Lifeless removes almost all LG apps and launcher.
This keeps the LG launcher and has most of the LG apps and widgets.

Is this deodexed or odexed? I think the original setup from lgi s odexed but I want to use google now and I think it works better on a deodexed version. Thank you.

the site doesnt report the file size, so it may not download through your phone. ive had no issues on computer, though it cant give a dl time estimate or %

[Here we go again....soo good to be back on ff18 you have no idea...ok, so we have a stock ff18 rom with team venum's recovery kernel baked in, calks tweaks from his series of e4gt roms, venum's personal tweaks added and a few tweaks ive found on xda...very slim, and VERY FAST
The gear:
Calk's bare rom converter used to trim the fat
Calks camera app added(can take pics while on a phone call)
5mb limit, clearer pic mms.apk(changed icon back to stock)(thanks guy who posted this in t&a!!!!!!!!!)
Hacked hotspot(thanks rujelus!!!)
Flashing instructions:
Full wipe recommended, that means....
Wipe cache
Wipe data
Wipe dalvik cache
Calks format all(you can find this in any of his actual threads)

If you use an overclock app like tegrak, it takes a bit for tweaks to get used to that, i overclocked with tegrak paid version to 1600 mhz, 1350 core voltage, and 267 ghz, phone rebooted halfway through stability check, tried again after reboot to settings listed above and it's stable at that now with no reboots(just fyi)

Its like saying "remind me"....If you tell GN "Please tell me" anything it will set an alarm...just like "remind me".
Okay I have read instructions for our devices and I'm kind of confused. Do we need to just download the. Apk file or the zip or both? Do we flash the zip in recovery and that's it? I read the instructions and I'm sorry if I'm a little slow but it just wasn't all that clear to me.

I used the M6 file from this post on that thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29756226&postcount=2856 It's working great so far. The only issue I've found is that you can't exit using the back button. You need to press the home button to exit.
Also, even though the instructions say its for CWM, it's not. You can flash it using any recovery.
Download the M6 file, copy it to your SD card, reboot into recovery and flash it, then reboot and poof you're done.

Turned my double press home button to voice dial and not a voice anymore, I didn't like it. Flashed my TWRP back up and I'm normal again. Good luck!

It just installs like a normal APK. I;m not sure of all the new features, I know they optimized the UI, not sure what all they changed.

As far as I can see from playing 5 minutes with it, only the driving mode is different.
Makes sense since they mentionned on the launch of the S4 that the app was now called S Voice Drive (or something like that).
I'll rehost it for you on my own server - so we don't have to keep dancing with file sharing hosts..
I have unmetered bandwidth so we shouldn't have to worry about links dying and what not..

I pulled these from the system dump. I have a feeling that the AccuWeather app doesn't work on out phones. There was only the weather.apk and the weather deamon.apk.
Since it was a odexed ROM did that mean they had to have their odex file included and only worked on a odexed ROM ?

Try downloading with opera. If not try downloading through one of the many mirrors. Use package installer once downloaded. Worked fine here

I can download it fine and use root explorer to try to install it...it comes up like any other app...with cancel and install at the bottom of the screen...when I hit install, it does nothing...when I hit cancel, it cancels.

Hi all, this is the new tweak I made to VectuS and it is significant enough of a change I figured I'd post it here for all to use (its kinda buried in the VectuS thread lol). Just flash the zip, wipe dalvik and cache and reboot. Makes your screen super fast and twice as responsive! Enjoy! Note: For Sprint Stock based roms and CM based roms. Seconded!
For me, notification drawer and lock screen open more quickly, swiping between app drawer tabs and the like is smoother.
I use the gestures on Nova Launcher a lot, I think they may be recognized more often now.

Having trouble flashing any mods.... Running cm10.1 right now...whenever I try and flash this I just get a failed msg in latest twrp.

I think as long as you use the AOSP version

I have a few times now. whats weird is i cant flash any mods... tried doing the awesome beats one yesterday on stock rom.. same "Failed" message in twrp.

DERP moment... had to turn off zip verification in twrp. worked just fine then.. sorry new too twrp as it was really buggy on my old phone.. i kinda miss cwm..
