[Here we go again....soo good to be back on ff18 you have no idea...ok, so we have a stock ff18 rom with team venum's recovery kernel baked in, calks tweaks from his series of e4gt roms, venum's personal tweaks added and a few tweaks ive found on xda...very slim, and VERY FAST
The gear:
Calk's bare rom converter used to trim the fat
Calks camera app added(can take pics while on a phone call)
5mb limit, clearer pic mms.apk(changed icon back to stock)(thanks guy who posted this in t&a!!!!!!!!!)
Hacked hotspot(thanks rujelus!!!)
Flashing instructions:
Full wipe recommended, that means....
Wipe cache
Wipe data
Wipe dalvik cache
Calks format all(you can find this in any of his actual threads)
Flash rom
Enjoy
(preferably in stock el26 cwm if possible)
I am not responsible if you brick your phone, but if you have problems i will help however i can
If you use an overclock app like tegrak, it takes a bit for tweaks to get used to that, i overclocked with tegrak paid version to 1600 mhz, 1350 core voltage, and 267 ghz, phone rebooted halfway through stability check, tried again after reboot to settings listed above and it's stable at that now with no reboots(just fyi)

hit he back button till it takes you back to the " click here to download. "... it will then start the clock to download... i dont know why you have to do this but it happens all the time with 4shared

Exactly what I did once I got some know how was a joke anyways yes your were correct about fresh install but usally data clearing on that specific app is first just for future refrence

Is your internal memory full? Happened to me before, after I filled my phone up with music. And it wouldn't even tell me memory is full, it just failed downloads. Moved/deleted some files and downloads worked fine after.

Did you buy a used phone? Might be an internal hardware issue.
Firefox or Opera are the only two browsers that work to download anything. Plus while downloading do not exit the app.

Its probably the network.. I noticed running on sprints network whe the phone would go into deep sleep the radio would turn off and download would fail.. My suggestion is to try force roaming with another prl and try to download while roaming.. For some reason when im on sprint prl 60687 using sprints 3g data i have to keep screen on until its finished.. While roaming i can throw it on the charger and come back to a finished download. Or get a browser that will allow you to start/stop the download but this way you might get a bad download.. I wish more devs would use torrents since its way easier to download using adownloader

It's because the file type is not compatible with any apps you have. I had the same problem. Download any file explorer from the play store and it'll work

Go into the market and search "Astro". Its a great file explorer and if you go into "Menu"......."Preferences"....and check box that says "Enable Browser Downloads" then reboot. You can now DL anything from any site.

We have discovered that the FG builds have NO ROAMING OPTION..this won't affect boost flashers though
Here we go!!!! Just wanted to say i tried to do a helluva lot more with this rom but its a complete disaster trying to theme the FG series so far, so i went in a totally different direction...stayed stock...i decided to pull calks tweaks from his e4gt series of roms(thanks calk for everything youve done in the community and for our phones!!!) and added venum's personal tweaks, slapped in team venum recovery modded 2 images to give calk some respect and called it a day...this rom is VERY FAST and VERY STABLE, again, its totally stock, for all you guys out there that miss having a stock calk rom, here's what you're looking for..i apologize for the massive size of the rom, it seems when you remove even basic apps, compile and flash, fg20 gets very angry with you and makes it so the touchscreen is non responsive, no worries though, once booted you seem to be able to remove what you like...
Flashing instructions:
I always recommend going back to el26 cwm(safest way to do it)
Wipe data
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Calk's format all(you can get this on any of calk's rom threads)
Flash rom

Sprint users:
In order to use mms you need your msl #, there are.numerous ways of getting this and they are posted all over xda, get it and then:
1.go to dial pad
2: press ##3282#
3.press edit
4. Enter msl
5. Click other
6. Click mmsc url
7. delete boost info and write this http://mms.sprintpcs.com
8.reboot
If you have any issues with market, apps youve paid for are showing you havent paid for them, then go to accounts and sync in settings and make sure your gmail is fully syncing
If that doesnt work, go to application settings, playstore, and wipe cache, wipe data, force stop, disable, then enable...reboot and should be good
Boost users:
Boost hotspot is not hacked, use wifi.tether instead
Not.sure.if a hacked ff18 sprint hotspot would work, if someone wants to try flashing it let me know and ill change op and link to it

Lifeless removes almost all LG apps and launcher.
This keeps the LG launcher and has most of the LG apps and widgets.

the site doesnt report the file size, so it may not download through your phone. ive had no issues on computer, though it cant give a dl time estimate or %

First and foremost I want to thank Team Chopsticks for all there hard work that went into the whole 4.3 project, all the credit goes to them for this ROM. This is my first 4.3 build and thanks go to @Cl3Kener for all the help he provided.
This ROM is pure CyanogenMod-10.2 compiled with the Linaro toolchain, next build will incorporate more features, I want this ROM to be about you guys, let me know what you want and I'll try to add it in, until then I'm open to ideas. I hope you enjoy it...
Installation Instructions-
Make sure your on the latest twrp (v2.6.1.0)-techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/hercules
Make a nandroid backup always.
Wipe data, system, dalvik cache, cache.
Flash ROM, flash gapps, reboot. Let the ROM settle in for 5-10min.

Is there MP4 support with this ROM? Many 4.3 ROMs I have tried, do not have native MP4 support as of yet.
(Currently switching between CyanKang and Carbon43)

This would be perfect with the camera toggle + good working audio mod like AC¡D & Noozxoide or V4A...
A power button quick toggle would be awesome too - I'd like to keep this physical power button in permanent retirement.

This is totally easy to Add but its a annoyance for me add photosphere camera I have the flashable zip its just a time consuming thing I guess

Tho I know its faster/better to build with.

Focal has Picsphere, same thing, I mean I could add it but I think it would be to many cameras unless I remove either the stock cam or focal n I would need more ppl to request that, more pp seem to like focal

Well it replaces stock and for some reason fixed my picsphere on my s2 idk lol do you have the same problem when you turn of the screen it flashes on and off again I'm not talking about CRT I mean after?

Honestly I haven't seen any issues at all with focal, maybe its me but I've even gone so far as to take pics every way I could and used the gallery to share pis/sphere pics with no issues, I'll look more into it maybe I'll replace the stock app

Yeah I can see that, I clean flashed it and I haven't seen one issue at all, ROK has been super fast/stable and I know every builder is partial to their own build but lol

Great ROM, but...
-MP4 files on the SD Card, cause the Gallery to reboot the phone
-Focal PicSphere doesn't work at all. It force closes Focal
Nothing was dirty flashed, 100% clean install.
@tribalartgod - remove all your videos and photos from the internal and external sd cards, clean flash, take some photos/videos to create a new DCIM directory, wipe dalvik & cache, reboot, then move the old files back into the sd card
