Turned off wiped kindle without installing a ROM - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey I was installing a new rom in twrp, I wiped everything and then went to select my ROM to install when I realized that I couldn't find my ROM anywhere in my filesystem. In fact, I didn't have any roms on it. I was far from any computer and wouldn't be for some time, so I turned off my kindle thinking that I could just boot back into recovery later. Now when I turn it on, the LED light flickers, changes colors, and the screen remains blank. Windows won't pick it up. Where do I go from here? Thanks for your help.

So I flashed gedeROM, but I still liked the stock better, so I went back to restore. I did a factory reset(TWRP,Wipe), wiped the cache and dalvik's cache. Then I did a restore. When it was restoring, it just went to TWRP screen(where it says Team Win with a blue backround). So I rebooted and All that happens is that it tries to boot, turn off, turns on, and tries to boot again. I am going to try to put my restore back on because I already used it yesterday and it worked fine, so either it got copied to my Kindle wrong or its the gedeROM. Any advice. The quick answers I need is, if I flash the 6.3.1 update.zip, will it delete my SD Card?
EDIT: It turns on to the fff. I choose normal boot. Then it says booting. And then it turns off. and it keep on doing this.

Flashing 6.3.1 will only touch the bootloader, recovery, boot, and system partitions.
maybe you should try gederom a new version just came out and netflix works!

Boot into TWRP and do a factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache and then flash the rom again.
Hello veeman,
I have done that ones already but I am going to do it again now, will let you know if it works or not this time
Okay
I went into recovery mode, did factory reset three times, then did wipe cache three times, and then did wipe darik three times. After that i installed the rom again. First time it booted up it went to a black screen with what i guess you call the back light on. So i powered it off and started it again.Kindle fire screen came up and then went black again.

Okay, well what you think is TWRP is actually CWM. CWM does not play nice with newer ROMs (ICS/JB). Install TWRP to fix the problem.
Okay since i cant get it to boot or anything how will i get it installed at this point

[Q] Alright, Getting Frustrated....

So after a bunch of issues getting this KF back to usable using a factory cable I am still having issues. I have installed all versions of TWRP from 2.2 to 2.6. I have tried flashing the stock ROM on each TWRP version 3 times (just to be sure!). In every instance, the KF gets stuck on the stock boot screen. Sometimes it would come up with the stock message saying it needs to restore and press the power button. I then press it, and it goes back to it. Most of the time it just stays on the boot screen with no restore option. I have used KFU, fastboot, unbrick, and pretty much anything that was out there and still NOTHING but a boot screen. Does anyone have ANY options for this besides trying to convince Amazon to exchange it?
How long does it actually take to flash the ROM? No matter what I try, it seems the flashing process is takes less then 20 seconds, so I assume that is not flashing the entire ROM and that is why I get stuck at the logo screen only.
Make Sure you wipe Factory Reset, Wipe Cache and Dalvik before flashing Stock. After flashing wipe dalvik again. I would recommend flashing external storage then. After that revolt. You might wait like about a few 2-5 Minutes but it will eventually boot.

Thank you for your reply and help! I have done all that repeatedly, except the external SD wipe. Nothing worked! I have a bigger issue at hand now. I accidentally left the KF hooked to the PC overnight with the FC. When I came down in the morning, the KF would not power on. I left it charge from a wall adapter for 5 hours, and still won't power on. It is getting warm like its retaining a charge, but no screen light or charge light. I have tried all options I have found on here and other sites to reset the KF, no luck! Any thoughts on this?

Trouble Installing CM-11 Remix

Hey guys I'm having trouble installing CM-Remix 11. The rom is amazing, I installed an older version and it worked amazingly, but after I turned it off and turned it back on (I simply had it sleep for 3 days, never turned it off) the screen would go black after a couple seconds in the boot screen. The phone is not turned off, 'cause the LED light still flashes when charging and it vibrates when holding the power button.
I tried installing the newer versions, but now the ROM wont even install. It goes black on the boot screen like before. I've tried factory resetting, formatting the entire phone and sideloading the ROM but nothing works. When using the ROM it was super smooth and had awesome features so I'd love to be able to use this ROM. I have been able to install other ROMs, regardless if they are 4.4.x or 4.3.x.
Any suggestions?

Overheating, freezes, and screen artifacts

Hello,
Ive had this device for now 3 months and never once had a problem. I did however stay on stock for quite awhile just rooted. Recently Ive been testing out different roms and ran through quite a few until I heard about the all mighty CM gem by Sultan. So I figured I would give it a shot. Went ahead and downloaded that along with gapps like any other rom. Booted into TWRP and wiped both the system and cache/dalvik. Then went ahead and attempted to install the rom. Unfortunately midway through it froze and my screen artifacted. I figured I would give it a few seconds and the screen turned black with the notification light turned on. I then tried to reset it with a volume+power combo and nothing happened. After about 5 mins of letting it rest it turned back on.
I went ahead and tried this process again thinking it was just a fluke but nope happened again. So I figured it was a corrupt zip file and I would just go back to the stock image I flashed before which was working perfectly fine. Again froze and gave me artifacts. Hoping to find an answer I downloaded the latest TWRP image and flashed the roms again. Same outcome. I even went out of my way to flash the stock recovery, fully reset all my data through there and then reflash TWRP and sideload Sultan's CM. Which I for once actually got into the ROM however now whenever I get into the ROM my phone overheats instantly and I get the nasty artifacts back along with a reset of the phone. Well kind of the screen goes black and I have to wait until it cools off to turn it back on or else it wont turn on.
Anyone have this issue? Anyone know how to solve this? This is my only phone and I go off to college next monday. Thanks in advanced.
UPDATE: I now cannot get the phone to turn on. No haptic feedback, no LED notification light, no recognition in windows. Literally a paperweight at this point.
The same here, flashed CM and Gapps...
Phone hangs on boot, rebooted the phone and now it won't go on..
