Is there MP4 support with this ROM? Many 4.3 ROMs I have tried, do not have native MP4 support as of yet.

This would be perfect with the camera toggle + good working audio mod like AC¡D & Noozxoide or V4A...
A power button quick toggle would be awesome too - I'd like to keep this physical power button in permanent retirement.
@Cameron581 halo will be in next build, hopefully up tonight, @JesusWazBlack No thank u and the whole community for the inspiration to do this at all @zhab Got u man I'll throw some audio in and some toggles, thank u guys for the ideas keep them coming...

Great job! You're a brave guy opening the floor to any kind of requests!!
I know one guy that will go nuts about how super amazing this is cause of linaro!! LOL
Me....I so wish that sugar pill word would go away!
Tho I know its faster/better to build with.
Thanks again! I'll be trying it out for sure once 4.3 gets a little more smoothed out. Even taking my N7 back to 4.2.2 for a bit. Lol

Great ROM, but...
-MP4 files on the SD Card, cause the Gallery to reboot the phone
-Focal PicSphere doesn't work at all. It force closes Focal
Nothing was dirty flashed, 100% clean install.
@tribalartgod - remove all your videos and photos from the internal and external sd cards, clean flash, take some photos/videos to create a new DCIM directory, wipe dalvik & cache, reboot, then move the old files back into the sd card

I might be wrong, but i'm pretty sure you just need to remove the file from your phone. you could use file explore and delete it, or if you're lucky then it will flash as app and you can remove it from your app list. I'm pretty sure it's the first one tho.
Hi guys,
I'm super new to Android. Bought the note 2 as the first android after 10 years of Symbian. I'm completely lost with the flashing thing on Androids.
I have few questions:
1. Does rooting/flashing delete the phone data?
2. If I flash the keyboard and then I flash the camera mod, do I lose my data everytime I add a mod?
3. What else should I do with my Note 2 to get the most out of it?
Thanks

If youre only flashing the camera and keyboard, you dont need to wipe anything, and you dont lose anything either(data). It just puts the 4.2 camera, 4.2 keyboard and 4.2 gallery. As far as other mods, just read on the thread you get them from to see if there are any warnings before flashing. But the golden rule of flashing is always do a nandroid before you flash anything.

when I take a photo in HDR, take 3 photographs and then a text box says "unfortunately the gallery was closed function" you should know this, I'm using 4.2.2 ROM PAC-MAN
Its a Issue from the rom. It happens to me too
ok thanks for your answer friend
Rom issue...
in another post somebody posted if you use a modified gapps it will fix the issue in HDR, i can't confirm this.
I use the modified gapps and still have the issue
This only happens on pac or cm10.1 as well?

am using PAC with the bubbor gapps
now I tried again and it crashed on cm10.1 with bubors gapps. which is interesting because it used to work with the original gapps on cm10. 1, at least one time, I still have a hdr picture taken about a week ago. As you can see on the television, it's "made from" 3 images

If Dpi fix doesnt work you may have to use es file explorer or root explorer and extract the zip, open the folder where you extracted the zip and go to data/data shared prefs and copy the mod settings and post it in data/data/xposed.mod.appsetings/shared_prefs. Change the shared_prefs permissions to rwxrwxrwx

I'm posting this here because the PA4.3 thread has been closed and I don't want to clutter the 4.4 thread asking about an old rom.
I've been lurking for awhile. I have experience with rooting/flashing plenty on the Evo4g (including some AOSP). On my Note 2, I've stuck to TW roms on my Note 2. Im looking to hop into the AOSP world and I think this is the ROM I want to try (the kitkat version doesn't have features/stability from what I've read). However, I have a couple questions.
1) Of course I will nandroid my TW rom. If I decide I want to go back, is it as simple as restoring my backup? Or are there additional steps going from AOSP back to TW nandroid?
2) I see various versions/builds & kernels listed in this thread? Can someone please suggest a reliably stable build/kernel for me to start out with that has everything working?

Hey, I've been running paranoid 3.99 for a while and it has great battery life, even on stock rom, you can use plasma kernel with it or Devil kernel, your choice, flash the latest stable and you should be fine, also look for the SD card restore zip if you ever go back to TW you are going to need it, its buried in to the cm 10 thread just look for it, also make sure you get stweaks from play store and if you have issues send me a pm and I will be glad to help you, good luck!

Let me know what file you need and I'll upload it to my dropbox, you don't need a SD card, just get the room zip in the root of your internal SD, wipe or do a factory reset in twrp/cwm flash the zip and gapps... Reboot... Do the initial setup and restore your apps or start from scratch if you prefer... Good luck!

sweet!! hope you like it. i will start doing nightlies of this and evervolv next year. since lp (lollipop) is new you will find new features on each nightly. the posted build is from the 22nd and new things have already been added such as circle bar and gesture anywhere. it will take some time for these roms to have all the cool features of kk but those features will show up.

Evervolv does not have network traffic. Actually Evervolv has almost no extra options and will not have much added to it. It is designed to be extremely close to stock aosp.
I have tried netflix on every lp rom and it does not work. This is a note 2 issue. Netflix does work on there devices.

Very nice, I'm going to give this a whirl in a few minutes, it'll be nice trying out a different kernel for 5.0 too. Thanks jl

Doing an updated build today/tonight so if you have not downloaded/installed you might want to wait a day or two.

AICP 10 / 5.1.1 build?
Is there a stable AICP 10 (lollipop 5.1.1) build for the Galaxy Note 2 SPH-L900? I recently installed the stable version on my daughter's Galaxy S3, and I really like it. I'd like to put the Ice Cold Project on my Note II, but I can't find it anywhere. Any pointers? I'm really not in the mood to deal with all the sudden problems that pop up in nightly builds.

Jlmancuso got banned, so I'm not sure we will ever see more development on the roms he was working on. The note 2 is getting less and less development as it ages, just the natural life cycle of phones.
I see Jlmancuso got banned? He seemed such a great help here! Hopefully someone can shed some light on that one!
But I also just installed the ROM and do like it. But seem to have 1 weird issue in that my camera will not work. At first it only showed the front facing camera, and not the back. And then after trying to switch to video, it also can't find the camera.
I'm going to try and load a the camera.apk from the Alliance Rom (my former rom) if that is possible. But everything else seems to be working good on it.
