Just wondering if anyone else has had to call t-mobile about there TP2. When I did about not being able to connect to GPRS Edge or 3G the tech support said they have no known issues or support topics on the TP2 and told me to do a Hard Rest. How has everyones elses experience been.
I'm kind of surprised they didn't give you tips on the MyTouch3G since almost every time I've called them they mix the awesome TP2 up with that damn phone.
Anyway, I'm not really surprised that they couldn't help you. What's the problem though, maybe we can help? Give us the symptoms & all, be thorough buddy.
LOL, sounds very familiar! Better yet, They no nothing about Windows Mobile! That's why XDA is here to assist you
Well before the TP2 came out and I asked about a release date they gave me the info on the MyTouch. The problem was I couldn't send or recieve emails or get online it said there was a connection issue so the technician said all she could tell me what to do is a Hard rest which worked for a few days but it happened again today so I had to Go to Start/ Setting/ Connections tab/ Connections Icon. Then goto Manage existing Connections. Pick T-mobile Data and Edit. On the first screen do Nothing and goto Next ( the next page) Access Point Name delete what it is and type wap.voicestream.com then click Next then Finish then that helped me get a connection without having to do a HARD RESET thank GOD for our own knowledge and everyone at XDA.
i had a connection problem that was due to the TP2 automatically setting up the internet connection as "T-mobile Internet" when the email was trying to use the "Internet" connection.
Think i just deleted the "Internet" connection settings which were redundant.
good luck with tmobile.
Most of the US cellular support reps can't even figure out their right hand from their left. Good luck getting support for your cutting edge phone!

US Cellular as in the company, or US Cellular as in the United States?
Talked to T-Mo 3 times since picking up my tp2. I got my phone 4 weeks before release so they didn't have much on it. The first call went well though as it was an mms issue dealing more with starting mms with them than phone settings. That was the first week, they had no clue. The second was a week before official release when I noticed that they showed their 3g network active in my area and I wasn't picking it up. This guy knew the phone well and knew Wmo but there was still no support info there. Turned out the 3g network wasn't active yet though their info said it was. 3g went active 2 days later and tp2 had no issue. The last was a week ago as I was constantly getting a message from their visual voicemail system even though that's not available for this phone. This guy was great and loved the phone. Was picking one up himself supposedly.

That was a blanket insult, so it was for all reps in the US. There was a (marginal at best) improvement when I went from Sprint to T-mobile, but for the most part, most of them are still clueless...
I do rarely get surprised when I get one on the line that seems to know their ****... but yeah, very rare. Almost endangered maybe.
TmoUSA are pretty useless i scratched my battery door and i wanted to buy one. they tried to sell me a my touch 3g door. Lets not even go with HTC USA they dont even carry the battery door or the stylus and told me to look online for it. How can a company not carry their own supplies???

I have had pretty good luck so far. made 4 calls for help while I had the wing, 3 of 4 calls had good techs. With TP2 I called about the hotfix with Tmo TP2 showing only 256mb instead of 288mb, Had all updates sent to my TP2 OTA. The tech even knew about XDA, I was impressed...lol

Sorry misunderstood you, I saw it on tmonews. So that was one of the things I checked when I went to the tmo store to see the phone. The demo phone showed 288mb so I figured all was good in the world...lol So when I got mine it showed the wrong amount. Called C/S and the tech checked and said my phone did not have a of the updates... Called the tech back from different phone and she sent the update to my phone OTA one reset and was good to go.
They have always been helpful with my Wing but it seems like the people they have now are retards or TEMPs they just don't know alot about the phone. A good way to screw with them in a playful way is tell them your giving them a 5 out of 5 for this call I guess its there ranking system and they always ask if I work for them and how I know that.
Is anybody else pissed that we paid $350 $400+ in CA with taxes and Verison is getting theres for $199
Heres the truth about Customer Care
As an employee who works for Tmobile Customer Care I get to see what its like for the retards who work there, they get promoted. Tmobiles customers supposedly want courtesy and concern and a "RIGHT FIT". The rep is to be quick(call is under 345 seconds), offer self helps(check minutes, balance, etc), perform a visual audit(tell you how you are doing over last 3 monthes on minutes), and show immediate concern(basically speak some kind of concern statement like " I know its important to be able to send email on a device like the TP2"). The care side of the company is being run by people who dont understand cell phones but rather they think they understand people. I think its bull**** especially when someone calls and needs help in fixing a problem and not to be baby talked or to be told some fake concern statement because the rep needs a good score. People just want the broken stuff fixed and they want to talk to someone who knows what their talking about. This is a major reason why the retards are running the show. The good reps who know whats going on get run off because they cant "perform" because their calls take longer simply because the customer knows when they found a good one on the line and gets everything they can because the next time they call it may not be such a good rep.
Greyfoxzero I give you a 5 out of 5 for that post. 9-10 employees are nice and bubbley and I love talking to the girls with the Mid West accent. They do a good fast job with everything they do but with high end stuff its a little harder if theres a problem the Customer Service person tries to help you but says they've never seen the phone or touched the phone before so they send you to technical support. ( Why not just have us start off there in the begining) Then we deal with Tier 1 2 3 then the We're sorry we can't help you Hard Reset your phone or Mail it back to us.

Dude you hit the spot on that one. Im just little annoyed that htc or t-mobile wont sell me a battery door they keep bouncing me back to htc and htc to t-mobile. but im happy with t-mobile i prefer great customer service than having some rude employee giving me attitude. i had very bad experiences with cingular/att and sprint and verizon. so i prefer going through this than having to be mad at a company and having to deal with it.
I have the link next to my sprint number that says to check for integration.
But then a window pops up and says "Unfortunately, Google Voice cannot be enabled on this Sprint phone. Please contact Sprint for more details as to why this cannot be enabled"
Anyone get this?
If so , how do I fix?

Maybe you should do as they suggest. Your phone probably does not support GV.
what are you smoking?

I have en evo like everyone else here.
for those with the same issue,
I was on hold with sprint for 1 hr.
Ended up with top tech support, and they couldn't figure it out either.
So unless anyone has any ideas I guess I'm SOL on porting my cell to Google.

I have the same message. Just by googling I found that it seems to be related to discounts on the account (do you have any discounts applied on yours?)...
I don't understand why a discount would interfere with me getting a free service but that seems to be the reason. I hope there is a way around this, because I'm not giving up my 23% discount!!
I ported my sprint number last night and then all the phone forwarding stopped even the gmail plugging the only phone that would ring was my cell phone so i removed the porting. Im starting think this google voice is no good. The msm don't support mms and your really not getting free calls and who wants to call a number and wait for a call back to use it ? kinda dumb i think i been looking every place to set up google voice over wifi for the cell phone but every post i find is back over a year ago and seams like google killed almost anything that was working for voice over ip least the free once and who would want to go pay for a cell phone plan then turn around ant pay for a wifi voip kinda think that is a dumb way to go
got the same thing on a rooted evo talked to sprint they dont know y mabe google is limiting numbers per day
See this post from a Sprint employee in the Google Voice forum http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/voice/thread?tid=7ad48f87ce6228ae&hl=en&start=80

In regards to the Discount. Just having a discount does not automatically remove you from being able to Integrate with GV. There are rules that the govt' has concerning Public Sector // Health Care // Govt Employees. Part of this limits who can access your account when you call in often your routed to select teams, as they have different access and know the specific rules related to what they can or cannot offer you.
The reason this effects Google Voice.... Since GV is considered a cloud based service there is privacy concerns that has to be cleared by the Govt and certified first. Part of this pertains to call logs. As call logs are regulated as to how they can be given out, crossing into the cloud creates some issues for more regulated accounts. But just willy nelly removing discounts without fully knowing what account type you are will not necessarily resolve the issue. Let me futher explain :
1.Reseller = MVNOs (Virgin // Common Cents // and a few other low cost carries that Sprint owns (some of the regional "carriers" that offer the 200 minutes free) // etc --- or Carriers that use the Sprint Network and don't maintain it on their own (or with Close partnership with ericson)
2.BOOST CDMA/iDEN AT/ST = B/D, I/C, I/Y, I/Z (Any phone that says boost CDMA or iDEN boost will not work)
3.Sprint iDEN = iDEN (Used to be on Nextel? Still have the Chirp -- will not work --- as iDEN while fully intrigrated with Sprint does operate still a little differently due to Network type and how the Switches handle -- More of a Motorola type issue)
4.Non-Sprint (competitor) - Any non-Sprint Customer (Aka Verizon // ATT // TMobile // US Cellular // ETC
5.Corporate sub = Acct_Type - C (Does your Company pay for your phone? That is a Corporate sub -- If you get the bill and its in your name and under you SSN then its yours and not Corporate even if you then get paid by your company for the bill)
6.Government sub = Acct_Type - G (This is where it gets sticky and I an not 100% Certain as there are some Govt//Public Sector // Health care accounts that will fall under this but some that do not based on company and I do not the specifics 100%
There is also the issue that Google is only converting a certain number of accounts per day. This is a Google issue and not a Sprint issue. There is more leg work involved for Google then for Sprint when your converted and it will increase their network load, so understandably they are doing a roll-out, it would be nice if they did this before the "Launch" but what do you want, its free.
To the people saying that Sprint did not give training. I can count at least two trainings that I had related to this, in addition to daily communications and other internal posting. I do work at a Call Center here in the US and I hope I have not released any information that I should not have (I do not believe I have as its the same information I would have given over the phone) and the posting above is the opinion of myself and not that of my Employer and they had not input or say in my post.

@Insp_Gadget Sorry I meant to clarify that on the Govt // pub sector... There are rules and regulations on offer things to govt public sector // health care employees. These rules are in place to avoid the impression of offering a bribe to said employee even on a personal account. As these rules are in place there are limitations as to what can be done on some of these account. As I Stated I cannot define exactly what the definition between the accounts that are listed as Pub Sector that can be handled v. not. I know there were some account that are indv account that I nor my agents can access due to the limitations and the blocks put in place to prevent Sprint (aka an employee) inadvertently offering what the Government would view as a Bribe.. Does this negatively impact some people yes, sadly it does.
If it make y'all feel any better I work for the company and I have not been able to get my line brought over either, I know for a fact that other employees using their phone (same account type as mine -- Employee) have gotten it to work. My advise ... keep waiting, is this negatively impacting your life overall... O seriously hope not... you have to remember that at this time the product is geared to the "Early adapters" (despite being open to the pubic at this point one of the downfalls of being an early adapter is there are some issues and kinks that need to be worked out. Please be patient and do as I do... check each day if it moves over. Even I was at checking every few hours yesterday but I can wait. Overall it will save me perhaps an average of .05 seconds per day. I can deal with waiting for that.
I know a lot of the frustration is the lack of Answers and confusion as to why it will not migrate over. The only suggestion I have to speed the process up... make sure you bill is paid, as when you are delinquent there is a limit to the number of things you can do, and GV intergeneration is not one of them
**EDITED FOR Disclaimer*** as always the posting are my own and not that of my employer.

I figured it out.
If you have a discount on your account it will not port.
You have to call them and tell them to change it to "individually responsible" then you can port it over, and switch it back to the discount.

Is this something you did on the same phone call?
My Sprint account is in my name, with my info, I pay for it, I just have a code I give them to prove that I work for a company that provides a discount... The Sprint store employee that set me up did a terrible job of setting up my discount in the first place, so I went 2 months without my discount before it finally got applied, so I don't want to drop it and then have to fight with them again to get it set back up.
Thanks!
So for those who upgraded to the Nitro HD and had to sacrifice their unlimited plans, have you guys tried this little loophole? It was brought up in the Atrix forum and it seems many people have tried it and succeeded. I'd love to try it but nobody around me has an Iphone 2G so I can't do it yet.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1008698
Btw, if it works for you, please thank the appropriate people, and I mean the original poster on the link above. I am merely bringing this here so people who didn't know about it can give it a try. This is not my work in any ways.
EDIT/NOTE! To all newcomers/readers of this thread, please be informed that this loophole is no longer available! The very loophole that has been used for years by many has been permanently patched by AT&T as of December 2011. As such, nobody, and I mean NOBODY, can provide their services to upgrade your data plan to Unlimited anymore. Please avoid reaching to ebay sellers who used to provide such services, for example, lordofthereef, since they can no longer help you. Your only real option right now is to plea your case to AT&T in hopes they will somehow provide you with unlimited. Thank you for your interest with this thread.
I don't think that's going to work for an LTE area. I still have Unlimited Data with my Nitro, but I don't have LTE over here.
It works. I know because I did it. Actually I didn't DO it myself. I paid a guy on ebay to do it. I have a friend who also paid him and got it done. Last summer I was tethering with my iphone before I knew I wasn't "allowed" to and they cancelled my Unlimited plan. Since I couldn't get ahold of an iphone 2G I paid the guy on ebay. His seller name is lordofthereef. Don't use anyone but him (I've heard people have problems with the other sellers).
I don't know why anyone would lose their Unlimited plan switching to the Nitro. Whatever AT&T rep told you that you couldn't keep Unlimited LIED to you.

Allstar, can u describe wat needs to be done with this seller in order to get the unlimited to work? And how much did u have to pay him? I searched for him on ebay, found him but he has no postings that show him offering to get unlimited for you. If he doesn't charge an exorbitant amount of money to do it, I am willing to pay him for it.
Edit: Nevermind Allstar, found it through his old feedbacks...It seems he is saying it is currently unavailable though hmm.

Oh that sucks. I wonder if AT&T killed it or he is too busy. He's in school and was being hounded by idiots to do that for them (people from forums trying to go around ebay). I paid him $40, but I saw his price go down to $35. Maybe message him and see if he knows of someone else trustworthy that can do it.
Fudge!! He said the AT&T unlimited data plan that he is doing is down for good! I don't know if it's just with him or AT&T finally got rid/patched the loophole, but this is looking grim
Oh man. I guess it was just a matter of time before AT&T caught on. If you can get ahold of an iphone 2G for little or no cost I would still try it.

I don't think it's possible anymore, without actually escalating the issue to their claims team. This guy confirmed it over at the atrix forum:
ajdrausal said:
The loop hole no longer exists, I called 611 (customer service) and the rep had to do an escallation, they ended up giving my friend the 30$ a month unlimited but it wasnt something they could do from the get go. What you can do to get it is call them up and if u never had a smart phone before but had a regular messaging phone is.
add unlimited data
wait a billing cycle
aquire iPhone 2G
try to activate it
call 611 and complain that u had unlimited and since iPhone 2g is older they should allow it, have them send a email to the team that takes care of feature and have them add the unlimited 30$ plan (since the 20$ doesnt exist)
That is basically what happened with my friend, but he had unlimited on his messaging phone for a year.

The seller also said that the loophole is what he used and is now no longer functioning.
Fudge! I should have moved faster or did it back when I was on the atrix!
Not sure why you're having to jump through hoops. The guy just offered to keep the unlimited plan that I've had the whole time.
If you have the Unlimited at the time of upgrading you can keep it. Some have been told you can't, but that is a lie. I've heard several reason people are given, but they are all false. This trick is for those that either never had unlimited or lost it at some point. Unfortunately it looks like it's a closed loophole.

Umm thats not the case. Switching to the LTE plans is still unlimated if your grandfathered in. As I did not have a problem doing so. I got the unliamted plan on a brand new line 3 months ago. bought a good shape iPhone 2g localy. PAIN to activate cause iTunes. Then after that sold it and made 10 dollar profit
I never lost my unlimited due to an upgrade. I let go of it back when I was on a BB Curve and did not need data plan on the phone. Didn't realize they were gonna cancel unlimited from their roster of data plans, so now i'm stuck with a 2GB (well 3GB with their new data plan). That's why I'm dying to get back my unlimited.
I think the only way to get it now is to know someone on the inside with the ability to manipulate the plan features.

I am posting here because I am getting quite a few people asking about unlimited data through eBay. Unfortunately this has been shut down completely by AT&T (read neither myself or any other private party can do this any longer). I am posting here in hopes that people read this and stop trying to contact me for this over eBay message. I have been getting half a dozen or more requests weekly, and will likely just start not responding sepparately to each and everyone.
To those I have helped, enjoy!

Lordofthereef, Thank you for stopping by and informing everyone that this loophole is no longer available. If you are having an issue getting the Lumia 900 unlocked or trying to set it up on an AT&T MVNO. Please post something here. I started to think about it, when I bought the phone I thought.. ah I will just get it ulocked and bring it to T-Mobile. Then I was told about H2O in the process, even then I hit an AT&T wall. I did not unlock the phone, I am using it on AT&T through a friend so to speak H2O. The network settings app is on the marketplace if you are outside the US, it's not inside the US. I got off the phone with Nokia 2nd tier and he hinted toward AT&T blocking it. Then I started to think about what I was purchasing and how really nothing else we purchase is like this. You buy a car it's yours, you buy a computer it's yours.. why are phones different? I called my class action attorney client and had a discussion with him about it. Nothing may come of it, but if it does I need a list of those in the same boat, you bought the device out right no contract and can't use it outside of AT&T and that includes features like MMS not functional and a simple config utility would fix. Please do not post about how it won't work becuase blah, blah, blah. I just need a list of people so if anything comes of it I can say here is a list of others with the same issue.
Jumping on the bandwagon...

Right there with ya. I however went with Straight Talk which of course I cant use my MMS as well until the unlock comes available. I am curious if I can proxy my wifi to an international proxy so that I can access outside the USA market apps? Anyone have any ideas on this?
You can add me to the list of those that bought the phone at full price. I never called AT&T to ask for an unlock code. Do I need to do that first to prove that I'm at a disadvantage caused by AT&T?

You can add me to the list of those that bought the phone at full price. I never called AT&T to ask for an unlock code. Do I need to do that first to prove that I'm at a disadvantage caused by AT&T?

Let's see what he says.. I contacted H2O today, as soon as they realized it was WP7, nope can't get MMS. I saw the pics of the network setup out of US and it has all those settings we need. If we need to contact AT&T I will try that tomorrow, but I think this is a bigger issue.

I know people have been saying to give up calling ATT. But I just called for the first time tonight, and thought I'd share some of the interesting bits I got. Well interesting to me because they weren't what I was expecting in comparison to everyone else's. Anyways~,
~I asked about dates and a supervisor told me that on 5/7/2012, this past Monday, that their notes for the Lumia 900 were updated by corporate.
~What it essentially says is that they can't say anything. lol
~When I pushed a bit more she told me that it was updated to say that they have no expected date as of now for the release of unlock codes. That they won't release any now because it's an exclusive and otherwise ineligible (Which everyone has already heard.). And that customer service reps are urged to not even submit requests because they all will instantly be denied on the spot.
~Also they told me I was the first one they've heard of trying to unlock this phone.
EDIT: Also, I know this was just adding to the pile of. "Reps Don't Know Squat"
EDIT: Meant to post this on the other thread. Oh well~ Anyways~ I'm in too I guess.

For this thread, I don't think it matters. The way I look at it, if they are gonna control where I can use a phone I paid full price for (Even if it was on CL) without a contract. Then they should support it to get my MMS working on their MVNO! Could you imagine if other things you buy where like this. You buy that nice new Nissan Fronteir, you can only drive on Nissan roads. Let's say you bought a GTE rotary phone 30 years ago and you could only use GTE as long distance company we would be like FU I am gonna do what I want!

HHAAAAA~! I SAID THE SAME THING OVER THE PHONE. (Except I used Toyota). They also brought up that I didn't buy the phone directly from them, like that it was a point for them. And I go, "Yeah...that kind of just furthers my point. How does AT&T hold exclusive rights to block me from using something the way I want when I didn't even purchase it from them?) And they just repeated "AT&T has exclusivity and the phone is currently ineligible after that.
Too funny!! I love it.. well great minds think alike or it's just the damn truth. ha ha

I did not unlock the phone, I am using it on AT&T and though the network settings app is on the marketplace if you are outside the US, it's not inside the US.

OP - you're wasting everyone's time. When you buy a branded phone you know full well that it will be locked to a carrier. Buying the device at full retail does not entitle you to take your device elsewhere. AT&T (and all other carriers) spend months and millions in R&D to develop and test the phone before bringing it to the market, so it is completely logical that they wish to get a return on investment in form of service revenue. In case you're wondering, carriers do not make money off hardware, that's not the business they're in.
There is no rule or law that requires carriers to remove SIM lock. They do it as a courtesy when they see fit, but they are not required to do that by any means. How do you think AT&T was able to deny iPhone unlocks for so many years if it was illegal?
Anyone who bought the phone before checking with AT&T about their unlock policy have no one but themselves to blame, simple as that.

"Please do not post about how it won't work becuase blah, blah, blah" Hmm guess you didn't read that part. This is not just about unlock codes. "
H2O MMS or others Ulock codes" I don't even need an unlock code for H2O. Besides I already made my case to someone who does this stuff for a living, maybe nothing, maybe something... didn't I already say that somewhere?

I know, I know , we will see what he says.. never know might see something we don't. After all, I am a techy, not a lawyer. May be interesting.. maybe not. He did bring up what it says on the box. T-Mobile has a seal that says by opening this product you accept terms yadda yadda. AT&T does not. No terms and conditions on the box at all that I saw.

They don't have to post terms on the box, they are usually on the back of the sales receipt. As long as the phone is fully functional in the environment it was designed for, there is just no basis for complaint. I wouldn't spend a dime on the lawyer if I were you. Just thinking logically here, not trying to start a war
Anyone else get a call from Tmobile?
They are looking into whether or not the phone was fraudulently purchased, I don't like the sound of this.
The rep said there is nothing I need to do now, but I should have my receipts and all that in order. I don't know what this means, but it's a bad sign. =(
What?

Did you verify the call was actually from t-mobile? Also, you contact Negri? I personally have not dealt with them, but I would suggest verifying t-mobile truly called me and then taking it up with Negri.
tweaking my note 3-alpha style
Unless some third party tapped into Negri's customer database, it's most likely T-Mobile.
Can't say that I'm surprised something like this would happen.
Actually be very careful who you speak to. Anyone Know whitehawkx, Dev on vibrant/S2 and others, anyway he just tweeted today that someone hacked his T-mobile acct, by saying they were T-mo and asked him to do a survey. Just be careful the info you give out.

Thanks for the warning and I certainly hope it isn't some scam trying to get my information.
But I'm pretty sure it was Tmobile's number (800-937-8997) that was on my caller id and when I called it back it directs to Tmobile customer service. I'm pretty sure it is Tmobile. I've already contacted Negri to see what they say.
I hope this all works out and that I can keep my phone and not get blacklisted.
Just for further information:
They asked where I bought the phone and I told them Negri and how much I paid for it.

It IS possible to spoof a caller ID so that is nothing to go by. I could call you from your bank's phone number and play the old game of social engineering to get your account information the same way. What may have happened is that the Note was stolen or is within the same batch of phones that may have had a shipment stolen. I can't see T-Mobile locking you out of your own phone over this as long as you have a proof of purchase

Nice phishing attempt. Caller ID can be spoofed.

^^ Yes, this is why I asked if you verified it was truly t-mobile. You can call them back. If they called you, it will be noted in your account. But I do not answer ANYONE, who calls and asks me something. If someone calls me, I will hang up, then call the company after getting the name of the person that supposedly called me. If they have it noted that there is some important information that needs to be discussed, great, but otherwise it is always a terrible idea to answer anything from anyone without verifying. Hell, when you call them they make you give them a pin, answer security questions, etc... There is a reason they protect your identity, I would hope you like to protect yourself from someone else.
Sorry for the rant, I know a few people that have been caught by this type of stuff, and being in the military, they ingrained the "social engineering" aspect into me, so I am cautious about everyone who calls me. But, I am basically saying to be careful. So give them a call and ask them if they called you. This way at least you'll know if it is a legitimate claim or not.

Well thanks for all that. I will try and be more careful. But if it were someone phishing I don't know what they would do with that information -- seems pretty random to me. I didn't even tell them how much exactly I paid for it -- just gave them an estimation.
I verified with Tmobile, it was a rep that called me as noted in my account -- but they did not specifically say what that matter was.
But again, thanks for your tips guys -- I will be far more cautious next time. This is a good lesson for me to never be caught off guard.
That's good to hear. Probably because there are a ton of fake note 3's out there, and they want to make sure you didn't get one of those. They can always seem real enough, or as Flippy125 said, the shipment may have been lost or stolen, then sold without knowledge to vendor. Hope all is well though.
tweaking my note 3-alpha style
It might have something to do with the fact that Negri seems to be selling (or at least has sold) phones that were later blocked by T-Mobile (i.e. they were buying used phones and selling them as new). It's in a thread that I started when I order from Negri (and later cancelled). T-Mobile might be investigating that. I have no proof of that, it's just a theory.
I don't give out any information by period!!

According to an IMEI check, it's blacklisted most likely due to nonpayment. Meaning whomever Negri purchased the phone from -- they didn't pay off the remaining balance of that phone. At least that's my guess.
That should fall back on Negri, if they want to maintain their business anyway. Otherwise I'd be pursuing legal action, which IMO, they wouldn't have a leg to stand on.. Guess it's up to them at this point.. Have you spoken with Negri, what's their position?

I contacted Negri and they told me to RMA it. Has this happened to anyone else before?
Also just in an attempt to go beyond Negri, I tried contacting my CC and Paypal about it but they couldn't dispute the charges given the length of time (about 2 months) since the purchase date.
So far, it seems my only resort is hope that Negri takes care of this.
Btw, I contacted Tmobile and they asked me to write the Legal Department a letter if I want to submit and/or ask for further details.
One of my two note 3s got blocked yesterday, trying to contact somebody at Negri during the weekend is impossible. Called, emailed, and tweeted. Even called the owner. I'll update after I get a hold of someone
