Can't run "people" cuz it force closes MikG 2.59

Did you reboot your phone in between your flashes and tests?

Wiped cache and dalvik twice, fixed uid mismatches in recovery yet?
Have you deleted any system applications?
I would upload the .apk, but I am downloading 2.59 right now. Once it is done downloading I will upload it. Maybe a corrupted package

You said you already flashed the apk and it didn't do anything.

Yeah I read wrong. Just noticed. And whatever I flashed a diff ROM. I might come back later to MikG, but I'm loving Classic look right here

Well you may want to redownload and flash MikG. Chances are there was just a code screw up that was causing the issue. MikG is a pretty well known ROM. I doubt it would've achieved such success if the contacts apk was constantly FC'ing.
Edit: There also may have been an apk that you downloaded that didnt play nice with the contacts apk. Check into that possibility as well.

Sprint tv apk (newest)

Ok I know there were like 3 different threads with prople wanting/needing the newest sprint tv app... instead of trying to find the different threads I am going to post it here... http://db.tt/cHv0mN60
If you have the problem that yours won't update then delete it from system/app and then install this as a normal .apk... no need to push to system/app.... you probably can but there is no need to as it installs just fine as a normal app

I need help I am on the cynamgen mtd rom and when I press a channel it looks for my location then it goes to the spinning circle. I have gone back to stock and did a titanium back up and I do a restore once on the cynamagen rom. If I install the above mentioned apk it says can't verify subscription. My sprint football works any suggestions please help would love to watch my NBA games.

I wish I could help you out man but I have the same problem with cm so I just restore a tw mtd rom when my heat are playing... sorry... you can try out the new sprint nba app though it works pretty well!

Does the app work with custom roms? Mine just always says subscription unavailable

I'm not sure if its the phone the app or something else but my subscriptions are all gone and most of the videos I try to play crash the app. I have tried reflashing cm7 many times but it still occurs. No other app has any issue. Google search failed me so I was hoping someone might have an answer.

Did you go into settings-applications-manage applications-youtube and then clear data? I would try that before anything else. Also, are you undervolting at all? If I go to low with setCPU, youtube is usually the first thing to crash.

Its the app EVERYBODY has this issue and its pissing me off
If you read the apps reviews there plumeting because they haven't fixed it yet

The comments are great, lol. But in an effort to stay on topic, have you tried uninstalling then restoring an older version through Titanium?
This has worked for me NM the past.
Also, though it sounds noobish,have you cleared Dalvik and formatted /cache under mounts &storage? Always ask the simplest questions first. Damn A+ steps. ;-)

Are both of your subs not showing up when you go to "My channel"? Mine wont show up on the youtube widget, but do show up when I go to my channel. I clicked on a few of the recommended videos and about half caused FCs!

I don't use titanium. Clean installs only. I don't nandroid ever either. I know all the tricks for simple stuff since I've been on xda since my Samsung moment. I had figured it was YouTube being YouTube and having issues with everything. But I wasn't sure until I tested stuff.

Having the same problem on my Galaxy Nexus and Hd2. I'm in the UK so I imagine this is effecting a lot of people!

Its happenning to me aswell. I found a fix that works. Go into cwm and wipe data cache n dalvik. It will wipe everything and you'll have to manually install your apps but it DOES work. Don't restore nandroid. It will bring back the bug.

I saw this fix somewwhere and it worked on my gf's epic running legendary 2.2 and samurai assassin (problem originated for her on acs ics 5.1). I did a factory data reset from the settings menu in android. After the phone reboots enter your account settings and restore apps with data using titanium backup. Its a bit tedious but it worked.

Looks interesting enough.
My phone is pretty much bone stock CM9 rc1 right now so I don't have anything to lose of something gets borked. I'll try it out and post back!

I've tried this app and it works amazingly. I had no problems but wasn't on tpr or bml. But I doubt that makes any differences.
The one thing I did have a problem with was out of the 25 apps I backed up and restored swype and handcent kept fc'ing but a wipe in titanium backup fixed that.

I ran that when I was on TPR 2.1 but I haven't reinstalled it since I flashed TPR2.2 yet, been doing it all the hard way with a nandroid backup on the main computer instead.

[Here we go again....soo good to be back on ff18 you have no idea...ok, so we have a stock ff18 rom with team venum's recovery kernel baked in, calks tweaks from his series of e4gt roms, venum's personal tweaks added and a few tweaks ive found on xda...very slim, and VERY FAST
The gear:
Calk's bare rom converter used to trim the fat
Calks camera app added(can take pics while on a phone call)
5mb limit, clearer pic mms.apk(changed icon back to stock)(thanks guy who posted this in t&a!!!!!!!!!)
Hacked hotspot(thanks rujelus!!!)
Flashing instructions:
Full wipe recommended, that means....
Wipe cache
Wipe data
Wipe dalvik cache
Calks format all(you can find this in any of his actual threads)
Flash rom
Enjoy
(preferably in stock el26 cwm if possible)
I am not responsible if you brick your phone, but if you have problems i will help however i can
If you use an overclock app like tegrak, it takes a bit for tweaks to get used to that, i overclocked with tegrak paid version to 1600 mhz, 1350 core voltage, and 267 ghz, phone rebooted halfway through stability check, tried again after reboot to settings listed above and it's stable at that now with no reboots(just fyi)

hit he back button till it takes you back to the " click here to download. "... it will then start the clock to download... i dont know why you have to do this but it happens all the time with 4shared
