I don't use it I'm not sure).
Flash that and let it "try" and reboot. It won't but you can do the key combo to get into TWRP recovery and either flash a ROM, Restore or at the very least Factory Reset, which would be my first choice.
Somewhere back there in your efforts, I think you may have erased your internal and if that is where your backups were kept then that might be why they are gone. Just a thought though.
In odin, uncheck auto reboot. Flash the recovery tar in pda spot. When it says pass, pull the battery and boot into recovery with volume up, home, and power. Release the power button when u feel the vibrate. Then thank mrmako777 for teaching me this tonight

HELP PLEASE t889V stuck on Samsung logo

Hi Guys need help bad. I hope I didnt screw my phone up.
I rooted my phone using the latest toolkit and installed twrp. Once i did that I backed up everything including efs on the external card.
Once i did that I flashed Jedi x rom but did not have much signal so decided to flash another rom which was liquid smooth. Once I flashed it again
my signal was almost non existent. I downloaded a canadian modem in the zip file and flashed it using twrp the same way i would flash a rom.
After i did that i wiped all the data and cache and the system. As I was rushing it siince its late at night i got a message saying that I am not rooted. I ignored it and rebooted the system and now its stuck on samsung logo. What can i do? Please help!!!!!
It appears that when I hold vol up plus home plus power I can get into download mode. I hope that helps.
Can someone give me some help how to get it back to life. I am pretty sure I have to use Odin at this point but dont know how
Ok i did some reading and I think the next step is to download stock image for the wind mobile turn on Odin and upload the image to the phone..
What settings should I use in Odin? What should be checked at the top and am I to use PDA only?
You can use odin or just reflash the ROM. You said tout wiped system after flashing the modern. That means you erased what ever ROM was on there. It's sticking at Samsung because there is no ROM to boot into.

Have you puked the battery. Put it back in then held volume+, home and power? Your recovery should still be there.
Also, odin is easy. Just open it and click the pda box and put your stock ROM there. Two things make sure you put your image in PDA and PDA ONLY and make sure it's your official stock Image

When I did this approach, I did it in two steps. I downloaded factory image of the firmware and flashed the device by using Odin 3.0.7.
Next, I used a tool package called "Galaxy Note2 ToolKit." Follow the instructions for how to root.
When I did the procedure, the software also had an option to include clockworkmod recovery
and busybox.

in need of major help

so i updated to 4.3 but really didn't like cause it was draining my battery. I went to odin to go back to 4.1.2 and now it wont't complete it always abort. On phone it say system status custom, knox warranty void 1. Then it will say unsupported version so i guess its talking about the stock 4.1.2 tar. Some have any idea what to do?

Just to make sure you did the ota update to 4.3 and tried to flash back to 4.1.2 or you were on a 4.3 rom? I will follow steps but don't i need to root before i flash a custom recovery? If so im screwed cause i won't be able to turn on debug mode or what need to be turned on in developer options.
Even on stock, just go to settings, Other, about device, scroll down to build, tap on build 5 times and it will unlock developer mode for debugging.

Use odin flash twrp recovery, then boot into twrp wipe caches and fatory reset then flash a stock 4.1.2 Rom that's what i did .. But the first time you wipe everything with twrp it might book back into twrp but just keep rebooting till it reboots to the stock room. Thats what i did now
